THANK YOU Canton Glenoak for Hartline. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!.
IIRC, Dan Dierdorf went to the formerly named Glenwood High School. There were two schools in the area: Glenwood and Oakwood which then merged into GlenOak......after I moved from North Canton many years ago. At least that is how I think it happened. And yes, thank goodness for Brian Hartline. Will never, ever, forget that block vs. Iowa in 2006 when he took out two defenders so that (who was it?) could score. Not sure if it was Beanie or Troy - or who it was?

This is correct. My dad was in school with DD at the time.
Brian getting hurt his senior year was disappointing. His brother, Mike, was QB and that Glenoak team was quite good. Instead, McKinley beat them in Fawcett Stadium in the playoffs as the away team. McKinley went on to play for the state championship against Kerry Coombs and Colerain. Easily could have been Glenoak had Brian been healthy.
Marilyn Manson? How's come he didn't get beat up in school?
Kudos to Canton Glenoak for their tolerance.

Manson attended Heritage Christian School prior to Glenoak. Not quite sure how he became the ... "thing" he is now.
trying to remember the BCS game against LSU for some reason - was it Hartline that called for an unsportsmanlike that brought back a TD?

Can't remember, but many on that team lost their composure after the 2nd quarter when the game was unraveling and getting away from them. The cheap call on Person for procedure that forced a FG instead of a second TD; the missed punt block by Spitler and the TD pass that Robo could not hang onto all spelled doom that night.
I was pretty hammered by that time, so hard to recall. I want to say it was Hartline, but it may have been Person like you mentioned.
A couple foxes.
Tim Fox was in the 1988 movie 'Everybody's All-American' starring Dennis Quaid, and Fox made quite an impact on Quaid...according to IMDB, Filming was stopped for weeks when Dennis Quaid had his collarbone broken by Tim Fox of the New England Patriots during filming. Footage of Quaid rolling in pain on the sidelines of the snow game appears in the finished film.
Greg Smith was a tough dude, one of the more underappreciated players Cooper had early on.
Actually scrolled down to say the same thing. He was a good football player.
So this is the lovely institution we have to thank for Brian Hartline...? Much appreciation to the good folks at Canton Glenoak
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Anyone else remember the back flip that Tim Fox did after his pick-six at Illinois in 1975?
I do remember a back flip. Doubt I would have remembered it was Fox.
