This was always coming for Perry. I’m glad it happened and look forward to watching him for a long time if he enjoys it.
As Holly said, we saw this coming years ago. Congrats, JP!
My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)
I think he does a fine job on the NFL Hour on 97.1, I think he'll do great.
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
This is a perfect fit. Good for him! He's always been very smooth in interviews and just seems like he has a nack for being in front of the camera.
I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.
I Believe In Ohio State.
Smooth and he provides well-timed depth fairly effortlessly. As they said above: Saw it coming
Guy’s got charisma. Terrific hire!
Looking forward to seeing and hearing him. Congratulations, Joshua!

BTN > ESPiN. Great hire.
This makes my Saturday(s).
Excellent move for both parties
Anyone know where to get that hat ?
This guy has the potential to be a future star in that field if he wants it.
Very well deserved for a great guy.
Let's Go Bucks
I am sure Joshua Perry, like other former OSU players, will be neutral when it comes to talking about Ohio State. Too bad the same cannot be said about former TTUN players, who are the biggest homers in the world for their former school. (Looking at you, cackling Desmond Howard).
Bucks fans in Mass
If anything, Herbie is almost too "neutral" on OSU to the point where he's starting to sound against us lol
Then there's Jalen and Desmond...

Maybe there should be a poll about best former Buckeye as an analyst.....
If 11w did polls, I would go with Laurinaitis since I feel he can get it done in the booth and the studio.
Spielman would be my second choice, mainly because he has an old school view of how football should be played when he is calling a game and I find that entertaining and fun.
However, Perry may be better than both. Looking forward to his success.
Stan Jackson would get my vote. He has a great speaking voice and is well informed. I loved his radio show with Matt McCoy too.
Luv Stan as a analyst and he tends to show his Buckeye bias without being a complete 'richard' unlike the ttun 'dicks' ...
Anybody but Cris Carter.
On the basketball side......anyone but Jim Jackson.
That would be an interesting poll, definitely. My pick, no doubt because of my age, would be Herbstreit of the '90s--all the way back when he was just starting out by writing his own articles on the site I no longer go to unless I have no other effn choice. When you look back, the cfb biz really began its transformation into a total household industry, imo, back in the '90s and Buckeye analysts/commentators played key roles. Corso would be my other (adoptive) pick, again because, imo, the achievements and influence of those two (before C-bus fallout and Corso's health crisis).
Will JP still be on the 11W Weds and Sunday radio shows?
Looking forward to seeing you this fall! Congratulations, Joshua!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.. :)
We didn't lose the game.. we just ran out of time. Vince Lombardi
Josh is one of the best of the good guys. He knows the difference between success and significance in life. Best wishes.
Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.
Damn! That’s a pretty dope hat.
OSU is really locking down BTN. Personally I like parity amongst alumni analysts as it can get old if there are too many homers from one school, but I've really enjoyed Laurinaitis so if he's anything like him he'll do just fine.
Strength equipment is expensive & guarantees you nothing. A strong will is free & will give you everything you need.
Herbstreit has gone too far against Ohio State for his own gain. He has sold us out numerous times. The same people that like Herbstreit are the people that like Tom Herman when he left and we're rooting for him. Wake up America
Joshua is a well-spoken, photogenic, smart guy. He should have a long career in broadcasting.
