a 5am skully is then only thing that keeps my bowels working like clockwork. When my morning routine is thrown off my day turns to shit. Now I have to poop at work and I just won’t be the same. Thanks a lot Kevin.
Still not giving a damn for the whole state of Michigan.
Always poop at work. Might as well get paid for it.
Workpoop.com... let’s you calculate how much you make per year while on the toilet.
Why wouldn’t you want to poop at work when someone else will clean the bathroom?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
I’m all for taking as many poos on the clock as possible, but nothing beats freeing that first wolverine of the morning. Facts.
Its all the same to me.
“Being average means you are as close to the bottom as you are to the top.” John Wooden
Spot on... there are nothing but positives in the column for dropping wolverines at work. You are getting paid, somebody else cleans up the head, you're using their TP, and you get some quality time away from the cube world! Win Win!
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
Only problem with taking a wolverine at work is the fools next to me tearing it up in their stall. I have a cure for that though as there is a single bathroom in our lobby that I visit in the morning after my coffee works its magic. I'm not a social pooer.

You are spot on on - the PCP (post coffee poop) is an essential part of a morning routine. Doing jt in private is also key. Nothing worse than some fool sitting imches away from you and letting his backside roar while youre trying to read a mediocre 11W forum post about Hairball.
Gee whiz!! Someone is being a crappy human and handing on down votes to everyone.
Apparently some anonymous turd is too delicate to discuss poo habits. Its fuckin offseason, this is the kind of shit that happens around here.
Except you. I smell a conspiracy.
To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
Lol I don’t understand why someone gets auto downvoted for pointing out I failed at my job and scheduled the skully for the wrong time.
Woke up with debilitating diarrhea, thanks Crohns. Was looking for the 4 am (central) skully and was stuck wading through the forums. Cmooooooooon
Same here Dayton had yo log in to upvote you.
Please remind my wife if i come up missing please check behind the refrigerator, WTF?
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
This is like 4 times in last month it has been late. Good thing he doesn't have a real job or his ass would have been kicked to the curb by now.
Is it too late to bring back the Commie?
The commie actually has a daily newsletter (that also almost always comes at 4:59). But it’s decidedly not really about Ohio State sports anymore.

I subscribed to it for a while... it was the most depressing thing I have read in a while! I stuck with it as long as I could... even the Buckeye football news cam across as depressing! Oh well, to each his own!

An upvote to counter all the downvotes!
Thank you Kevin for your "hard" work! As long as the Skully comes out by 7am EST I am good to go!
Hijacked this skully with poop talk like a Spooner thread gets hijacked with talk of a 25 hard cap! My proudest moment!
I will have you a Skully in time for your morning poop tomorrow, do not worry.
The Nebraska game has been making me nervous for a while. But I agree completely that if everyone picks it for an upset, its not really an upset. Especially if College Gameday is there. Regardless, that will be the biggest game they've had in Nebraska for a really really long time and those people will be jacked for it.
Are we sleeping on Michigan State (the week after Nebraska) as an upset pick? They’re not the team they were in 2015, but I’m not thrilled about combining the letdown effect with a coach who likes turning games into defensive slogs.
Thats the real trap game. At Nebraska and at Northwestern are games that jump out as potential "upsets". But Sparty is the one nobody is talking about. Everybody seems to have written them off but this is when they have a habit of putting together a really good year.
Hopefully, we're not that far removed from the days Sparty was our main competition to win the B1G that we could conceivably overlook them as a threat.
Both Nebraska and MSU have my attention - but we're playing the Huskers on their turf - and Frost had a pretty good second year turnaround at his last stop.
While we don't have a high profile OOC opponent, I don't like the way this schedule lines up - culminating with Penn State and UM back to back.
Our guys are really going to have to stay on their toes -
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement. - Will Rogers
If College GameDay is there, it’s because they want to be at the front of the line heralding Nebraska’s long-awaited resurgence, which will come as a result of beating Ohio State.
The fate of this season pivots on two things: 1) Justin Fields’ health, and 2) our defense being a lot better, especially at stopping big plays. If both of those things go well for us, Fields and our offense beat the Blackshirts and our defense stops Martinez.
The silver lining to an upset loss to the cornholers is that they'll steal all the weasel thunder.
Its not like any of these "experts" are betting money on Nebraska. There is no down side to picking them at this point but don't fool youeself if Nebraska beats OSU it will be a HUGE upset.
"Corn Belt Braxton Miller." I like that. :)
I don't know why ttun is getting any love either. The roster is worse this year than last. I'm sure, sometime in the future, they are going to have their day against our beloved Buckeyes, but I'm betting the rent that day is not in 2019.
"We gotta go win this next game and make the State of Ohio proud!"-UFM
tTUN does it's best in the preseason when they don't actually have to play, and our Buckeyes have the most questions enering the season since 2011. And that combo get's writers clicks. And if it doesn't go tTUN's way, for the 8th straight time, in late November then those writers might not have Harbaugh to write about any longer. (Hint; they're going down again!)
ONE Not Done!
UM has made a big commitment to hype. They really had no choice. Next year their will be a new story line to go with their new space age offense with secret plays.
Everyone has anointed Gattis the savior.
This 0717. "Their time" was so hyped last yr. especially rated #4/HIGHly favored coming into the Shoe/all the mirage speak/+ garbage guarantees.
They didn't just get knocked off that pile of poop...it was the UFM Peak of Departure 0-4/0-7...a$$-WHOOP'N !
So now it's their "year AGAIN" well butter hairball up & call him a bisquit...its gonna be a Field Day having skunk weasels for lunch in the crap house.
It would be easy to go blind fanboy onto Galloway's seemingly blind fanboy OSU takes, but I think he's offering up a solid, pragmatic view on the Buckeyes.
Good lord, it's about time the B1G gets back into this playoff, no?
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
Yes it is, Hove! 3 consecutive years of excluding the B1G champ (yeah, I know they let us in over PSU in 2016 - I think they left us out the last 2 years primarily because of that awful showing in '16).

Joey Galloway proves yet again that he is a perceptive, intelligent analyst with unparalleled football acumen.
"The minute we stop expecting greatness, we become Wisconsin."
Thanks Mrs. Galloway.
When I heard Galloway make that prediction, the two other members on the segment tried their best not to burst out laughing. There's no way Ohio State is going undefeated even Ryan Day would privately tell you that. There's too many question marks on both sides of the ball
We went 13-1 with the worst defense we’ve had in recent memory. It’s possible. Fields doesn’t need to be Haskins. In fact, he adds a dimension. How about if we have a formidable running game again? And our “new” OL will be better than last years’.
Worst defense in school history. Don't sell Shianos achievement short...
I won't. Follow any of my comments on Schiano and you will see how I feel about him.
We have too much talent on both sides of the ball to think those question marks won’t be decided in Ohio State's favor.
Never say never (although literally you said no way). People said no way the 2014 team would win the natty...
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
"Question marks" are really only an issue for teams like Sparty that don't bring in elite talent. They don't know if the guys they trot out there will be able to perform or not. Question marks are far less problematic for teams like OSU, Oklahoma, Bama, and so forth.
Ohio State doesn't have to build. They reload. Remember when USC crushed us 35-3? They lost like 75% of their starters from the previous year. We returned the core of a team that made the NCG. That wealth of experience amounted to squat. We still got blown out, because USC had superior talent.
It didn't help us that we were without our best player. Like you said, talent is important.
It is very tough to run the table. OSU is one of about four teams with the talent to do it. As for questions, every team on the schedule has those issues, most far bigger question marks than the Buckeyes
Who do you think is going to beat us? Undefeated is not a ridiculous thought considering the schedule
I actually think our conference slate is kinda rough.
First, there's 4 tough games in a row: away at Nebraska, Sparty, away at Northwestern on a Friday night, and Wisky. At least there's a Bye after Sparty and Wisky.
And of course we end the year with PSU the week before away at TTUN.
All winnable games, of course, but that's no joke.
I'd like to take the opportunity to paraphrase Joey's analysis... " f ttun ".
You can have a favorite and still be objective when asked. It’s not an issue. The issue is spin, and they want it to be that way to affect recruiting.
It’s hard to feel bad for the dude with the lifetime AA Airpass, along with the lifetime companion pass. Seems to me he had a good thing going, after paying 400k total. Then abused it by booking fake people in the adjoining seat so he’d have an empty seat next to him, in first class. First world problems. Serves him right, says me.
Faking a person so you'd have an empty seat next to you in first class is just plain greedy, let alone dishonest. I've never flown first class - too cheap, I guess. I did get an upgrade to first class once on a flight from Tampa to Philly. However, I was flying with my two grandchildren (ages 14 and 4) and wasn't going to leave them in coach while I was up front. So, I let my grandson sit in first class. As soon as the plane pushed back from the gate, the pilot announced we were going to sit on the taxiway for a while to let storms blow through the DC area which was in our flight path. Sat there on the tarmac for 3 HOURS before we took off! My grandson made several trips back to visit and drop off the extra snacks and sodas he was getting in first class. Of course, being 3 hours late to Philly made us miss our connecting flight to Brussels, but that is another story. Funny story now, but not so funny at the time.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
I'm sure the stuffy old business man sitting next to your 14 year old loved it. Nice job!
My wife and I gave up our seats on an overbooked flight years ago on a Chicago to Seattle flight and I asked for 1st class tickets, which we got. It was amazing and made the next few trips in coach shittier than usual. Like a sitcom episode, I was cut off from the free drinks before they finished boarding the plane.
I had a law partner I found out after I left the firm that if he couldn't get a first class ticket would book an extra seat next to him in coach so no-one would sit next to him.
I'm trying to balance my blatant homerism with reality here, but I'm really struggling to understand why Michigan, which lost most of its defense and is allegedly starting *someone* at running back this year, is the favorite to win the conference.
I think they’re the favorites because Summer is the best time to sell Michigan football 95% of the time because no football is being played. They have the highest profile coach and many in the media want them “back” so badly they’ll overlook obvious flaws that they point out in others; example our offensive line loss is a weakness but losing an entire defense somehow isn’t. This summer oversell of Michigan always end in failure for them; see 2007 and 2012.
Nebraska can't be the annual "lose by 30 to a garbage opponent" game if they end up being competent. check mate, 11w
I’m made physically ill when I remember the Browns drafted Corey Coleman no. 3 with Michael Thomas sitting there.
but, but, he was fast - and he played for TCU, - and analytics said we should

He actually went to Baylor, which is...…. even worse
oops - my bad. I really tried to erase that draft pick from my memory. How many players from that draft do the Browns still have after they got rid of Ogbah? 2 or 3? All later picks
Thomas didn't even get picked in the 1st round. Wrap your head around that.
"You're the patron saint of the totally effed" - Hot Tub Time Machine
Nebraska should not be an issue if the linebackers and defensive ends do their jobs. Reasonable containment of Adrian Martinez will keep the Huskers from upsetting the Buckeyes.Pressure from the ends and minimizing the short passes should do the trick.
The Door Dash horror stories make me wonder why somebody would want total strangers to transport their food to them. People do nasty things these days. At least a pizza delivery driver works for the company that makes your pizza. A lot more responsibility there.
I still worry more about Cincinnati than Nebraska. Fickell's going to go all out.
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
I am definitely ready for camp to begin. The prognosticators' love for TTUN and finding a trendy BIG West upset pick is par for the preseason course. That said, I'm ready for camp news
Maybe he's letting his Buckeye show a little bit
No, Galloway learned from his buddy, Herbstreit, and neither ever let their "Buckeye show" while 'working.' Both of them bend over backwards, to the point of going too far sometimes, to make certain they aren't considered homers. If Joey Galloway says OSU will go undefeated, then he really believes they'll go undefeated.
...but if you're Ohio State right now you've beaten Jim Harbaugh so soundly that you're not really worried about it."
Wrong... not about the beatings, but certainly about the lack of concern. It's *ichigan, and they're always concerning for Ohio State fans, regardless of who coaches them. This season, that concern is palpable... it's gonna be a war up there in four months.
Right now, I'm as sick and tired and tired and sick of hearing about 4-8 Nebraska as I can be. The pure talent gap between Ohio State and Nebraska is significant, and while Scott Frost is their perfect hire, and while we all expect their program to make big strides over the next few years, they're so far behind the talent/depth curve relative to OSU and other elite programs that if Day's team loses this game I'll be very surprised. Could it happen? Of course. Is it now chic to predict a B1G West land mine loss under the lights (potentially) for the Buckeyes? Yes. Do I expect it to happen? No... the game 'atmosphere' will only carry Nebraska so far before talent takes over. I know... Iowa and Purdue. I don't care. If Ohio State solved its defensive woes, then Nebraska shouldn't be anything more than an annoying gnat that needs swatted.
When I die, sprinkle my ashes over the 70's
Nebraska isn’t quite on my radar yet. I think they’ve got too much big 12 in them still. They’ll put up points but they will leak points like a faucet at 3am. I like our defense to get key stops and beat them fairly soundly
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
So happy for Mike Thomas. Go get your money, you have definitely earned it.
Fields of Dreams
You can tell, there is a guy that has worked, worked, and worked and continues to work to perfect his craft. It's guys like this that you root for.
I was at the Superdome for the first Rams game last year. He's a monster, may end up re-writing the record books, and already has a good start.
Until we flush the Iowa and Purdue memories from the bowels of the media and fans (since we started the thread with regularity), we will get these trendy west division upset picks, I really though Northwestern at home on a Friday night was going to be the pick
Wow Tom, that is a pretty graphic description of the Iowa/Purdue problem. I like the idea of flushing them though.Good job, that alone deserves an up vote.
I believe the NW game is after a bye week so that should have the Buckeyes rested and prepared.
The grocery store employee who went missing for 10 yrs and where they found him is strange to me because of the comment about ' Employees would sometime go there to hide when they wanted to take an unofficial break.' Evidently these employees found a new place to take a break after he went missing or you would think he would have been found sooner. Just a very strange set of circumstances.
Go Bucks and keep beating the off-season!!!
That story was even more odd than the headline made me expect it to be. So he worked there, but wasn’t actually working when he went missing. And as you say, if this was an area where employees took breaks, how could nobody have noticed anything at all? A noise, a smell? And if the spot he fell into was only 18”, that must be one small dude. I am no Schearzenegger, but no way am I fitting into a space 18” wide.
Terrible story, but way weird as well

That's why I still eat donuts and never drink light beer...so I don't get into these sticky situations.
I find it nearly impossible that nobody smelled anything. It doesn't take me long to realize there is a dead rodent in the garage.
the head coach is the guy who just helped develop a first-year starter into a Heisman finalist and engineered the 62-point carpet bombing of Michigan
And let's not forget the Buckeyes left points on the board after settling for field goals inside the 5 with Tater on the field and they took a knee deep in michigan territory to run out the last minute plus. That was the most frustrating 62 points ever :)
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret, take your pick
and they took a knee deep in michigan territory to run out the last minute plus
If Knox doesn't get hurt, I'm convinced we go for the TD and the two. No doubt in my mind thats how Urban wanted to go out, with a 70 bomb and a 2 point conversion up 30 points
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Meyer already called for the victory formation before he noticed Knox on the ground.....but I too was hoping for a score and 'why did you go for two' question in the post game presser
I was frustrated at the time that we didn't go for the TD, but then Urban calling for the victory formation kind of rubbed salt into their devastated psyches.
Well said MN. I would not have minded another TD as this is big boy football and not a Pop Warner game between mismatched opponents. The victory formation did say "we are going to take it easy on you like it was Pop Warner game between mismatched opponents"
Any of you see Luginbill try to defend ESPN's reranking of thier top 300, where they dropped Gee Scott to #200, and 33rd best WR? Because he's 0.08 seconds slower than the kid they have at #3. It's a game for clicks, rankings don't matter on the field, and I love having Gee Scott as a Buckeye, but this defense "but what about this other Buckeye" says it all....
Today is a great example. Your fan based has become enraged about a players ranking, one player and has totally ignored the rise of Jaxon Smith-Njigba who is a great player in his own right. You don't care about that though.
— Tom Luginbill (@TomLuginbill) July 22, 2019
Dude got wrecked on Twitter and kept doubling down. Really made ESPN look even worse, and I wasn't sure that was possible.
I used to think ESPN hated OSU but in recent years it's very clear they like to kick the beehive on everyone to create internet traffic, and it just so happens Buckeye Nation is the biggest beehive. I hate that Gee Scott got his ranking shat on. I dont think any recruit has worked harder this spring and summer than he has. To kids, those rankings do matter. A poor ranking can cost a kid a scholarship to somewhere they really want to go. To us fans they really don't mean squat yet people get mad over them.
As for that Not Sticking to Sports item about the dead body behind the cooler, how in the FUCK do you not smell that going into work? Imagine working for a DECADE not knowing there is a rotting corpse within feet of where you work and eat lunch then suddenly finding out "Hey, there's a dead body behind the cooler."
Tired of hearing about Nebraska like I'm tired of hearing of all these Ohio State upset possibilities being made by every Joe Schmoe in the country. "They don't have Meyer anymore" , "they don't have their first round QB anymore" , "their defense was terrible last year" - always the same.
Also read some prediction on 247 that we'll lose to Northwestern and TTUN this year. As said, all always saying the same thing.
Not a doubt in my mind that those in the locker room are using all this talk as fuel.
Ready for the season to begin, Go Bucks.
"If Chase Young is truly bigger than I think he is and taller than I think he is, he would probably have to be the literal Predator because I've seen him with my own two eyes and I personally think he's pretty damn Sasquatchian." - Kevin Harrish
Particularly since they don't follow that logic for the weasels. They don't have their defense anymore. They don't have their defensive coaches anymore. They had a shitty ground game that doesn't appear to be any better. yet, they're favored over a team that bitchslapped them to a historic loss.
Exactly. I haven't heard any reinforcing reasons as to why it should be TTUN's year, only as to why it will be the year Ohio State loses the game "finally." No consistency across the teams being discussed, just consistent with the same three comments made as to why we will lose "X" game.
Plus, at some point we have to stop calling this an "upset" if pretty much everyone has their eyes on it.
It always gets me too when announcers spend the entire game praising the team for how good they are and then quickly switch to pumping up the potential upset.
The team is either legit and they're doing what they should be OR they are an underachiever and this is a truly something to alert the world of an upset.
"¯\_(ツ)_/¯" - Joey Bosa
Ahhhhh... you know the beginning of college football is near when TTUN gets picked to win everything and their QB is awarded the September Heisman Trophy. Every. Single. Year! They have replaced continually overrated Notre Dame as the most overrated, over-hyped team in the country. The great news about this... ever. single. year, they implode in spectacular fashion and adding a big ass heaping of salt to grind into their crushed souls!
Completely homerized take: Ryan Day and team walk into AA (whore) and drop 80 on this team and swim out on the wave of their fans' tears!!!
Looking at Nebraska's schedule I think they go 7-5 to 5-7 range. They don't have the defense and their QB is at risk of injury every game because of the way he competes.
I think their offense will be better, but how will that defense keep us below 70????
You think their offense will be better.. based on what reasons exactly? Or should I be sensing sarcasm?
They have a lot of starters coming back, especially on the offensive line. However, their running game will still be iffy since they have no good RBs.
We'll see if Harbaugh can keep his hands off and let the new offense be. Of course, it is new, and the players haven't played this style before, so maybe it will be worse???
Hope we win 70-0.
Once again, bringing back a bunch of very average players doesn't mean they'll suddenly be world beaters. Wisconsin was in the top 5 preseason last year following that same logic.
But yes 70-0. let's go
Also, our defense should be much better so they should NOT be able to put up 39 on us.
What if.... Coach Day goes 2-0 ballbuster start against TTUN. What if.... Harbaugh "leaves" after yr 6 to return to the NFL. What if.... They turn the tables and go after Hafley? Would he go? Would we see Transfer Portal get polluted with some of his recruits if he did? They are paying Harb 9-10,000,000, Offer of 5 Mil is savings for them, better Coach and shiv your Rival back. LOCK that Man up with "Brent Venables money" best thing I read today.

If you just look at the opponents on this season's schedule, it looks tough - but by no means overwhelming. It's the way its arranged that has my attention.
Early on, our new QB and the new defensive scheme are likely to experience a few hiccups. I believe Cinci could be a tougher game than many are expecting - so that has me thinking a letdown may be possible the following Saturday at Indiana.
And of course, that four game stretch of Nebraska, Michigan State, Northwestern (with their first 5-star QB in program history) and Wisconsin (the bye aside) looks very tough to me. And even then, The Badgers are followed by Maryland - who gave us all we could handle last year. Fortunately, there's another bye week before that one, though.
I'm with those who are expecting 2019 to be a bit of a down year for Penn State, but they always get up for us. And the schedulers did us no favors by following that up the next week with "The Game" at UM.
Although, I have always believed Harbaugh is highly overrated - and by the time we play them, I think Fields and our offense - and our defense - will be tearing it up. We are more talented than the skunkweasels, Day is considerably sharper than Harbaugh, in my view - and because of the rivalry, there's no way we'll overlook them. It's just a tough last two games.
Don't get me wrong - I'm with Joey Galloway all the way - I'm calling for 12-0 - but this is no cakewalk -
So according to experts apparently we are losing to Cincinnati, Nebraska, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Michigan State, PSU, and Michigan, plus another general loss like we had against Purdue or Iowa. So I guess we should be happy with our upcoming 4-8 season. Because, hey, these experts are experts.
Send the Earth Reverberating
FPI thinks we likely could go 8-4. Apparently losses @Nebraska, @Northwestern, PSU and @TTUN. Whatever algorithm ESECPN uses for that metric is blatantly flawed. Bama and tOSU have had the cheat codes for about the last dozen years, there is no re-building; only re-loading.
We aren't going 8-4, even if Fields breaks his leg in fall camp (knock on wood).
