Glad he came back for 1 more year. Definetely big shoes to fill in the leadership role in the WR room. Make 2019 your best year yet & mentor all the young studs on the Buckeye way. Go get em KJ!

Crazy to say he hasn't been in the spotlight considering the plays he has made. Excited to watch him this year!

“Ohio State has had plenty of great players to come through here, and I just want to be one of those players that will be remembered,” Hill said.

Oh - especially if he sets the all-time school record for receptions while being one of the team leaders on the way to another B1G championship and a return to the NC playoff - he will definitely be remembered.

As Colin mentioned in the piece, we have some questions at the other wr positions,  but I'm very optimistic that the overall talent will win out and it'll be a banner year for our offense -

I'm anxious to see some more of those crazy one-handed grabs, where he doesn't break stride.

I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

He has what it takes to go onto the next level.  Work ethic, attitude, coach ability and of course talent.  By staying he is using a great coaching staff, winning environment and family members (team mates) to learn leadership skills for himself and the younger team/family members. Always a BUCKEYE!

I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box but I'm one of the most colorful.

Personally, I always associate KJ Hill to the group of Terry McLaurin, Johnnie Dixon, and Parris Campbell (regardless of when they came in or left). Rest assured, that will positively be a group of receivers that I refer to for a very long time.

Overshadowed athletically...maybe.

Otherwise I don't think he was overshadowed at all last year. He was my favorite WR and the most reliable on the team.

Here's to his name being in the record books for the next couple of decades as the catches leader of the Buckeyes.

KJ will make Justin Fields an even better QB because throughout his career, he very rarely has dropped a pass even if it wasn't right on target.

His development has been amazing at Ohio State! Speaks volumes about him and Ohio State development.

I was really surprised that KJ Hill came back for his fifth year, but I'm for sure glad he did. The talent at WR is undeniable, but they do need that stabilizing force in the form of a really experienced player who has been a consistent play maker.

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

Mr. Consistent.

I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...

My man, KJ "Golden Hand(s)" Hill!

Am I remembering incorrectly or wasn't Baldwin still here at that point? If so, that's a lot of shade to be throwing at him saying the QB room was empty.

Hill was faced with QB returners in Baldwin/Martell.  Apparently Day felt the same about the room, or he wouldn’t have sought out Fields.  How that move turns out, has yet to be seen (obviously).

Lol, one reporter tried to bait KJ Hill to speak more on that bizarre Arkansas story. Pretty sure the coaching staff told him to put a lid on that based on KJ's response.

Not a fan of these off-topic questions that can get players into trouble. Glad he chose to dodge that one.

Ya I thought the same thing. Badgering by the reporter seemed desperate too.

Nearly a record-setting career with only four starts? That is amazing in itself.

He's clearly an overachiever with a great work ethic and the drive to be a champion. Maybe he will come back in 10 years and be our receivers coach?  Meanwhile we will count on him in 3rd down situations and to keep drives alive. Thanks for coming back, KJ!

I feel KJ and Mack will have a monster season. They bring experience and leadership also.

Here's hoping KJ Hill will at least match last year's totals and become the first Buckeye to pull in over 200 career receptions.  I know he can do it; hopefully Fields and he gel quickly and become a potent combination!

Interesting his comment about there not being any quarterbacks before Field arrived. Baldwin was still there after Tate left and Haskins declared. Definitely a lack of faith in Baldwin.

I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!

HS

I dont think he meant any disrespect to Baldwin. But tbh, hes got to make a decision and if his choice is a QB that might not even start now at TCU or try and go make a paycheck, the choice is clear. Hes going for the pay raise now. Cant blame him

Hill coming back will be huge on the field but I believe his leadership in the WR room will be even bigger.
