I figure this is a long shot but I’d be interested in buying some tickets for the game in Lincoln.
Tickets to this game are already for sale on Ticketmaster. Looks like around $190 per. I went 2 years ago and sat in the 2nd row. It was awesome. You are right on top of the team because there is only a chain fence between the crowd and the players, also we won huge and their fans were leaving at halftime. Arnette gave his gloves to my daughter after the game.
No longer a season ticket holder since I moved overseas, but good idea. I’d like to see true Buckeyes get the tickets as opposed to people who go to 3rd party sites. People overpay and I’ve seen a lot of opponents’ fans get the seats.
If I ever get tickets at face value and cannot attend, I would 1000% sell to a loyal Buckeye fan for the price I paid instead of making a profit or selling it to an opposing fan. Awesome Buckeye fanswho had last second things in the past have done so for me, so I def would do the same.
And we used Venmo so there weren't any of those crazy fees we would both incur had we went the stubhub route,
I would 1000% sell to a loyal Buckeye fan for the price I paid instead of making a profit or selling it to an opposing fan.
This is the way I see it.
Also, if anyone is willing to part with tickets for a good cause, please read my thread here: https://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/ohio-state-football/2019/08/106161/beat-cancer-osu-tix-pelotonia
GO BUCKS! BEAT CANCER (and TTUN)!
I will be on the lookout for a single game ticket, gunning to get to Dubfest this fall (fingers crossed for Nebraska or Wisconsin).
Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.
Just bought 2 tickets for the Wisconsin game. Would be rad if Dubfest was that same game.
Ended up paying $364 for the pair, which was a bit more than I had hoped to pay (tree fiddy).
Should be a good schedule for attending games this year. Sucks when the UM game is away, but the current rotation always leads us to having a better overall home schedule in those years.
Elliott dots the eye, on this national championship win.
I’m interested in those Penn State tickets. PM me please.
Also, I have two tickets to the Cincinnati game up for grabs. 9C Row 39 Seats 39-40. I paid $180 for the pair, I’d like to get that back for them.
11W doesn't have DM capability to my knowledge. Do you have a Bucknuts account or Rivals account where I can reach you?
Email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Life long Buckeye fan forced to live in Michigan, although it has been a great time to be a Buckeye and living here. My daughter is a student at MSU and I am looking for two tickets to the MSU game. If anyone has some please let me know. Ths
I’ve got a soon to be 8 year old who has asked to go to his first game for his birthday...I’ll be looking for a game to take him to, preferably the Miami game, so if you have or know if any available I’d be interested
I got two for Cincy, just asking price.
Thanks for the offer, but we are unavailable for that game....sucks too, will be a good one
Best advice---just keep hunting the ticket outlets for that game. You could also get them reasonable on ticketmaster. OSU ticket office might have them as well. This game is probably the least attractive on our home schedule. So, the demand should be low, And that would be a good thing for you,
This is my first year trying to get tickets through the alumni sale. I am a two time alum and my spouse is an alum as well. The ticket office info says an email would come with instructions on how to purchase but no such email has come (and my spouse and I still use our OSU emails). I tried to call the ticket office and was placed on terminal hold.
Super bummed because I'm trying desperately to get ahold of PSU tix for a 40th birthday surprise. I already took days off work which in my line of work is near impossible and have family all lined up to surprise come as well. Bah.
So is there a donation we need to do as an alum to get into this?
Believe you have to give $75 a year or so to be a sustaining alumni member (but to my knowledge this unlocks the presale a day earlier than the general alumni tix). Easy enough decision for me to give to the Med Center but you can direct your gift into anything you want.
Their is an alumni presale that started this morning, don't have to be in the alumni association. Use code "alumni"
I was trying to buy 4 together for the Penn State game but not many great options were left. Im going to wait it out and try my chances on StubHub
tOSU via LINY
Thank you! Just scored 3 to MIchigan state. Much appreciated.
Varsity O went on sale first. Dues paying (life or sustaining) members of OSUAA went on sale yesterday, non-dues paying alumni (all you others...) today, general public go on sale Friday. As alum believe you're limited to one home B1G game, one non-conference game. General public tix are a land rush......unique codes to unlock the OSUAA sale yesterday were emailed from OSU a few times beginning in June through last week...
I read blitz
Thanks for the info, but to clarify, for non-dues paying alumni, how do you look for tickets today? I see the ticket sale for general public is tomorrow (Friday).
I'm looking to possibly get 3 tickets to a home game, not sure which one (if any) yet.
Offering face value for the tickets does not cover the full price, i.e. fees. IIRC these are in the ten or or percent range?
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
I'll be in Chicago for the NW game and looking for tickets. Anyone have any info on when's the best time to buy away game tickets? I'm guessing prices will probably drop in a month or two.
Fun fact: last game I went to was at MD in 2014, so no pressure on these guys to win it all, haha.
Looking for a pair of Northwestern tickets. 3rd party sites bone you on the service fees. Cost of ticket is reasonable, $45 in fees blows goats
If it makes you feel any better, even the "direct sale" through the Ohio State website hits you with Ticketmaster fees. $24 for the pair.
I am looking for 2 to the Mich St game. TIA
Looking for 3 tickets to the Rutgers game (lol). We live in NY so it's close to home, but tickets are currently going for over $100 each which is too pricey for that matchup ;)
Rutgers website has them starting at $80.
Went to the Rutgers game two years ago. Be sure to hit the bars downtown before the game. Feels like Pappa Joes, Travel Agency, and Oarhouse. Buy the cheapest ticket you can find, because after the first quarter, you can sit anywhere you want! Uber or Lyft to the stadium is a good idea.
I am in need to two tickets to the Penn State game if anyone has any available.
There are several available on Ticketmaster for facevalue
I saw that but wanted to ask here first. Rather give my money to a fellow 11 Warrior.
I have 2 in 28B. Asking $240 each.
Saw a couple cheaper prices elsewhere--will go to $225 each for these (still cheaper than after-fee prices)
Anyone know why tickets for the game at NW are so high? Cheapest seats are 150+ right now. Better off trying to scalp day-of-game?
Maybe wait a month? They were 120-130 in July. I jumped in last week when I saw a pair in the 9th row from the NW bench for 150. Same price as the bad seats, so why not.
Looking for 4 tickets to Northwestern game? Traveling with family from Colorado. 1st and last game traveled with family was OSU vs Clemson 2016 Fiesta Bowl. Family still asks if can go to a OSU game that score points!
What about the Nebraska game? We will definitely score a ton of points in Lincoln.
and Lincoln is closer
Colorado to... well anywhere in the heartland is brutal
I have 3 tickets for the Nebraska game in what I believe is the OSU section (Section 20 row 78). Looking for $220 a piece but I would have to sell all 3 together. Cheapest pair of 3 on stubhub (after fees) right now is about $261 which is my listing.
Looking to take my daughter to her first football game Saturday. Looking for 2 FAU tix! Go Bucks!
ISO 4 for Sparty.
Traveling to Chicago for the NW from lower Alabama. Looking for two tickets.
Looking for a pair for Nebraska.
Tailgate Fare Historical Archive
Selling a pair for Nebraska in what I believe is tOSU section. Section 19 Row 81.
They are listed on stubhub for $290.18 (after fees) right now but I can remove the listing. The cheapest pair in any section on stubhub now is going for $243.05 each, after fee's.
I'm looking for $220 each. We would both benefit from missing the fees.
Thanks, that's a little too rich for my blood.
There are pairs of tickets on Seat Geek for $177/ea (without fees) now. I'm hoping they continue to go down after the loss to Colorado.
Prices are trending downward in Lincoln. Hope they keep going down.
Luckily my extra pair of 3 sold for $300 each about a month ago but it is unfortunate for me that Nebraska lost cause I still have this pair of 2.
I've got my 2 still available and would give them for $150 each. Save both parties on fee's as the cheapest pair on stubhub after fees is $167.29. Again I think these are tOSU section which is a plus.
Sent you an email via the contact link.
I had an old email saved. I emailed you via the link.
Still looking for Miami tickets
Looking for 4-6 tickets for Wisconsin game
Looking for 2 for Maryland game. Taking my 8 year old to his first game at the Shoe. He's got a bad taste in his mouth after we went to the game at Purdue last year...
I have two tickets to Cincy game that I can't use due to son's baseball game. 29A Row 1. Selling for $135 each, which is what I paid. Can meet anytime tomorrow in columbus area. email@example.com
My IU buddy is selling 2 tix and Parking Pass to next week's game in Bloomington. Section 9, Row 16, seats are 8-9 (I think) -- around the 20-25 yardline. Also includes a Parking Pass to the adjacent lot at Assembly Hall.
He's looking for $300 for the whole shootin' match (incl Parking Pass). I'm unable to attend or would use them myself -- good seats; I sat there in 2017 when we played IU.
This is a Noon ET start on Saturday, September 14th.
Feel free to PM me if interested, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
thanks, and Go Bucks!
I understand this is the wrong forum, but didn’t see the need to create a brand new topic just for this question. With the NFL going to 100% mobile ticketing how to you think it’ll effect scalping? I had planned on waiting till just before kickoff to get tickets to get them at the lowest possible price point, but am now wondering if I should just by them ahead of time from Ticketmaster.
I know we are still a 12 days out.. Buckeyeboi31, have you come across any tickets for the Miami (OH) game yet? I too am seeking out a pair myself. If anyone's plans change and they have an extra pair, let me know.
Not yet, will probably buy from tick pick
Thinking about taking my 7 yr old son to the Hoosiers game. Would be my first tOSU away game and my son’s first regular season game. Looks to me like the best seats left at best price are on Indiana side of field. I’ve been to a couple away pro games where you wouldn’t want your 7 yr old sitting with you in enemy territory. I can’t imagine Indiana college football to be that way, but thought I’d check to make sure. Any opinions?

So if anyone has any ideas for anonymity I'm all ears!
Maybe a day late and a dollar short, but you can activate the contact link in your profile, and allow other members to contact you by the email you have associated with 11W. This will not expose your email to anyone.
Bumping this.... Still seeking a pair for Saturday’s game.
And I'm still seeking a pair for Nebraska.
Dang... Wish I’d have gotten four tickets this summer. I have a hookup in Lincoln, I used them in 2017 and sat about 15 rows up on 30 yard line. I enjoyed Lincoln a lot. Probably my favorite road Big Ten experience, I’ve been to six schools so far, Northwestern will be number seven this year. Also seeking a pair to that game as well. I’ll hit up the professor I know in Lincoln and see if I can find a couple for ya.
That would be greatly appreciated!
I have an employee who is a season ticket holder, but their internal ticket exchange is now partnered with Stub Hub, so they add fees. And, he doesn't know anyone selling tickets for that game.
I need a pair for the Penn State game. Actually my buddy who just moved back home, his wife is looking for them to surprise him for his birthday. Need good seats, A or AA deck preferred.
Give me a day or two... I have 4 tickets in 9A Row 15. I know my wife and I are going for sure, my buddy and his wife have been wishy washy... I will give him an ultimatum, either he is in or he's out. FYI, face value on this game is $185 I believe plus tax + fees.
Sold if you'll sell them. They're both middle 40's, I've known them for 25+ years. Super fun couple, nothing crazy to worry about.
I gave him until Saturday to get me the $380... If he does, then he'll be going to the home finally. If I don't have the $380 in my Venmo, they're all yours or should I say your friends. I will let you know.
Good deal, I'll let her know. What part of Columbus are you in?
What's the verdict?
Posted this thread in a different thread but will post it here too. I'll be going to the Northwestern game and am still looking for tickets (I live in Milwaukee so I'll be making the quick trip down). Lowest prices on the third party sites are around 200 but I would like to pay less than that if I can. If anyone has anything available let me know. Go Bucks!
Nice. I am making the not so quick trip up too. We are staying near the Evanston area, but I don't have tickets yet either. I need a pair. I keep thinking the prices are going to drop... But I guess the Buckeyes will keep the demand high given that this game never was available for single game sales, only Northwestern season ticket holders had the opportunity to purchase. I considered buying Northwestern season tickets just for this game. Haha. Maybe I should have.
I know it makes some people nervous, but I’d go to that game without tickets with100% confidence I’m gonna get a better deal day of game than you’ll get from a third party site or an individual selling now. I know some people just can’t do that and that why tickets on third party sites are always high weeks and months before the game.
"You can never pay back, but you can always pay forward."
Yeah... I hear ya. I have scalped at the Browns Titans down in Nashville and had success but Chicago is such a haul for me... I'd like to know where I am sitting and that I have tickets prior to. Plus if I tell the wife we don't have tickets yet I will get a hard push to stay at home and watch the Bucks play from the couch. Haha.
I have 4 tickets to the Miami game. 16B. Tickets were $63 each.
"Put your foot in the ground and go as hard as you can. 4-6 seconds, A to B. Everything you got."
These just sold via Ticketmaster.
I have two tickets together in 6A, Row 17, Seats 16&17 for the night game vs Sparty.
Email me at email@example.com. Price is $550 for both, much lower than anything in this section via Stubhub.
I'm kinda curious what Ticketmaster and the likes charge the sellers to sell their tickets? I notice some of you have a good bit higher price on there than you are offering them for on here. They must make a killing charging the buyer $25-$30 a ticket, plus whatever they are getting out of the seller. Also I have 2 Tickets to the Penn State game in section 18C I may try to move to get myself and my son a little closer to the field. Row 28 Seats 33&34.
I have only sold tickets through Stubhub. They charge the seller a 15% fee and the buyer a 10% fee. They get you coming and going.
When you go through the listing, they will tell you the amount paid to the seller after fees, so you can easily see what you would get as you manipulate the price.
Looking for 3 tickets for Nebraska game. Making the road trip out!
Looking for an RV pass for the Wisconsin game, bringing some friends from Chicago to the Shoe to experience Buckeye gameday.
Looking for 2 tickets for Nebraska game.
Looking for a pair for Wisconsin
Looking for 4 tickets for the OSU MSU game. Please contact me if you have any you'd like to sell.
If you decide to split and go 2 and 2, I have a pair for sale.
I have 6 extra tickets to sell for the Nebraska game. Ordered from Ohio State ticket office so they will be with our fans in the top of the end zone. Willing to split in 2/4 or 2/2/2 if necessary. Only looking to recover cost $135 each ($125 face + $10 "convenience fee" tacked on by Ohio State). PM me if interested.
With the new mobile ticketing policy, does anyone know if a screenshot of a QR code will work for entry into the stadium? I have 2 mobile tickets for the Wisconsin game from a secondary site (Vivid Seats) and may not be able to go now. Because I don't have the originals, I can't transfer them but could text or email a screenshot of each ticket. Thanks!
