Longhorn fans can dish it out, but can’t take the heat.

Sounds like they are just like their coach

as far as hand signs go ... it doesn't get more disrespectful than when the clemson fans tell you the shocker is coming at ya ...

They told him he would play better taking roids and he thought they meant hemorrhoids.

The double bird in AA is one of my favorite moments from Meyer's time in the rivalry. Say what you will about it being a negative reflection of the school or team but that is exactly what Michigan deserved after that shit show, and if you're getting kicked out of your final regular season game it may as well be in a blaze of glory.

Still salty about Dane getting flagged for the "making a sign to the crowd" too.

The O-H-I-O chant in the shit house back in 2015 was pretty fun.

"Because we couldn't go for three."

I am absolutely opposed to the profane and obscene - there used to be a time when if women and kids were present that kind of thing didn't happen.  #stayClassy

But the horns down sign?  C'mon - this is just more hippie nonsense about being triggered.  Is it disrespectful?!  YES IT IS.  BECAUSE WE DON'T LIKE YOU!  You're the opposing team and we want you to know we don't like you.   IT'S CALLED FOOTBALL.

Gimme a break.  And I too live in Texas and it's just a beating sometimes....

Not sure why you think people should behave differently around women than they do around men. Children I can sort of understand.

Personally, I can’t stand when Buckeyes use the terms MeatChicken, State Penn and other childish names to call our opponents. Team up north is fine. But all the others, meh.

MeatChicken always bothered me it just sounds dumb. TTUN actually has a history.

Ya know. I dont like the horns upside down thing, either. It just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Also, wtf is with that Clemson thing? Is it dramatic to say that what he did to JT was sexual assault?

The old Southwest Conference teams all had hand signs: Baylor, Houston, SMU, tu, A&M, Tech, TCU, though I do not remember the  Wooo Pig Sooey Arkansas hand sign.  It was their sign of solidarity by each fan base prior to Walmart issuing cheap university themed swag.  That is why it is taken as a sign of disrespect to invert the horns.  It is probably why the Big 8 (now 12) schools enjoyed mocking them, especially when Oklahoma played Texas every October in Dallas.

Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.

We're well beyond an era when respect had meaning.

At this point, if you aren't offended by the general lack of respect for one another in our daily lives, getting angry about rivalry hand signs is an overreaction.
