I love to see this .... but I hope they don't forget a bruising running game.  I see no signs of that, per se, I just hope that it never happens!

I believe we will be more balanced this  year, but I still see a passing emphasis.

You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!

Hoping to see Bucks average 250 yd rushing and 300+ yds passing.

Our honor defend, so we'll fight to the end !

The passing game is here to stay. It keeps defenders out of the box. Any defense that wants to play 1 safety deep is going to be punished like last year.

But if defenses play 2 deep or 3 deep, we still need to equal or exceed the numbers in the box. That's where Fields' running comes in.

Coach Day and staff are assembling a serious war machine.

The one significant recruiting advantage Riley has over Day at this point is that he has produced the last two #1 overall draft picks. I am cautiously optimistic that Day can produce similar magic while also hanging onto a traditional power ground attack.

I've always thought of Day as a superior QB Guru and play caller than Riley; it's just a matter of catching lightning at the right moment.

A year and a half ago I posted that Day and Grinch were being groomed for head coach and defensive coordinator, well one outa 2 ain’t bad. #tootshisownhorn

Let's not turn into  a Big 12 pass and no defense team.

But got to love the offense recruits being brought

Just imagine... Oklahoma's offense, Clemson's defense.

I just hope we don't forget about the other side of the ball. I've seen plenty of teams that could put a lot of points on the board, but they seldom ever win the big games without a defense capable of shutting down their opponents. As much as I enjoy seeing the Buckeyes put a lot of points on the board, I prefer to see goose eggs on the scoreboard for our opponents.

ITS SO EXCITING!!!  Now all we have to do is keep recruiting top O and D linemen so we don't end up becoming TCU. The offensive philosophy is going to lead us to the CFP, IF we maintain balance and excellence at ALL positions, much as Coach Meyer did during his storied tenure at tOSU.

Well we have the number one OT this year and the #1 SDE in 21 and Ben Christman, who could be a 5 star OT and looking good for #4 DT who could also be a 5 star.  The lines are looking good.

Wow!  And if we can just get a top-notch running back to jump in, look out!  (And what if a certain 5-star corner should reconsider, too?)

As mentioned above, we have some pretty good o-linemen in the pipeline right now - and that's just about perfect -  as I'd rather see these young skill position guys playing behind a veteran line than the other way around.

Day is killing it. My first thought is, he is on fire and is really out to prove himself, coming out of the shadow of the great UFM. My second thought is, who in the %#!# would commit to Itchigam after seeing the army Day is assembling?
