The young man certainly seems to have his head on straight, I wish him well where ever he decides to attend college.

It's great to see Coach Diebler making such an impact already in his short time back home in Ohio.  Keon Johnson is a very skilled athlete and seems to be a very level-headed young man that comes from a strong family.  Let's hope he's a Buckeye.  Go Bucks!

I think he’ll end up choosing Tennessee, but it also sounds like Holtmann and the staff pulled out all the stops. He would be a great addition to this team.

This is definitely where I parked my car.

I think he’ll end up choosing Tennessee,

I agree, this is down to the Vols - and the Cavs, with the Buckeyes finishing third. And I'm good with that - no complaints. The other two are great choices that are pathways to the pros, and if he handles his business, the academics will work out well, too. I appreciate the respect he and his family have shown the Buckeyes, and though I would love to have him, I can easily understand if he opts to got to either of the other two.

It sounds like he’s giving OSU a fair shake. Given Holtmann’s success so far, that’s a good shot.

This young man understands relationships and the importance of relationships in every aspect of life. This is very unusual for a person of that age. There is a Solid Foundation in his life would be my guess.

In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...

Really glad we're getting a chance. He seems like a great young man. A local Volunteers fan told me they already have a 5 star guard.
Our coaches get an A+ for their efforts. Good job.

It's hard to beat locale, but I'm sure it was inadvertently pointed out that barnes flirted with another school last year, and would have gone except for his buyout. H. is a lot younger too. It was probably expressed that H. goal is to play on Mon. night, but he needs young men like you to make that happen. H. team should be extremely good when kj is a frosh.

Hopefully the staff never mentioned Barnes’ flirtation with another school or his age. That is Dabo type of recruiting. Just give the young man all of the positives of attending Ohio State and let the chips fall where they may. Not a big fan of negative recruiting.

I think this would be a huge get for us if we can land him.  It may surprise people, but I think we are still in the mix.  Who knows, i guess we will find out in a month.

Seems like a great kid overall. What might help with his decision is TOSU's agricultural department, one of the best in the country.

Diebler is Holtmann’s Hartline.  He is going to kill it here once he has a chance to recruit for a whole cycle.  Wouldn’t surprise me if he pulled in a couple surprises.

The offseason is the longest season.

Oh man, would really love to see this young man lace up in the Scarlet & Gray. He’s a game-changer. I don’t count this staff out for any prospect.

Reel him in coaches!

Based on these comments and the intimacy of the visit, along with his relationship with Diebler, I like our chances here

Have we always been a dynasty ?
