OK, this is a first. Now what do we have to look forward to the rest of the day? (Maybe some BOOMs?)
My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)
It's not even the first time this week - happened yesterday. But yes, hopefully boomage inbound.
Go Bucks, Deacs, Panthers, Braves
How many are we taking this class? We're already at 15.
Who wants to start the conversation and explanation about the 25 hard cap? /s
You can feed a bobcat all the chili it wants. That don't mean it's going to crap out diamonds.
There was recently an article where they predicted who’d be in the class. They expect 25 but even had 27 on their list.

I am guessing 25...19 seniors leaving + Young + Okudah + maybe Dobbins + a few transfers
Barring some type of major injury, Dobbins isn’t a “maybe”.
My guess is they go over 25, maybe as many as 27. I say so for the following reasons. First, they only have 5 defensive recruits so far, and they still likely will bring in 2 RB's, at least 1 TE, and likely 1 more WR and OL. So assuming that they add a minimum of 5 more on offense, that puts them at 20 with only 5 on defense. I have to think they add at least 5 more, but likely more like 6-7 on D. Plus, one of their recruits is a kicker that I don't believe will end up counting this year. My guess is they bring in 5 more on offense, 6 on D, and 1 athlete, putting them at 27 including the kicker.
The current commits keep recruiting. Show them OHIO is here. GO BUCKS!

I'm under no delusions that we'll flip Ricks, but that would be a hell of a signing day surprise.
It's nice to see the early Hurry Up. I'm guessing Taylor will have an update on the Opening later.
You got it
When I saw LSU under fire, I thought Ricks would be an easy flip to OSU. He's either really good at holding his cards, or he's not been following the news. I'm surprised more players haven't fled LSU yet. Time will tell.

Elias Ricks would be an absolute steal. Really hope the work the Buckeye commits are doing with him pays off!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

These are getting earlier and earlier. I'll look forward to tomorrow's Hurry Up while I'm having breakfast. Hoping this means a BOOM is coming today.
Fields of Dreams
I think they have been early due to the Opening, rather than a Boom coming. I sure hope I'm wrong though
I love Ricks attitude. He sounds like a true competitor. It doesn't sound like we're close to flipping him but I'd love to have him in the class.
Early because they are covering the Opening at night. Then we will get Opening Day 2 write up.
Earliest hurry-up ever! Great job putting out content Taylor.
Wasn’t expecting that 4.53 from Simon. Nice!!!
Don't listen to Freddy P. Soft
nice - looks like Ricks will be visiting us Penn State weekend. Night game perhaps? Should be a good crowd.
Probably 3:30. B1G doesn't do night games in November. It will end with a night game atmosphere, so it will be a good one for Ricks to come see.
i believe the first week in November is okay but beyond that - no dice.
Gotta love the idea that Cavazos is recruiting guys that he would potentially be competing against. Dude wants to win.
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret, take your pick
I thought of that too. Good on him! Shows confidence.
Elias Ricks will be an OSU 2020 commit. The Lejond Cavazos tweet has me extremely optimistic for his flip from LSU.
Top of the food chain
I think the LSU game with Texas will be fairly big in a few recruits minds...IE.. Kellee Ringo, Elias Ricks,
