I knew what first and last place were going to be before even reading this. I think that the 2017 class has a shot at being the best when it's all said and done, though.
Pick up your feet, turn your corners square! And DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!
Theyd have to win a national title first yes. We dont win the title in 2014 without that 2013 class

If Cardale Jones is a two time 3* does that make him a 6*????
Makes him a 12...guage ;)
The QB so nice, we named him twice
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
A class with Dwayne Haskins, Nick Bosa, and Jordan Fuller should be no lower than #4 (to say nothing of the potential that Austin Mack and Binjamin Victor have to create some blow-out stats this year).
When you bring in the best QB in 100+ years of program history and among the top DEs in the same span you have a class to remember for sure.
Always interesting David to look back at classes like this. It truly shows ratings aren’t gospel.

We are loaded to make a run this year with 17 & 18's classes. No excuses. And Bury Mythigan.
Fuck eSECpn and fuck Mythigan.
Really wanted to see Grimes stay. I think he could have been great.....Martell always seemed over rated to me.
Seeing JT in that 2013 class was shocking, felt like he was class of 2011 LOL
That southeast draw sure added to the quality of players. Best recruiter.
One more boom coming by end of day. Enjoy!
You sure it's not Tathen Martell?
The bar has been set and the standard is high. Keep getting in the top 5 recruiting rankings (looking pretty good so far) and the talent and potential (develop that talent) will be there to make runs in December and January. GO BUCKS!
“Being average means you are as close to the bottom as you are to the top.” John Wooden
This list speaks to the recruiting prowess of Ohio State and urban Meyer. I think day is going to take it up a notch.
I dig the article but shouldn't the class rosters be provided? A collapsible field would be neat
That 2013 class was a one for the ages kick ass good... probably the best since the 2002 class... of course I'm going by the results both on the field and in the NFl draft.... should of had a twopeat with that 2013 class...
Not sure I would include Kendall Sheffield in the 2017 recruiting class because he was a transfer. Guess that could be splitting hairs as I would also not include Fields in this past year’s recruiting class.
You count them as they represent new players to the team for that class. But yeah, tomAto, tomAHto.
“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it.” – Theodore Roosevelt
I guess so. I am old school in as much as I count high school kids in our recruiting class and not JUCO players, transfers etc.
I wonder how mad Urban must get when he has to initial official contracts with UM. Sorry I couldn't resist...neg away. Happy 4th of July! :)
Strength equipment is expensive & guarantees you nothing. A strong will is free & will give you everything you need.
No DV necessary, just a NEXT will suffice.
He never did. He used UFM.
Which class was it that didn’t have a guy rated lower than something like 256 in the country. Absurd. I miss that. Stars matter to me, sue me.

2017 and 2018 # 2 Nationally. Lotsa momentum this year.
And followed that up with the supposedly low rated 2019 class that was only low because it was small. Like the 2017 and 2018 classes, it ranks #2 in average player ranking.
You are correct. We have a top 3 class by stars rating I think its 6 years running now.
Btw: No one has explained to me why Bama, GA and LSU all have year over year the most scholys to give. Just doesnt make sense. I know SEC recruits flunk out at a higher rate. But why isnt anyone complaining about every year the SEC schools are always giving more scholys, you would think over 5 years or so, would even out, but it doesnt.
Attrition. If a player doesn’t contribute he is asked to move on or is given a medical disqualification. This happens pretty much everywhere but happens at a higher rate in the SEC.
LOL..... aka FLUNKED OUT!
Great recruiting was always one of my favorite qualities of Urban. It's essential.
Let's do a little more looking forward and a little less looking backwards. The future is very bright.
