Good die, mites, I have not even one "furphy" from down unda, but...
my estimation of Parris Campbell took a big step forward hearing him energize the troops against Michi. Here's to 8 in a row!
Ua Mau ke Ea o ka 'Aina I ka Pono. The life of the land is preserved in righteousness. (Hawai'i state motto) Aloha nui kakou.
So now we have the McDonalds version of furphy which is McMurphy's real name, McFurphy.
Parris Campbell took a big step forward hearing him energize the troops against Michi.
If only he had not been wearing blue when he did it. Still, easily an 8.5/10 on the Coombs scale.
Here's to 8 in a row!
Seriously, so stoked the coaching staff retained coach mick. Cannot overstate his value at this point
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
But, has Coach Mick read "Body by Science" by Dr. McGuff?
I survived Cooper, and I hate Tai Streets.
Isn’t he our WBB coach?

The butt-hurt has to be brutal up north with 1 win and 1 interim win since 2000. I know I was bothered by 2 wins in 13 seasons. Good day, Buckeyes.
Oh , don’t forget , they DID take us to overtime in 2016 - so they have that going for them
Not to mention 2018. It was only a mirage...
I know I was bothered by 2 wins in 13 seasons.
I remember that.
I was bothered by that too.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
I love the intensity former players have still for the rivalry. However Parris should have known better than to be wearing blue shorts. I know its Colts colors, but still not ok.
You're spot on, but I'll forgive him after he vaporized them last season.
Not just Parris wearing blue but the whole time he was talking, I couldn’t stop looking at the guy wearing the blue shirt right in front of the camera and wondering how that was allowed. Urban wouldn’t have permitted it. On the one hand, it seems childish and yet on the other, empires have fallen because their leaders relaxed the standards and stopped paying attention to the traditions and little details that brought them to greatness.
You should hear Josh Perry/his mom
Scarlet lenses glasses or not, it getting real hard not to get very excited about OSU football for 2019.
Pretty much the exact same thing for OSU basketball.
This OSU fan thing sure is fun!!!!!!
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
I'll also take the fall weather
For about 45 days.
Anything but 90 degrees and 80% humidity.
Word on the street is this defensive side of the class for 2020 is gonna look a hell of a lot stronger after the next few weeks. Clark Phillips was the first domino to fall in what should be a big summer!
I almost pity the poor shmucks who just assumed Ryan Day couldn't recruit even half as well as Urban Meyer. It really must be depressing being a skunkweasel and cryin' lion fan right now knowing the domination of Ohio State is showing no signs of easing up!!!!
"No we don't give a da*n 'Bout the whole state of *ichigan"
So now basketball recruiting covers the full K-12 range.
No pressure on that young man and Im sure he must be doing well in school.
And why arent we paying HS athletes????
Re: Budweiser “Bitter Brew” was n excellent book at their rise and fall. They burned a lot of people during their reign, and I didn’t quite feel bad for them when they were taken over. As. Busch Gardens fan, it did suck a little.
Augie Busch IV is a piece of work. Unfortunately, it’s what often happens to family-owned businesses, usually by the third generation: the founder works hard to get it started, the children witness and appreciate the drive and sacrifice and emulate those qualities as they push the business upward, but then the grandchildren raised in the lap of luxury and take it all for granted and are unprepared to sustain it. I’ve seen it happen with friends, with my wife’s family’s business, a thriving manufacturers rep company that went under within a few years after her father, the second generation, was forced into retirement by her oldest brother, who wanted to be in charge but didn’t have a salesman’s drive and personality.
I'd say III was far worse for the business than IV. First, he led a BOD revolt to oust his father from control of the company. Then, after he had retired as President, but was still on the board, he single handedly killed the Groupo Modelo deal that could have saved AB from being swallowed by InBev. Not to mention the fact that he turned down the option to buy/partner with the two companies that merged to form AmBev before they became a giant.
There was definitely a change in the parks once that went through. The speculation of closure vs being bought out by another company. At one point, it was rumored that Disney was going to buy BG. I'm glad it all settled out, because it is a beautiful park, and affordable.
I believe the saying is,.
The first generation build's it.
The second generation maintains it.
And the third generation will lose it!
Happens quite often.
I sold my business in part because of this reasoning.
The third generation doesn't understand the sacrifices it takes to keep a business going!
It was my goal for a bit once I got into my current job to eventually start a company doing defense contract work. After a few months, I've decided it's easier to work my way up, save money and bounce when I'm ready.
So in other words, I don't blame you,
When i was stationed in the Tidewater area we got seasons passes with parking for less than a day pass after the military discount and what our rec fund chipped in. You could run to BG, ride the coaster, do the short tour of the brewery (straight to the tasting room) and go back to the park. Lather, rinse, repeat.

How many of us knew that jelly fish could possibly be as useful as the link tells us, from medicinal uses to food? Sure, why not.
Nicely done by Parris. Be certain that all the newbies understand fully that they need to keep the run going. Good way to start the week by watching that clip.

Feel good about Ohio State closing the offseason strong on the recruiting front. Pair that with what should be an interesting camp and I think the Buckeyes enter the season ready to roll.
Got M...igan gossip? Bang it here.
Mark Pantoni sure ain't bad either, as evidenced by the two commits this weekend and the half dozen that are going to commit sooner than later.
As vital as Marotti is, at least Pantoni got a bone thrown his way - dare I say he’s every bit as important, if not more. Either way, getting a commit from the likes of Phillips is huge for the D side.

Never take your focus off of the rivalry, but carefully balance it with the fact that they are not the barometer. Beat them, respect them, but don’t compare yourself to them. I fear sometimes that Michigan doesn’t prepare us for the Clemsons and Alabamas of the world. Good thing there is usually 4-5 weeks to refocus here. It’s a goal, the major milestone along the way, but not the ultimate goal.
Great though to see that although we’ve dominated recently, we still have our eye on the ball. We still have motivators. Don’t be that team to break the streak (7-0 right now). Also the overall record we are still chasing from all their pre-WWI wins.
Parris definitely gets it and he is passing that on to the next generation. Continue the dominance.
Keep it going, Parris. BTW, he was featured on SportsCenter this morning as an impact player this year. Also, that little guy could probably take me off the dribble. Good thing he's not a football player or Harbaugh would be reaching out to his parents about sleeping over.
I really liked Parris Campbell before today, but I like him even more after that video.

In the future, if 11W is going to prognosticate 5.5+ commitments in a single weekend, I'd appreciate it if they would do us the courtesy of explaining how many of those will be silent commits. Seems haughty to just say, "take our word for it."

It's a sunny Monday morning and I have to agree with Parris Campbell; michigan still sucks; always will.
The only hard day was yesterday

Man, that article about the asteroid sounds like it would make a really good plot for a movie.
Here's hoping it remains a work of fiction.
Good for Coach Mick. He is the real glue guy when it comes to developing talent.
"Making the Great State of Ohio Proud!" UFM
Mick Marotti put the Bucks through a very intense “The Team Up North Workout” that was very high energy and loud, and meant to get the team ready to beat xichigan. The recruits on official visits over the weekend watched this workout together as a group. ALL together as loud as you can give us a, *8-0 !
Buck's Bash & Barbecue, Sawyer seemed to be the ultimate Litmus Test to see how the Buckeyes did.
“It was great,” Sawyer told 11W. “We played a bunch of fun games, had some great food and got some position instruction time. It was an amazing day.”
Sawyer went into the event wanting to recruit hard for the Buckeyes, with recruits from his own class – such as Tunmise Adeleye, Hunter Washington and Ben Christman – making the trip. When asked if he felt the staff achieved its goal of setting a foundation for the five-star commit’s class, Sawyer said, “For sure. That’s exactly what they did.”
Ohio State had two of its best commit-recruiters at the event in '20 cornerback Lejond Cavazos and Sawyer.
(And sad to say the 614 probably will come to expect UFM'$ 1st 2 12-0 inaugural sparklers for Day to match or exceed; a Natty close behind; & the Urban Flipping Meyer cruiting wizardry to be the norm for HC Day: & to get more than 2 top 100's this past wknd.) Watch, the wknd's not over.
But this off-season has been priming this homr's expectations...for the field of dreams change of command to keep the 7-0 Owning...thee Tradition.
Go Bucks, slam a 62-39 in the skunk house.
McMutt ....what a worthless human being who has ruined his own credibility.
Love the former Bucks preaching the skunk weasel domination early to the recruits. Teach those that come on board to take care of business when here and instilling the drive to not let off the gas pedal.
Enjoying daily the 62-39 ttun beatdown.
You can't go telling everyone what a huge recruiting weekend this is abd set the over under on commitments at 5.5, and then when that doesn't materialize tell everyone more is coming and then tell people are really into this stuff to not get worked up and trust me, more are coming.
Why not? The reasonable readers realize “big recruiting weekend” doesn’t necessarily mean commitments the day or weekend of. “Big weekend” means a lot of Important targets attended and were convinced to commit; regardless of timing.
