That just never gets old. Hopefully, that will be the Championship dance.
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
At least one more boom today right?
Mr. Henry, come on down!
Nice, I do think that in college he might have to transition to either Safety (his size) , Bullet or ILB , unless OSU finds a possible Lavonte David clone
Why ILB? Aren’t inside backers traditionally bigger?
In recent memory the new age ILB are 5’11-6’1 , a weigh anywhere between 215-235 , the game is changing rapidly
This kid is very similar to Daron Lee, Lee who in the recruiting sites was listed at 6' 3" 208 was listed for the Jets as 6' 1" 218.
Their games are very similar.
Good get and looking better on the defensive side. Still a lot of work to do.
It seems to me ILBs need to be larger to take on linemen to fill holes in between the tackles. OLBs need to be faster, and therefore usually smaller, to play in space. Borland is undersized, but the other two ILBs that come to mind are Mitchell and Browning and they’re both 6’2”/3” and 240+ pounds.
He runs well and can tackle. That’s exactly what you want out of your outside backers. As for the shift to smaller guys inside, I’m not sure where you’re seeing that. Sure, some guys end up playing in the middle that are undersized, but I don’t think that’s because of any shift in philosophy.

Hawaii to New Jersey and beyond, there is nowhere, even Wishigan's own backyard, that the Buckeye pipeline cannot poach elite talent. The golden era continues. Big Boom!
Keep football fun
BOOM!! Yes now come on down Henry let’s cap this Saturday off! Really like this young mans film. Go Bucks
I am a Michigan booster bud....just spent $182 bucks at Wal-Mart this morning.
Did you see _ichigan got like 14 commitments today and moved ahead of us in the team ra...
Oops. Never mind. Thanks Cody. You've been a Buckeye for 5 seconds and helped restore order.
Had to put my dog down today and I have cried like a baby. This brings a little smile. Welcome Mr. Simon!
Sorry to read that, Snoo. Making the hard choice for the furry family members hurts a ton, no matter how much relief it brings them. Hope there are better days ahead for you and your family. Go Bucks.
My heartfelt condolences! To some, our furry family members are our children. I don’t have any children (that I know of) and my brother doesn’t either. Unfortunately all my dads brothers had girls, hence the family name comes to an end upon our death.
Some think it’s silly to be so attached to our furry family members. I can tell you I spent hours bawling like a baby after our last loss. Mourn for awhile, after that it’s time for the next family member to arrive.
Sorry got off topic. BOOM!
West Palm Buckeye
It's not silly at all, .Palm Beach. The furry ones are a big part of our lives, in least in my family, and they always have been. While I've been fortunate enough to have two awesome boys, my cats have always been the first ones to say "Hi" every morning and meet me at the front door when I come home at night. I dread the day when they won't be here.
I volunteer in a shelter here in Raleigh, our furry buddies need homes, glad we get owners like you guys. I train the ones with those needing behavioral help, they ask me to help and I agreed with one condition, I get to name the dog, just started naming them after Buckeyes, got one assigned yesterday, should we go with Simon, Cody or Henry? Give me a vote guys, last dog got named Ballard
With all due respect to dog owners who favor specific breeds, I'll always go the shelter route when getting a new dog. I've got a 15-year old border collie mix rescue now who doesn't look like he's going away anytime soon.
Can't wait till you find a home for Bijan the Bichon!
I vote Simon, because that's just a cool name for a dog or cat. And good on you for volunteering at a shelter. All of our cats have been rescues, and they're wonderful companions.
Welcome to Buckeye nation! With his speed and receiver background he would make an elite safety. Imagine him in open field, similar to Malik hooker.
He will play LB at Ohio State and remember Marcus Hooker is a RS Freshman and I think will play safety soon.
A defensive guy...Yeah!!!
Fields of Dreams
Boooom, gotta like it. Welcome aboard!
Saturday BOOM! Nice!
Welcome to LBU.

Make preparations in advance. You never have trouble if you are prepared for it.
BOOM! Cody Simon is yet another great addition to the class of 2020. Go Bucks!
Simon says touch your nose.
Simon says touch your toes.
Simon says we're goin' to the Rose
The CFP game in the Rose Bowl.
This maybe crazy but he didn't want to play with his brother at ND and have his own path. Maybe his brother not happy at ND or just wants what he mentioned. Makes is hard on family kids at two different big time programd but I big relief for the check book though.
ND is stocked at LB from the last two classes; I think they're only taking one this cycle.
