Happy Father’s Day Buckeye fans!
“Megadeth >>> Metallica” - Alum 2019. I couldn’t agree more.
I can hit the PBR and throw out some bad jokes, can't rock socks with sandals tho...two out of three ain't bad.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dubber Dad's out there, enjoy the day.
Hindsight is, and in, 2020
Hove, have you even tried socks with sandals? OK, me neither.
Happy Father's Day everyone!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
If you haven’t done socks and sandals, you’re missing out.

No thanks Fatpants. I live in Florida and socks n sandals are a mainstay down here. Just as bad are dress shirts tucked into funky plaid shorts with a black dress belt.
Flip flops and tank tops for me. Happy Fathers Day.
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes

Earle for MOD in 16', it'll be the last best thing to ever happen to him.
My 8 year old daughter is the joy of my life. Happy Father’s Day, everyone.
Happy father’s day.
Go thank your dad. The act that brought you into this world was probably his idea.
You’re a gem, FP. Thanks to your dad especially.
Because mom probably wasn't in the mood...

Happy Father's Day gentlemen!!! Wishing you all the best for an enjoyable and relaxing - VERY WELL DESERVED - day for all of us underappreciated men. Not sure when it happened but somehow we're under attack by mainstream America; screw that - without us what do you have? NOTHING. Recent ads from morons like Gillette (e.g. Toxic Masculinity) and others - GFY to anyone that thinks that the world is a better place without masculine men in it... gents, teach your boys to become MEN and teach your daughters to be respected and to respect their men. leaving this here in case anyone wants to read a good article. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/the-future-of-men-and-marriage-is-bleak?fbclid=IwAR0yz36Qd4iC9pnRqdFVBrtstIbKoCPTaDFzAIncti0ySLEwrF24oMHIB44
Sorry; end rant...
Side note; I get spoiled twice per year - U.S. and Italy do it on different days so I get both. :-)
Great post, and I agree!! Happy Father's Day men!!
Thanks. Just feel that this is certainly something worth fighting for.
Buona festa del papa ! Happy Fathers Day in Italian ( I think).
Who are some of the worst fathers on TV and in the movies? I know this is a click-bait type article, but there are some interesting guys on the list. It starts with Homer Simpson, and includes Tywin Lannister and Darth Vader. So, click if you want, or not.
Any other bad television/movie dads you can think of?
Sorry but there are a LOT of bad fathers out there. It takes a lot to commit to being a parent and sadly all one has to do is go to the local mall, restaurant, etc. to see how shitty most people actually are with their kids = hello..... take your damn head out of your facebook, twitter, online, etc. experience to actually live in the NOW called "your family" and "your kids are watching your every move". Too many have more time with people they've never met online than they do with their own kids. DISCONNECT.
Il Padrino, sorry if I hit a sour note, but I was thinking about fictional bad dads that usually get a laugh or two, i.e. Homer Simpson. I grew up under the thumb of a very abusive step-father. The main thing I remember from him is how not to act, etc. I had few options as long as he was married to my mom, but once she passed away, I turned my back on him and have not looked back.
No no - I get it. Sorry, just trying to add a reminder to folks that our kids watch EVERYTHING. So many absent parents these days that every minute is so critical and we can make an enormous difference if we connect and stay connected to the little people in our lives. Our legacy is not our online footprint... it is made via those little feet that are following us.
Our legacy is not our online footprint... it is made via those little feet that are following us.
Truer words have never been typed. More folks need to understand that.
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I have also turned my back on my Dad as well. He's a 79 year old asshole that has never learned how to show true love to his two youngest sons... the oldest gets it all and frankly is quite undeserving of anything (my older brother = King Piece of Shit). The ass has stolen over $1M from the family and yet he is the Queen (yes, gay as well) of all so needless to say it's just my little bro and I against the world and to hell with the rest of them. You're not alone.
Just to be clear, it was my step dad who was the abusive one. Even thinking about him as I type is giving him too much recognition. My father, OTOH, was 15 when he joined the USMC in WWII. Celebrated (?) his 16th birthday on Guadalcanal. Came out of the war with an alcohol problem that plagued him for years. Was able to control it in the late 60s and reached back out to me in the early 70s. Sadly, he was killed by a distracted driver in 1985.
Respect. Sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad - what an amazing story about WW II. Impressive. I know all too well the issues that plague military folks (e.g. drinking, PTSD, etc.) and unfortunately it has only been in recent years have we started to better understand what war does to people. Used to be called "shell shock" and other things but true studies were rare. Now the number of PTSD issues being discovered are nothing short of alarming.
Copy about a-hole step-Dad. Another point I can fully understand because I had one of those as well... ugh.
All the best to you!!!
May we all learn from their mistakes!
My daughter at college sent me an audio file with several stories of things that I did that she is grateful for. I am a lucky dad. I hope all you fathers, sons and daughters tell your family how much you love them and why they are so important in your life.
Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.
Happy Father’s Day all. My 8yr old told me a dad joke last night. It’s scary how much she acts like me.
Why don’t you give Elsa a balloon?
Because she’ll just let it go.
Texting this out right now.
Ha ha! That one is a keeper
IT. WAS. A. FUMBLE.
We had our newest addition (Grandson #3 Henry) baptized today. Followed by family cookout where I didn't have to do a damn thing.
And Younger daughter gave me this for Father's day:
Ako ne možete postavljati bez gluposti ... nemojte
Ako vièeš na suce, ti si šupak
For what it's worth, with the Pterdactyl toenail i inheirited from a fan falling on my foot, I always rock white ankle socks (never black) with my sandals. It keeps the peace in the neighborhood.
Your willingness to sacrifice style points in order to keep from scaring the children of the neighborhood is commendable! +1
Taking styling tips from Coach Hairball I see... you sir are on notice. :-)
Hairball took his style points from ME. I was rocking those bad boys when he was still a D3 coach.
