Can't help but think that Royer commits.

I think any minute to be honest unless they told him to wait.

Going to brag a little but these 40 times don't excite me much and coach Cooper would love this white boy. I ran a PB 10.1 hundred in high school yards not meters. My point being is there is not a lot of difference between 4.3 or a 4.6 and even less important on a football field. Offense has a huge advantage any way because they know were their going while the defense reacts after a cut. Don't get me wrong no one will catch these cats from behind but not a huge deal. Toting a football slows you down too.

I pretty strongly disagree with this. I'd argue it's far more important on a football field, where one step is the difference between being tackled and scoring a TD. Case in point, there's a reason you see Paris Campbell taking jet sweeps to the house and not KJ Hill. The difference between 4.6 and 4.3 is an 8 yard gain vs an 80 yard TD. 4.3 speed can turn the corner and outrun an angle. 4.6 barely gets to the corner and gets tackled by the safety.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with the point you make, but one thing stuck out to me in your comments:

Honestly, I can’t remember the last time a jet sweep worked at all - forget about taking one to the house!  Most of the time our sweeps are stopped for a loss or gain just a few yards. The jet sweep’s “big play” success was primarily during the first couple years under Meyer, but the last few years it lived on the reputation of its past.  You may be able to point to OL talent or blocking schemes, and I don’t know the reasons, but the sweep play hasn’t really worked that well in quite a while.

Campbell took one to the house against Michigan this year (yes a pop pass and a jet sweep are the same thing), and we had at least 5 or 6 TDs this season near the goal line with that play.
