Good luck to him.
You're either at the table, or on the menu!!
Bye bye, good luck, LOL.

Was it a matter of him leaving us, or us moving on quickly after he paused?
He decommitted then we moved on and never pursued him. With Colorado as the choice, schools must have not have had him highly rated.
Yup. The Wray's story is kind of fishy, getting "removed" from his High School program and then the decommittment. Probably all for the best.
Painless pick. Hope Wrays happy and successful.
" It's real good whatcha done Anthony, real good ! "
Not that it really means much, but he’s really fallen off in the recruiting rankings since he decommited
So... does the brother xfer?
Because the ncaa gives out immediate eligibility and he might want to play with brother. Or his brother told him to decommit because he wasn't happy here. It just seems odd to decommit from the school your brother is at citing the coaching change.
He’s been on campus one year
So... does the brother xfer?
My first thought as well. we will see.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
Very often older brothers chase after their little brothers.
Good luck to the kid.
Another reminder why commitments 1.5 or 2 years out don't mean squat either way, player or school. Colorado? Okey doke. Whatever makes one happy.
Mel Tucker (former Ohio St coach and UGA DC) is selling the program well. This is a good pick up for him.
"Come on, you sons of b!tches! Do you want to live forever?" -- Dan Daly, WWI
Good for him. Colorado is an up and coming program. Jake will be able to help.
"up and coming" is just code for "not very good.. yet." I never understood wanting to gamble your only 3-4 years in school on a program that may or may not ever get any better.
Not to be argumentative Extra, but Colorado does put players into the NFL, and for offensive lineman, being able to play/start for 3 years at Colorado may be better for him and his future pro prospects than waiting in line at OSU for a year of quality playing time for scouts to review. Playing is better experience than watching from the sidelines (yes I know OSU has a quality program, but let's not discount other programs)
Cool, he can bookend with Jake Moretti.
You can either join us or lose to us. I think he found a loophole. What are the chances tOSU ever plays in the Redbox Bowl?
With how big of a joke the PAC 12 has become, I wouldn’t count out losing to us in the Rose Bowl if we don’t make the CFP.
According to a few 11W writers, there's a very real chance we lose 3 games.this season. I feel like I read/hear that at least once per week
No F' ing way. I'm going on record. We run the regular season. After that,....?
Enjoy the wins over *ichigan, ....I still remember the dark days of the 1990's....
We go 12-0? Like the last 5-6 seasons??
How many teams run the table in any given year? One?
I haven’t said that, because I’m high as a motherfucking kite on Day, but 3 losses certainly isn’t out of the realm of possibility based on the way the back of the schedule shook out.
Jake got bad advice from auntie Faye.
So go, go if you must; but please say nice things about us...
Neil Armstrong lied to me...
He gone, Boss.
He decided to de-commit because Urban retired and I guess he felt that Coach Day didn't have as big an aura about him to stay, so he's moved on to a team that's coached by someone of Urban's stature as a HC ??
Maybe it's because the Buffs alumni have such an enormous and influential aura across the country that he felt his interests after football will be protected after hearing about their new, "Happy-happy, joy-joy Tuesdays" program ???
Regardless, hope the kid looks back fondly on his years of college football, with no regrets of what could have been .... besides, what would he do with all those gold pants and championship rings ???
"what would he do with all those gold pants and championship rings"
I hear you can sell them. Too soon?
"We gotta go win this next game and make the State of Ohio proud!"-UFM
As a native of Columbus and a University of Colorado graduate, I would not trade my college years there for anything. Beautiful campus, beautiful state, and beautiful coeds.
Having said that, I would skip the football games if they conflicted with OSU games that were being shown on TV.....
glad this little drama is finally over. no more updates on this guy please. we have a stable full of buckeyes eager to compete...let's talk about them instead. let's go bucks!
TkeBuck, I understand you may not want to read articles on ex buckeye commits. However, it is the summer and slow news for college football. I don't mind seeing any articles on college football. If I am not interested in the topic in the headline, I don't read the article (let alone take time to post how I didn't want to read the article I just read. :)
I had kind of forgotten about him. Too bad the brother act didn't get to happen. Maybe he wants to forge his own path.

Good pickup for 'the Buffs'...
Congrats to Jake!
16-2 is SWEET!
Colorado doesn't seem like a bad choice for a place to hang out for 4 years. Good luck young man.
Haven't really followed this story line much...so who was the higher rated recruit / potential best FBS lineman, coming out of high school, Max or Jake?
Max was ranked the 121st best prospect in his class according to the 247 composite. Jake is currently ranked 311 and dropping.
The current Buckeye staff likely moved on from him after he decommitted anyway.
“Being average means you are as close to the bottom as you are to the top.” John Wooden
Not likely. They did.
I lived in Boulder for a few years....great weather and many gorgeous women...good luck to you!
Onward and upward! Go Buckeyes!
many gorgeous women
Sure, if you like hippy, hairy feminists lol.
It’s a beautiful location. The school is on the edge of the mountains in Boulder. I understand why people go to school there. Good luck.
Let’s find 1 or 2 more lineman and move on.
Hey, it is what it is. Good luck to the kid, and we're onto the next guy.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Go West young man!
Hey, Colorado is cool. Get a good education, enjoy the Rockies for four years.
There are worse places to go. Good luck Jake!
I lived in Montana, the U.S.A.F...hated me...it was punishment...very cold place...so why Colorado...if you like freezing cold, snow is measured in feet, and whirling sleet...that feels like darts hitting your face...then I see why you picked Colorado...Good Luck...buy some good insulated boots.Go Bucks
Oh sure, come summer, he'll miss the mosquitoes in Ohio. And humidity.
He's from Georgia.
Ignorance isn't bliss for the rest of us.
Never have missed those hot humid Ohio summers once since relocating out to the Denver area. And trading a wet mild gloomy winter for a colder yet usually clearer winter was alright.
Blessed to be a Buckeye
Best of luck to the younger Wray brother.
Hope he finds all that he is looking for an enjoys much success.
"Defiance in Silence"
Big fish, small pond. Hopefully he is happy with his choices.
my ex went to school there. gorgeous place. lotta white folk.
lotta white folk
Get this guy outta here mods
Cant agree more. I rarely downvote, but brah gets 90% of 'em.
Whats wrong with the brahbservation? It’s the least diverse place I’ve ever witnessed! Kid is clearly happy in the mountains
So you scrolled right past the hairy feminist comment, but decided to comment on this one?
Totally. Liking feminists and/or being one is apparently both an ok and bad thing.
Let him become the next David Bahktiari.
Clown meet ass..........
I read blitz
Why should we here at Eleven Warriors even care about him? Why does Eleven Warriors waste its time and space by following kids who decommit from The Ohio State University?
Because his brother plays for Ohio State and Jake was committed here so some people may want to know where he ended up. You could have moved on to another article in the time it took you to post about why you didn't want to read this one. There are plenty of other articles and forum topics to browse.
I just don't care about guys who do this, period. And I read other stories on this web site, too. Who the heck do you think you are by blowing smoke at me?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
I'm on this site every day and this is maybe the third time I've seen him mentioned since his decommit.
I read and heard that it was a blessing Jake decommitted from OSU. The so called experts say very over rated. I feel for the parents on Saturday and buying two sets of gear. BUFF & BUCK
Seems kind of weird in some ways. I wonder what the rest of the story is behind all this; if there is a rest of the story.
