NFL Mock Draft Roundup: Nick Bosa Viewed As Consensus No. 2 Overall Pick, But Projections Vary for Dwayne Haskins, Other Ohio State Prospects

I still think there is no way Haskins gets past 12. If any team in the bottom half of the first round has Haskins on their list, they are trading up if he is on the board. Anyone who thinks he might be the future QB1 is going to offer a 2nd or 3rd rounder (and a flopped 1st) to move up. It's not like the Chargers are going to sit there hoping he drops to 28 if they want him.

How nice for Nick to go to the 49ers If that happens. Joey in San Diego and family on the west coast, man that would be pretty sweet.

The Chargers are in LA, even closer up I5.

Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

Is there any way to ban someone from 11W for paying for ESPN+ just for Kiper's and McShay's complete draft predictions?

Lots of fluctuation in several of these projections. The draft can be quite unpredictable. We shall see. Will Titans fans go boo-bird crazy like Jets fans used to?

A four-round spread of opinions on McLaurin is pretty remarkable.

I think Kiper’s pick is more about his shock value, then any consensus among the powers that be.

However, it would be nice to see McLaurin go in the 2nd round, 3rd at the latest; as an all around football player and WR, I’d say he has that kind of value.

I suspect that wherever he lands, he’ll do well with considerably more opportunity then he had in Meyer’s “spread” offense.

Kliff Kingsbury will be the worst hire in NFL history and it starts with him drafting Murray and passing on Bosa. When we look back at his Marc Trestman-like tenure in Arizona, that will be the first of many, many terrible decisions people will point to.

He'll simultaneously decimate Josh Rosen's trade value since teams won't pay much for something they know you want to unload.

And if the New York Giants pick any other QB but Haskins, then they get whatever is coming to them. I said months ago teams would talk themselves out of Dwayne because of some stupid reason or another and it appears to be happening. The Bengals could be the big winners if the G-Men talk themself out of Simba.

Can you honestly blame him? He knows he has a two-year window at best to be a HC in the NFL, if he goes down he's going down with the QB he chose. He's an offensive coach.. he needs a QB. It's not his fault the Cardinals hired him.

Blame him for taking Murray? Yes. If you want a QB, get a better one. There is one right there for you. There is also a better one on your roster.

I would be good if Bosa lands in SF. :)

I know as far a Buckeye fans are concerned, Bosa and Haskins are the shining lights in the draft.  I love both of them as well.  I am going to throw my 2 cents in and suggest another Buckeye who could be the dark horse of the Ohio State players picked.  And that is Dre"mont Jones!.  This guy seemed like he improved every game he played.  Wherever he goes, some team is going to land one great football player.  GO BUCKS!

I honestly look for my Bengals to screw themselves in this year's draft.. Haskins in cincy, throwing to Green/Boyd would be a great combination!

Please let Dwayne fall to the Bengals.  Please please please...

What if Haskins was to fall to the Bengals and they STILL didn’t select them?  How would you feel about the Team & it’s Leadership?

HS
Buck298's picture

I’ve been a Bengals fan since the team was founded in 1968. No matter what the leadership does, i can’t imagine I could possibly feel lower about their team management than I do now. It’s like Mike Brown goes out of his way to try to sink the team lower every year.

So I would love to see Haskins in Cincy, I know it would lead to his professional death if he was there.

I wonder if Jordan and Weber are wondering about their decision, especially Weber with a sixth round average.

I can’t believe the NFL would be stupid enough to allow Haskins to fall to 28... that is insane

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
