Good. Taking up space rent free in some TTUN domes.
"We're going to try to make sure that scoreboard never looks like it did last year," Partridge said.
How did that approach work out for you last November?

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
It must Suck to be him ....
High school coach with some croots.
Funny coming from a guy who is only coaching at the college level because he coached Peppers and Gary in high school so Harbaugh hired him to get those two.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
Seems that plug of goo in his jowl might be causing a bitter taste. My Gramps chewed Redman his entire adult life, he's been dead since 2002 and I'd still bet he would whip Chris Partridge's ass.
He has man boobs. I’m thinking about photoshopping his head on Meatloaf’s and Harbaugh’s on Ed Norton.

Dumbass sounds like Kyle Kalis lmao

Class of 2010.
Didn't realize his Safeties showed up to that game last year.
Oh they did, one of them was the guy fading off the right of the TV screen as Campbell ran a jet sweep to the house, leaving everyone behind him, remember?
So they were present, at least...
True story: I served ribs to John Cooper.
They needed witnesses to the massacre of their defensive backfield.
You’re right, the score board won’t read 62-39 next year. I’m thinking something more along the lines of 69-0....
They better beat Army first!

Those dudes sure are cocky for a team that loses every single time. Good grief. Shut up already. Win one and then you can talk.
While that is typically solid advice, it's not necessarily correct if you never expect to actually win!
In that case there's no down side to yapping all the time. Because you can't really yap immediately after the next game.
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Win one and then you can talk.

Either you guys are young or you're pretty good at forgetting history. I remember the Cooper yrs vividly and it still pisses me off. So much wasted talent not to mention losing out on a couple National Championship oppertunities
Still pisses me off as well.
In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...
I lived through those years, but don't get your point. Are you saying we can't enjoy this because of those years?
He is stating we were the ones always saying "We will get'em next year!"
I still have deep scars from The Game during the Cooper era... I attended every single one of them in person. It SUCKED more than I can describe to be in that horrid, smelly, monstrosity of a stadium in that whore city watching your heavily favored team get slapped around by those ugly helmet wearing f@#$tards...
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
I enjoyed how the first Revenge Tour ended. I hope they go on tour again.
There's still almost eight months until next season's game, but it's pretty clear that bitterness is going to fester until the Buckeyes make the trip to Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines will have revenge on their minds.
Don't they always have revenge on their minds? If they don’t, they should.
They need to STOP TALKING about next year and just DO IT NEXT YEAR INSTEAD if they feel they can. What will they say after another trashing in 2019? Boy, I have harder, bigger badder feelings than I did last year and so on and so on and so on. After so much of it there is no point and it becomes comical. Put Partridge's coaching history against Mattison's if you want a real laugh.
That's what they have been saying every year. None of it has worked. AA is for arrogant @ssholes - they don't seem to understand that lip service isn't the same as work ethic or execution. We beat M!ch!g@n every day in practice, and in the film and weight rooms. They seem more concerned with winning the pressers.
Wolverines will have revenge on their minds.
Didn't they get the memo, The Revenge Tour was cancelled bitc#e$!!
HAHAHAHA!!! Wolverine tears are the saltiest.
Whatever it takes, my dude.
Make preparations in advance. You never have trouble if you are prepared for it.
He's upset with the coaches who left for OSU but I'm sure he remembers where Bo Schembechler came from.
He's upset with the coaches who left for OSU
One wonders if Partridge may have been one of the reasons they left.
but I'm sure he remembers where Bo Schembechler came from.
Could be. Or it could be selective memory. Like forgetting that your players didn't execute better than they did.
Our honor defend, so we'll fight to the end !
he's pretty f'ing far from OK.

How’s that working out for ya?
What's his adjusted ranking when you don't count players from his HS?
Still pretty good. He also brought in Dax Hill, Chris Hinton, Cesar Ruiz, and Aubrey Solomon.
Maine, still a punk move to trash other coaches for pursuing better jobs. A good leader/coach/friend would be happy for former colleagues pursuing what's best for themselves and their families. This dude's a whiner whose secondary got scorched for 396 yards and 6 TDs in The Game. And that video sure as heck won't help him on the recruiting trail.

I don't know it I'd say he's trashing him. What Mattison did was unprecidented so it probably does warrant some criticism. I'm personally happy for him if that's what he wanted to do. I wouldn't criticism him for it, but we don't know the circumstances. Maybe Mattison was mentor to him and he never said goodbye or something and he's hurt, who knows.
This dude's a whiner whose secondary got scorched for 396 yards and 6 TDs in The Game
He coaches special teams
And that video sure as heck won't help him on the recruiting trail.
lol it's not a video. It's a link to 247 rankings of the top 50 recruiters.
Maine, you may wish to research your team a bit better. The teary-eyed, wound-licking assistant referred to in the article also coaches safeties. If you need help identifying them, they're the slow guys in the back end of your defense that Paris Campbell and Chris Olave ran right past on their way to the end zone. And the video to which I referred is prominently featured in the subject article of this thread, not your link to Mr. Skivvies-in-a-Bunch.
For 2019. He's #8 in 2018 behind 5 tOSU coaches. No doubt he can recruit, but we've got a few good ones as well.
Strive at all times to bend, fold, spindle and mutilate.
And he's Jimmy's number one knob polisher while he's doing a reach around on Don Brown. Chris was hired with NO college coaching experience. None. At a school like Michigan? Has that ever happened before? No! But that was right around the time Jimmy started his friends and family program?
Take your sad, pathetic, whiny ass back to mgoblog. No one cares what you think.
Hey my friend we just hired Brian Hartline (who by the way I think was Day's best hire - LJ and Coach Mick were retentions) No formal coaching experience in college BEFORE tOSU
Lol! At least he has time to get used to the taste, before our next meeting.
He knows damn well of OSU came calling for him, he would have jumped ship. He's probably salty we went after those two and not him.
Alabama did last year and he stayed at UM.
Somehow, he's even dumber than he looks
Says the guy on the internet talking about someone who makes half a million dollars a year.
They need to win at least 7 in a row before they start talking!

Which one was he again?
I aim to misbehave.
Because you can tune a piano but you can't tune up a broken down defense.

How sweet would that comment be in 8mo if we put up 70 instead of 63?
Meyer knew it was his last "Game". He could have and should have made it 71. Not that he will not be a Buckeye legend forever but if he had done that he would be a Buckeye god. Afterward he could have dropped the Woody quote as to why. Also, it would have put some fire back in the rivalry that desperately needs a booster shot of hate and incentive.
Knowing that fanbase from all their comments here, I wouldn't be surprised if we scored 59 and beat them in AA this year, some would claim they've improved from last year.
No-Name TTUN assistant gets pissed that 2 former TTUN assistants leave for better jobs, which happens to be for their Rival....... forgets every legendary player and coach his school has ever had comes from inside that Rival's state borders. Selective memory.
If you don't know his name that probably says more about you than him. He's the top recruiter in the B1G.
Yeah I mean he has a blue checkmark
If he's such a great recruiter, why did his safeties get burned?
62 points is a lot. OSU easily could have scored 69. We were right there near the goal line and took a knee. It's one thing to recruit, it's an entirely different thing to coach effectively.
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"
-- Urban Meyer
One requires pretty words, the other requires results. Guess which one they prefer up north?
As one of your fellow OSU fans said in another thread...anyone who judges a coach on a single game is an idiot.
Doesn't get more michigan than that response
You sound bitter for being a fan of such a successful team.
Just hate your team. And it's fun to laugh at them.
And you sound exceedingly petty with all the desperate insults you're throwing around. You've just about worn out your welcome here IMO.
If he was going to be honest and really put it out there, Xichigan has felt that way most of this century....
With the faces she's making, it makes me wond.
Is this the highlight reel of the now infamous sex tape...
Great collection! Do yo have a day job?
"We're going to try to make sure that scoreboard never looks like it did last year,"
It might look even worse this year, Turdboy.
Fields of Dreams
Harbaugh will bolt for the NFL tail between legs, after we shut down the big house again, I'm saying it now.
I do not at all have the mind of a bully... in my mind bullies are intolerant of contrary opinion, domineering and rather cowardly.
He won't have a chance to bolt...he will be kicked to the curb.
When they're running you out of town, stay in front of the mob and tell everyone you're leading a parade.
Maybe your players shouldn't have been guaranteeing victory on our field prior to the game. Any humiliation you felt from that loss you and your players brought on yourselves Coach Partridge-in-a-pear-tree lol. Even after 62-39 your defensive captain had to run his mouth and call what happened a "mirage" lol.
The irony of mocking UM's defense whose coaches now coach for OSU.
their system would have worked better with our 4-5 stars rather than their 3 stars who couldn't keep up.
I'm mocking UM as a whole. Not just their defense. Karan Higdon guaranteeing victory prior to the Game was stupid on his part and gave our guys bulletin board material and boy did they use it in the worst way. If Partridge really is still feeling shame to this day about that loss all I can say is good. Everybody wearing the Maize and Blue failed in spectacular fashion that day and Winovich just made it look even worse with his "Mirage" comments later on. And as far as the defense goes that was Don Brown's defense, not Mattison's. Last I checked Mattison was only responsible for the defensive line last season. The secondary was the biggest problem for Michigan in that game (Brandon Watson in particular) as well as Devin Bush leaving the game.
You're talking about someone "running their mouth" while you do the same. Talking by the other team has long been a part of this game. It happened the other way around too. Terry Glenn also did some talking of his own only to lose the game after his words. Sometimes the shoe is on the other foot. I'd guess a lot of people use various strategies to motivate their team when they lose. OSU did the same thing in the 90s. It happens, it's human psychology. But, it's a bit hypocritical to criticize UM for talking when OSU has done the same unless you're willing to criticize OSU for it as well.
Leave one wolf alive....and the sheep are never safe

Cool story, guy.
This guy is adorable
Gotta love 'BUTT-HURT' coaches from tsun!
16-2 is SWEET!
I'm sorry to tell you Chris, but you don't have blood in your mouth because a couple of assistants took a better opportunity. You have blood in your mouth because Ohio State smacked you in the face with a trash can lid last November. Better go see a dentist about that, lol.
Buy the ticket take the ride.
There are some who boast how they are doing to change bad results and there are those who know to shut up and work.
"GRIPPING so badly he may need a colonoscopy....................... be healthy!
I know Don (Brown) feels the same way."
Oh no! He does? So what. He's the best bum slayer in the nation but in the words of Friendemy Mike Valenti-When he faces a real QB, or he faces a team with playmakers, he gets beat. Plain and simple. That's the dirty little secret about Don Brown and his mustache. I guess the good news is that OSU doesn't have either anymore....oh wait.
Don't worry Michigan fans. Sure it has been a bad couple of decades with no end in sight...but...at least you can beat Indiana.
Proudly dispensing unbridled arrogance since 1983.
I'll take the Hoosiers and the points in Bloomington.
Looking back at it, the Indiana game this year put out the warning signs that OSU was going to do what it did. Indiana was moving the ball all over on them but just lacked the explosiveness to make it hurt.
That game showed us that was we saw a week later in Columbus was not only not a fluke, but probably should have been expected.
Don't worry Michigan fans. Sure it has been a bad couple of decades with no end in sight...but...at least you can beat Indiana.
Are you sure about that math?
They've won 4x since 1998, including one vs an interim coach in 2011. Any way you slice it that's a rough couple decades.
Must be that Michigan education they act like is some much better than most schools.
Now I'm typing like I have a Ttun education.
He must not get in front of the cameras much. We're going to "try" and make sure it doesn't happen again? Really coach your going to try lol.I think Harbaugh guarantees victory prior to the game. But we all know how it ends.No way they can match our talent in a year. Not possible after what i saw last november. And we gift wrapped 2 TD's. We should of dropped 70 on those snowflakes.
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
I was thinking about this the other day. How does Michigan and Harbaugh specifically change the narrative on this thing?
Full disclosure, as a disciple of Urban Meyer, I fully expect Ryan Day to embrace the rivalry the same way. But in order for Michigan to gain any level of credibility, how do they make this thing a thing again? Let's say it happens (and it probably will in our lifetime) and Michigan wins this year. Jim improves to 1-4. What changes? In my mind nothing, OSU still owns them. Does he have to win what, the next 3 at least to be taken seriously in this rivalry again? which would simultaneously drop Ryan Day to 0-3 in The Game?
I don't think any of this happens, but that is how far this thing has fallen. If Michigan actually pulls off a win next year, nothing changes.
Does he have to win what, the next 3 at least to be taken seriously in this rivalry again?
I think you're putting too much stock into last year's game. It's not as though a double OT loss and a 31-20 loss are crippling. They've showed they can play with OSU. All they have to do is show they can beat them. They don't have beat OSU the majority of the time to be "in the rivalry again", they just have to make the games close and win sometimes.
Oh you just forgot the 2 massive blowouts huh? Lol those seemed pretty crippling. If you're talking about the Michigan moral victory starting point of keeping games close, you're trending in the wrong direction. 2016: 3, 2017: 11, 2018: 23. Maybe you guys should set your sights even lower if that's possible.
And that right there is exactly why your team is in the state it's in if "Just make the games close" is your line of success.
Purdue is closer to our level this millennium than M!ch!g@n is. Stay in your lane. But I'm glad you've moved your goalposts so that winning isn't even a measure for success anymore.
Ok, you do realize after last year's shellacking Florida proceeded to do the same to you guys in the Bowl game right? I sense a pattern here. 3 out of Harbaugh's 4 losses to OSU now have been double-digit losses (with the biggest deficit coming in his first season in the Big House of all places). When it comes to the Rivalry that's a lot of futility.
And I don't think you are putting enough stock into it. It was a beat down of historic proportions that was the product of evolution. Ohio State is a superior football being right now and last November showed that. It was at best Meyers second worst team and by far it's most inconsistent. Harbaugh marched out a lineup of his players, his scheme, his Quarterback and they received the worst beating in the rivalry's history. It demonstrates your absolute best option at coach's short comings in the most extreme way. Heavy Man with no pressure and an offensive scheme that regularly uses a fullback? It's 2019. The fact that your guy marched that into a battle against OSU tells me everything I need to know.
As a TTUN fan said in a call-in show, the "Jim doesn't have his players yet" excuse is nonsense. By far the majority of the players starting for them are Harbaugh recruits.
A big problem for them is their players are slow at key layers of their defense, like linebacker and safety. That can't be fixed in a year.
A big problem for them is their players are slow at key layers of their defense, like linebacker and safety.
Their LBs last year were Devin Bush, who projects in the first round of the draft and Khaleke Hudson, who I'm sure will also test well in the combine.
That can't be fixed in a year.
Daxton Hill was a 5-star safety, #14 overall, and #1 S. He was in the 2019 class.
Maine, you're missing the point. You can have all of the talent, but if the talent is torched for 62 points there's an issue. Figure it out for yourselves.
Tbf Bush was hurt for the majority of the second half of the Game last year (which was when OSU started scoring points at will on almost every series). I think losing him may have contributed to their defensive meltdown in a lot of ways (he was essentially the QB of their defense).
I think losing him may have contributed to their defensive meltdown in a lot of ways (he was essentially the QB of their defense).
True, losing Bush was a blow, but they should have been prepared for that. UM gets enough good recruits. Coaching, maybe?
Wasn't Peppers a 5 star safety. We've heard this song and dance before Maine.
To be fair, this was our problem as well
"That boy ain't right in the head"
See youse guys in November.
I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...
I can't blame him for feeling betrayed by his fellow coaches but in his line of work coaches move all the time. Moving to your most hated opponent takes it to another level and we've feel the same if Urban rehires at Scum.

If you die before you die, then you won't die when you die.
Minus the strip clubs, dick picks, being a deadbeat husband, and not a good coach. But, they are both position coaches in the B1G.
And championship rings. Don't forget those.
Isn’t this the dude that rode Rashan Gary’s coattails from New Jersey to get that job?
If Ann Arbor is a whore, what's Harbaugh for going back to her?
Yep and he’s probably also salty that his whole reason for being at TTUN is leaving for the NFL
Wrong Paramus Catholic player...it was Jabrill Peppers.
Sigh, at what point will all this phony toughness from "Michigan Men" finally die down ?? Their battle cry has become, "Wait Till Next Year !!", but they seem to be living life like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day" and it is no longer boring, it's starting to get annoying, like a mosquito buzzing in your ear in a dark room while you lie in bed .....
Please, Coach Partridge, just grab a large glass of "Shut the fuck up", sit back and just wait for the inevitable pounding your Michigan Men will be taking, again, in AA .....
Sigh, at what point will all this phony toughness from "Michigan Men" finally die down
just grab a large glass of "Shut the fuck up", sit back and just wait for the inevitable pounding your Michigan Men will be taking
I hope you can see the irony here
What irony? scUM players and coaches are the ones doing all the shit talking right now. OSU is quietly going about their business in fall camp getting ready for the 2019 season. You think anybody in Columbus really gives a damn about what a bitter low-level assistant coach thinks about last year's loss much less Mattison and Washington? So Mattison referred to your guys as "up north." He's an OSU coach now. That's kind of an unofficial requirement among our coaching staff to never refer to our rivals by name. If your players and coaches are that easily triggered by it it's going to lead to more stupid bulletin board comments like both Charles Woodson and Karan Higdon guaranteeing a victory over OSU again (which I hope happens at this point, it will give us the fire to walk into the Big House and drop 70 next season lol).
Coach talk always kills me. What else is he going to say? What gets me is he is going to do better and work harder. That means to me he was a slacker last year if he didn't do his best. Franklin another one with his BS after this season. No more cell phones in meetings again that shouldn't been allowed from the get go that falls on the coach's not the players. Then again their not elite.
He shouldn't be mad at the coaches for leaving, he should be mad about the reason why they left. I highly doubt it's due to a lack of character.
You aren't implying that Jim Harbaugh isn't great to work for, runs out dates schemes, is a total crazy person, and is stuck in the mid 90's are you?
He's mad he didn't leave...…..
Enjoying daily the 62-39 ttun beatdown.
"I've got blood in my mouth, there's no qualms about it," Partridge said.
Any thoughts about what he'll have in his mouth after The Game on November 30?
Blood on the field, blood in the mouth.
It's a horrible bloody state, it is.
Varys: I've always hated the bells. They ring for horror, a dead king, a city under siege.
Tyrion: A wedding.
As a UM fan I have no hard feelings for them. I feel like GMatt made a business decision for more money and a better position and Washington went back home. At the same time I love to see the fire from Partridge. I think this makes the games more interesting.
As a UM fan
First line in the post and my spidey sense is tingling...
To ALL the other Buckeye fans on here why is this being down voted!? He should be angry and willing to DO something about it! To those of us who lived the Cooper era, I would always rather hate than platitudes!
I can smell Blu fan chiming in.
Noon games suck
At least he's mostly classy when he comments. Much better than Maine who always seems salty.
Much better than Maine who always seems salty.
Full credit to Thursby for this little gem. Just seemed to appropriate to pass up...
Sounds like he's butthurt that he didn't get an invite to Columbus.
Sell it to the Airforce, Mayo.
"Toughness is a choice."
I thought the same thing when Mattison and Washington joined the staff. It's one thing to start at Rival A, make a few stops and wind up at Rival B. Going directly from A to B? That's going to be an issue. How many coaches leave Auburn and go directly to Alabama? Texas to Oklahoma or Texas A&M?
I agree with you about how sudden the coaching migration was. But I don't think it will be a widespread trend.
Al Washington is returning home. He likely would have taken an OSU job in the first place if one was open. Greg Mattison was basically demoted at UM and wanted better. Ryan Day basically cleared house on the defense, apart from LJSR. The opportunity to build something at TOSU has to be tantalizing to any established coach.
What a pussy.... f ttun

Continue the domination...GoBucks!
Heard that *ichigan cancelled their Spring Game cause they couldn’t take another loss....
I really hate that school. Not sure how any Buckeye fan would ever root for them.
Don't have a whole lot to say, but will comment briefly, because some will expect it, as I am a known Michigan partisan in these parts.
WTF are you scUM fans gonna run your mouth about once you win a game against OSU? -- "Yeahhhh, take that bitches, we are now 3-16 against you guys in the last 19 years -- take that!!"
Pfffffft….pitiful bunch of silly skunk weasels....
So sayeth STU10...
I have made a vow never to predict a Michigan win, until it actually happens, and happens more than once.
Don't think mouth should run for anyone who is a Michigan fan. But definitely not after one lousy win, given the last 20 years.
but it isn't all bad to wear your heart on your sleeve
Give me a dose of passion with my sports, both on my team and the opponent. Makes it the best every time.
Props to the coach for spitting some fire.
I want my Rivals to have that.
He seems kind of bitter knowing that Day hired 2 of his co-workers instead of him.
It's a beautiful day in Columbus, Ohio... and TTUN still sucks.
I sense another "Fields" day coming again this year in Ann Arbor. It will be a glorious "Day" for the Buckeyes.
well if he the top recruiter in the BIG ....thats embarrasing
What a whiny little bitch. Do you know why they left that shitty program? They left so that they can actually win a big game and not choke.
What a dumb ass coach. That’s great supply us with bulletin board material. He’s as big of a psycho as Hairball. Keep opening your punk as bitch mouth moron. Coaches don’t shoot off their mouths about an opponent. Bush and Hudson were good LB’s because of Al Washington, not Partridge in a pear tree. He has the same mentality as Hairball, psychotic. If he is the top recruiter in the Big 10, wonder why we have never heard of him, until he ran his idiotic, moronic and asinine mouth. You have to bite you tongue till it bleeds dumb ass!!!
Jack L Frysinger
Ann Arbor is still a whore!
Really didn’t listen to anything he said, I was too distracted by his nips pokin through his shirt...must be cold in there
Nothing more needs be said.
I would have been disappointed if they didn't feel that way.
Let's see, now they are on the winning side and getting paid much better! Go figure!

This is a Must watch!!!
I haven't been able to be on here much recently, so I don't know if this was posted in the past week or so, but to add to Michigan fan's misery, are the following.
1. Their spring "game" . It's a practice, with a very short scrimmage sometime late during the event. So people get to pay to watch a practice this weekend
2. Because it's a practice and not a game, BTN has declined to broadcast it. So the only way to watch this practice is to online stream.
3. Parking lots around the stadium will open at noon. The practice starts at 5pm. U/M has put out statements that there is to be no tailgating in the parking lots.
In five years, U/M and Harbaugh have managed to take a spring game, hype it to hell the first year, TV, band, music, etc. and then water it down , and create so much disinterest in it due to the team's performance and their lack of catering to fans that it is almost non existent. Long time U/M fans are pissed off and I'm between feeling some sympathy for them and laughing hysterically.
That's a damn shame, LOL, screw those a-holes.
Well incase you haven’t figured it out yet, Hairball thinks he is the smartest kid in the room where ever he is at. The guy has pulled more dipshit moves and tried more weird crap than any coach in College Football. He still can’t beat a school with equal talent, he still can’t get the most out of his players and the big one he continues to get his ass kicked by Ohio State every year. Now he has assistants making big boy comments whike they are a 2nd teir program. Maybe time to stop taking trips to Europe, stop having practice in Florida and stop trashing tradition like the Spring Game you Idiot! Try coaching a little bit you moron!
