Maybe he’ll start to mature into a great teammate and leader. Talent has always been there. That’s sometimes a problem for these guys going pro so young. Obviously he had his problems in LA. But this has been a career year for the guy, and he’s still only 23.

It’s pronounced “Thee”.

He’s been both of those things all season. The Laker issues are a thing of the past.

Oh come on yeah he exposed Nick Young cheating but Magic Johnson made all the shit up to try and save face when he traded him for cap room. And Magic is the worst GM in the league. Look at where the teams are now

Apparently Sacramento has no idea how to prevent Russell from going to his left lol.

As a Lakers fan, this hurts. But I'm happy that he's killing it on his own and away from the dumpster fire in L.A.

If there is no Brow n Bron show next year...going to get real ugly (uglier?)

If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.

Maybe he could enter the portal from NYC to Columbus and be ready to play with the team this Friday! He still has eligibility, right?? :))

We didn't lose the game.. we just ran out of time.  Vince Lombardi

You win with people.

And so forth...

The Kings will always be the only California team I root for, but Russell is a beast. Wish he stayed one more year with the Buckeyes.

'the die is cast'...

but 'wishing' is a vapor in a vapor.

Yes.. D'Angelo DID BUILD 'it'.

Yet this 'it' is also a many-splendored, living, continuing, developing person, influenced in many ways by many people and things.

But still, it was D'Angelo that DID BUILD IT.  Each person, does "carry their own load"... regardless of how much of it we do or do not try to pass on to others, or avoid.

Looking back, D'Angelo 'was built' physically several years before 'ready for the pros' as what we so casually and arrogantly term 'mature' or 'adult'.

Whatever the opinion of 'should have' or 'shouldn't have' gone pro early... D'Angelo persevered in dealing with the consequences of his decision... overcoming in positive, enduring ways.

Keep going, D'Angelo!  ;-{)}

By the third paragraph - this is not a typical comment...instant light bulb (scrolls up)...yep, Buck 68.  Maybe I've just missed them, but I haven't seen many of your comments lately.  Hope all is well!

So Ill... ?  Hmmm, just 'saw' more than 1 meaning there! Coincidence... or intentional?  ;-{)}

To your cogent observation of our usual typicals:  so many hopes, hopping around...

But, in the Same Solitary One Real Hope, "all is well...".

Thank godness he is out of LA

Another detail, the final play was supposed to be taken by Russell but he was covered. He told RHJ "GO" instead of forcing a bad handoff. That's a sign of maturity. He didn't need to take the game winner even though he was the hot hand.

He has really come into his own and it's been fun to watch.  The change of scenery...maybe just the time to mature...it's done him wonders.

In the Pretty Women words of Julia Roberts, "Big mistake Lakers. Big mistake."  To go along with LeBron, they should have traded Ingram to get Ball at the point, kept Russell at a two guard with Kouzma at forward and kept the white big man they traded. (Can't remember his name, but I liked his upside better than McGee.

"We already make a Doritos for women. They're called Doritos."

HS

The big guy was zubac

They got kuzma with the draft pic they got from the Russell trade so they would need to have gotten a similar pick from trading Ingram.

I said it the day they traded him that they would regret it they shouldve kept DLo vs worrying about a young guy making a mistake and at Swaggy P at that like Swaggy was the corner piece of the Lakers. I for one am glad he's not in a Laker uniform as I hate the Lakers with a passion and it bring me joy watching them crash and burn even if Lebron there I could care less if Lebron wins a ring in that ugly jersey.
