He was fast, so were you. So fast you missed a tenth.

The WHAC plaque had him as running a 4.35 so maybe they are finally getting closer to accurate!

If yes, we can expect Campbell, Sheffield, McLaurin and Dixon to all be 4.4 or faster

It was a 4.48. I'm pretty sure the number on NFL.com is a typo.

BuckeyeAsylum's picture

Someone not using a number pad then, what a noob.

HS
cmented36's picture

What's really strange is after his first run NFL.com had him listed at 4.40,  where NFL Network clearly had him at 4.49.

HS
Kevin Harrish's picture

Yeah I saw that as well. It seems the website had some uh... Trouble lol.

Byaaaahhh's picture

Not a crazy typo for someone not using a numpad; the 9 is right next to the 0.

HS
cmented36's picture

True but to have 2 typos for the same guy is a weird coincidence. Some intern's about to have a bad night...

HS
AzBuckeye45's picture

Exactly. You'd think they would have some redundancy (several folks looking at the numbers before publishing) on these number checks.

WOW that's quick - musta been all the Coach Mick workouts.

Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!

It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

I was so excited when I saw it on nfl.com listed as a 4.38 but it was in fact a 4.48. I checked the video on twitter.

Still a little faster than I thought he would've run, good work by MW.

Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.

Always thought he was the better of the 2 running backs we had when he was fully healthy.

HS
Buckeye06's picture

He's faster straight line but I don't think he avoids tackles/contact as well as Dobbins does

HS
awlinBrutus's picture

All of the weaknesses they list for him is related to his overall speed, quickness, and explosivness through the hole, changing direction and pass protection. His blocking technique is horrible, doesn't set up in good position with his body to block well. Wasn't he one of the guy's that didn't want to play ST's? That in itself will get you on a roster. ST's got Nate Ebner a 2nd contract btw.

MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS

Yep. Those two weeks when he was fully healthy were pretty special.

HS

Not if he can't hang on to the ball.

HS

Between that and the bench reps he's turned up.

Good for MW.

I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...

Mike still beating Michigan, keep up the good work.

Not a bad time there for Higdon, though, tbh. I think Weber is heavier by like 5 pounds and <1" taller.

And has three more pairs of gold pants.

A thing repeated will happen a third time.

HS

I don’t think higdon has a pair of gold pants.  So that makes 4 more as a RSJ.

HS
FitzBuck's picture

Higdon should have sat out.  Why is he risking injury?

Interesting that the Buckeyes played 3 of the top 10.

Didn't know Miles Sanders was eligible to declare. That's bananas.

That'll be 5 dollars

4.47 officially.

I'm hearing Weber looked really good in the drills / receiving stuff too. Definitely made him some money today.

HS

He did look good in the drills. One of the announcers even commented on one of his catches being pretty good. Weber had a good day, IMOP.

This happens every season where there is a discrepancy in numbers between what’s on the ticker, nfl.com, and other sources.  I’m not sure why honestly, always been a mystery to me.

Did they do any fumble/ball security drills?  Too early?

Seriously, that and being a tad injury prone have to be the only knocks on the kid.

Get paid Mikey and don’t blow it all on a car LOL

IMO he’s a late 3rd rounder BEST CASE SCENARIO. Most likely 4-5 rounder.

The RB class is pretty mediocre and I don’t see any of those guys going round 1. Scarlett, Henderson, maybe go late 2nd round and then the rest.

Good call for Weber to declare this year because he can probably be considered top 5 in the class

HS

That's the thing about the NFL. They can take a good college player and make them really good. It's all about "fitting in" the right spot/team. Belechick is the best at it.
