I listen to your audios all the time and frankly, I am appalled....
Wahoo! Wahoo! Rip, Zip, Bazoo! I Yell. I Yell. For O.S.U.
Kendall Milton would be a great get no doubt. Make it happen Mr. Alford.
It would be shocking at this point if Justin Fields wasn’t ruled eligible afyer seeing those stats. Seeing the idea that Tate left because the duel would be between Fields and Baldwin is really interesting I must say. I certainly thought that Martell had a real shot at being the man in 2019.

He's a square peg and Day's offense is a round hole.
Urban Meyer >Jim Harbaugh for ever and ever, Amen. 0
I think he's saying Tate and his style of play (great runner, but possibly not a great thrower) wouldn't mesh well with Day's pass-heavy offense.

Yeah, I'd like to know where Austin is getting that intel from. While I agree that Baldwin was going to be in the mix, I think with Martell's experience with the offense, he was also going to be in the running. I think it's inaccurate to say that it was going to come down to Baldwin or Fields whether Tate left or not. Unless Austin has some definitive info that we haven't otherwise been privy to.

Why would anyone simply abandon an airplane? And not a little crap prop job, but a big old jet airliner?
The story about the 3 year old is just too weird. He wanders off and disappears for days, and is simply fine? He may as well have been hanging with a bear-makes as much sense as anything else I suppose.
Those stories are both odd, no doubt, but an emotional support alligator? Seriously? Just wait until that thing rips his hand off. Then he’ll really be depressed.

I like what you did there AZ
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
It wasn’t John Denver. He left on a jet plane.
Glad it was caught.... Not a Steve Miller fan, but that song was all I could think of while reading

He better where them only when they are away and it's raining.
Probably cold, not wet that turns them. Cold water would be good to demo.
Related: We've now been cheated of a Noah Spence/Joey Bosa combination and a Nick Bosa/Chase Young combination, and that just ain't fair.
Damnit, I almost forgot about the Noah spence thing. That one still drives me nuts. Him and Bosa together would have been unbelievable. They would have broken quarterbacks in half. And michigan fans scoffed at me last year when I told them Ohio State had two defensive ends better than Gary.
Cue the jinxed #8 link....

Do we have a time line when the fields decision should come? Or is it when the NCAA gets around to it?
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
I don’t think the NCAA has a timeline for anything, ever. No rhyme or reason to much of anything, and I would bet this decision will fall into that “schedule” as well.
As the stat is 79% approval for appeals...does anyone know what % of transfer requests are initially rejected in order for them to go stand in the appeal line?
I think this is an appeal of the standard rule that players have to sit out a year, not appealing after an initial rejection. So, 100% of transfers have to sit out a year unless they appeal. Makes you wonder if anyone doesnt appeal.
several times, i've heard "end of february" and that he'll know by spring practice.
I’m getting divorced. Cheers.
Damn that sucks.
SCPO, USN (ret)
Damn, sorry it didn’t work out for you DG.
Sorry to hear it. I’ve been in it for 33 years and it is not easy to hold together - life makes things pretty hard and tests relationships all the time. Look forward young man
38 in the bag for me. (No pun intended). Don’t give up on marriage in general, but it really does take two living for one another. I hope you find Mrs. Right in your future and benefit from a true union. God Bless your path.
The soldier is my son. The school I gone to didn’t teach much grammar.
Sorry to hear, Dillon. Been through it myself, and it's shitty no matter how well it ends up.
Going through a divorce is a horrible thing. I've gone through two. I don't know you personally Dillon, but believe me when I say you'll get through it and life will get better. Prayers for you.
"If you're not changing, you're falling behind."
Sorry to hear. Just remember it’s only money. You will always make more.
Congrats, on to bigger and better things.
You only need to be sorry for 2 little girls.
Keep that attitude, never put them in the middle, and it will be alright in the end.
ONE Not Done!
Hey so sorry to hear this, DG. But fwiw, I just went thru a divorce that was finalized last spring after a 3-year separation. Not easy, but it does get better. Of course, I have the benefit of having 3 kids that are all adults (I'm in my early 50s).
After a few years of separation, and reaching the conclusion that it was time to start making divorce plans, I reconnected with my very first girlfriend from HS, from a birthday post she left me on FB. She and I have now been together for a year and are enjoying this rediscovery. Opening yourself to new possibilities is never easy but you never know what goodness lies ahead.
Sorry to hear that Dillon! I know what is like, just got a divorce in June. It is definitely harder when you have a child. I still struggle with it everyday, but feel like things are starting to turn around. The hardest thing is not seeing my son everyday. Good luck and wish you the best brother!
That's certainly off topic. Do an AMA post.
Hang in there Dillon - sometimes life will throw you bucketfuls of lemons.
sorry to hear.been there a few times myself,am 65 & will say if anything happens this time, safe bet I will die single,to old & to tired.
Whats important is not knowing who to marry but who to divorce
Sorry mon. Just make a point to stay in your kids life no maatter what gets in your way if possible
Sorry to hear that. Take care of those kiddos and yourself!
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
I’ll have to start working on my abs.
I’ll have to start working on my abs.
That's really what sucks the most.
Kidding aside, this sucks, but I hope for the best for you. You always have a legion of fellow Buckeyes right here to escape with.
I meant this whole thing to be more light hearted. I don’t care about Skyline chili or fetching cats.
Here's to Ann Arbor burning today and the coals and ashes providing warmth to the Buckeye faithful making the trip.
1. I look forward to Day's fecund offensive mind continuing to produce superior results.
2. Keep in mind Young produced those results with two bad ankles for most of the season.
3. Fields getting a waiver is a surer bet than an Alabama win over Western Carolina next November. However, I think the NCAA draws the line at departure of assistant coaches as reason for immediate eligibility. That will be bad news for Tate and Bru.
Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
I am one of seven; our parents were fecund. I drew the line at one and won the lottery. Happy 24th to my little girl.
Slipped a Star Wars reference in the skully eh....it's gonna be a good day y'all...at least we are not in Siberia, they say it normal to be -60

This nasty weather reminds me of the week running up to SB XVI, Bengals vs. Niners, 1982, which followed Cincinnati’s AFC championship win over the Chargers in -9 with a wind-chill factor of minus-59. Man, that was cold!
remember the raiders/browns playoff in '80. i was there. temp was 1 with windchill of -39. i would NEVER go to a game with that kind of cold again
I was 9 years old and I was at that game. My friend who lived across the street had 6 brothers and sisters and the family had season tickets. 2 of them were sick so i got to go. My parents were a little reluctant to let me go, but all was fine. Well, except for those 2 dipshits who didnt have shirts on lol.

It's 30 degrees and sunny here this morning. I just dropped the kiddo off at school, and had to scrape the windshield. Oh, the horror!

When I went to Columbus MEPS it was record cold and windchill. I wonder if I can crib Wikipedia for that historical info.
In Russia, the cold catches YOU.
Nothing about ruling Fields ineligible would be working in its own self-interest.
and that pretty much sums it up.
Except if one were to review last year’s highest rated football games and the Buckeye’s record there seems to be a disconnect about being left out of the CFP. Hate to sound like one of those guys, but a Martell waiver and a Fields denial would make about as much sense as tattoos taking down Tressel while the Miami scandal which was seemingly way worse, was swept under a rug. Ohio against the world.
I wasn't thinking TV ratings. I was thinking along the lines of the NCAA not wanting to touch a case with heavy racial connotations, should they deny him.
i thought the incident with the bama lineman caught in his car at 2:30am with weed and an unregistered handgun was also worse than the tressel situation - and nothing happened there either.
Nope not making it to the game.

Thing about Fields is that not one expert has ever said he won’t be granted immediate eligibility. Guess we will all feel better when it’s official.
Not to dwell on the past but losing Little Bear kept us out of the playoffs and with him healthy we would've matched up OK with anyone in the field. Not saying we would have won it but we were robbed of a shot at it.
I dunno unless Bosa was somehow going to drop back into coverage because whether he was on the field or not, our mid-level pass coverage and run support were still atrocious.
This guy would agree.
i don't think bosa would have changed the outcome at purdue - he was playing at iowa the year before and it didn't end well there for the buckeyes.
Didn't he get tossed on a targeting call early in that game?
It's a given L. Muhammad still needs to develop. Did he graduate with the career high 24 Sat. punctuated by nailing timely second half three's (yes against a struggling Neb.) It has to give Coach Holt, and all of us...young blood hope.
Going to find out how much in Crisler. These #5 skunk weasels will be on the revenge tour for the 62-39 spank.
It will take nothing less than a good guy miracle, does the fav/dog spread matter...just don't get embarrassed.
Here's hoping for...*noise complaints from the King Av attic.
I’ve got Georgia blood in me. I’m not built for this.
Kevin, nobody is built for this. Layer up, Buckeye brothers and sisters! Frigid cold like this, mixed with fecundity, may lead to a mini baby boom this September/October.
If the BasketBucks pull off the upset tonight, the heat from AA burning will keep us warm in NW Ohio.
An emotional support alligator would definitely cheer me up because I'd always be able to say "see ya later alligator" when I leave the room (which would be hilarious) and also it could bite your arm off if I don't like you.
Just hope when the gator turns on him and clamps down on an appendage, it’ll get the same coverage.
Yeah, no one f's with an alligator, except Amos Moses
And Jack T. Colton, of course.
He could trap the biggest, the meanest alligator, and just use one hand!
... and think about the cool boots and belt you'd have down the road.
Because as a belt, if it can’t boost your flagging spirits, at least it can keep your pants from falling down. Same animal, different kind of support.
Don’t forget your greeting: It’s been a while, crocodile.
Alligators get offended when you call them crocodiles.
Wonder if they would let you take an emotional support war elephant on board?

Dang - that's hilarious. I guess we better get use to seeing this .................
Just don't let them spook the emotional support chickens.
Then you need a karate monkey to keep the elephant in line.
Wasn't it in Florida where someone recently tried to bring an "emotional support" peacock onto an airplane? Pfffft...figures!
Cred to Alford. Admittedly, I was pretty butthurt when we lost Drayton, but Tony’s done a great job.
Not getting the heavy bone-chilling stuff down my way until tomorrow.
I remember when they referred to the polar vortex (or Po-Vo?) as a cold front.
I had to run away high, so I wouldn't come home low...
I remember when they referred to these type of cold fronts as Alberta Clippers.
Old poster is old.
+1 for the wayback reference.
Encouraging words on Fields - I believe it's only a matter of time before it's official.
Horray to global warming...... not
Wait I think people misunderstood me, I am very much in favor of global warming.
Those of you who have to suffer living in sec country and listen to those hacks all year can take pleasure in walking outside this week without dying of heart failure do this ridiculous cold weather. Other than that, I love Ohio.
Even better, living in a warmer state that isn't in the South.
A very fecundable, yet, sagacious forum post.
Just imagine where those fingers have been....
Its a funny picture, because James Franklin is such a great coach that he is the only one still left at PSU.
Hoping for a Buckeye win in AA tonight. This could be a season changer. We shall see.
... Three-year-old boy found after going missing in the woods for 2 days says he “hung out with a bear”...
That wasn't a bear. Bears are hibernating now. That was a Bigfoot little Casey was hanging out with.

Those Guardian Squatches are amazing.
We have an emotional support Sasquatch. Have to fly first class for a bigger seat. Flight attendants love him.
In all seriousness I'm open to that idea. If you look into the subject there are ten's of thousands of anecdotes of Bigfoot and a lot of interesting research around the topic. For example in a lot of these Bigfoot stories there usually involve UFO sightings that precede or follow the Bigfoot sighting. Perhaps the two are linked in some way. I've read that Bigfoot perhaps is an interdimensional being. Lots of mysteries in this universe.
In the poll era (since 1936), OSU is by far the class of the B1G:
National Titles: OSU 8, UM 3
B1G Titles: OSU 33, UM 27
Head-to-head: OSU 42, UM 36
Major Bowls (New Year's Six): OSU 20-14, UM 10-16
I hope and think the Fields decision will be positive, I don't think the NCAA has the guts for a racial hailstorm. But in the back of my mind I know how the NCAA always has harsher interpretations for Ohio State. What Duke was not even slapped on the hand for last year would have given us the death penalty.
If you're honestly interested in a pair of shoes by Kato, just DM him on Instagram. I did last week and he's designing some for me now. Super nice guy.
It is amazing how far ahead of any other D-tackle Dremont was in QB pressures. I an soooo glad he came back last year. Imagine our defense if he had gone to the NFL early??? It makes me shudder, and I am in Texas where it is not below freezing.
I believe that Fields will easily win his transfer waiver, and in doing so it will deliver a perhaps death blow to UGA leading to a mass exodus and firing of Smart. Basically, UGA will have a mark of "racist" university with recruits and players. Likely his appeal will come with other anecdotes of racial bias and racism towards Fields and other black players. I'm actually quite surprised that a bigger deal hasn't been made by the national media about his sudden transfer. As bizarre as Tate to Miami was, Fields to OSU was 1000 times bigger. Oh, that's right, because it's the SEC and ESPN. Let that have been a Buckeye fan calling a player the "N" word and that player transferring out. You'd have 24/7 news crews at the Shoe and Meyer would have been fired already. And that's a fact.
Round on the ends and "HI" in the middle. O-HI-O.
I was unaware the baseball player was also on the football program's staff. Kirby Smart is done for now.
You're proving my point even if you don't realize it yet. Why did something some rando person say (who later was ID'd as a member of the baseball team) result in Fields wanting to transfer from the football team? Did Smart not foster a locker room that made Fields feel safe? Did he or any of his coaches use language like that (as was alleged having been said about Zach Smith and Trevon Grimes http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25267076/ohio-state-deni...)? All I'm saying is that if this was UFM and OSU, it'd be much more of a story. The kid isn't transferring because of any other reason than racism (we're to believe).
You certainly checked the box for absurd.
I take it you’ve been in a coma since July, right?
I too, believe that Fields will win his transfer - but you lost me on the resulting firing of Kirby Smart related to a tone deaf response to racism at UGA. No offense, but I think you've gotten ahead of yourself, oldtown.
I'm illustrating absurdity by being absurd. My whole point is that Fields' transfer waiver request will be based primarily (solely?) upon outward racism directed at him and nothing else. Surely the plea he and his lawyer is submitting says as much. And if he was leaving OSU for racism reasons there would be much more attention given to the story than there is currently.
Okay, I get it -- and in hindsight, have to agree with you!
so true on the Bosa/Spence and Bosa/Young combo's. Hoping Zach Harrison comes on strong in the second half of 2019 to give 4-6 games (2 playoff) of Young/Harrison
Fields is in. There is no way the NCAA is going to fight racism, real or not, in the national media.
Another bad take from Kevin concerning Michigan seeing as the Bucks lost to them in gymnastics, wrestling and womens basketball
Has it come to this Michigan fan? Puffing your chest about gymnastics? Pathetic.
You would trade every win in every sport just to beat OSU in football.
OSU has a better football, hockey and baseball program right now. Wrestling also despite a pointless January dual meet. Osu will finish higher at the BIG Ten meet.
Michigan does have a better hoops program at this time. They are a basketball school so that is expected.
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
