So it was a replay of the first 3 quarters?
It's just a loop of Dixon falling on the onside kick.
Negativity is a choice.
The only bad part is listening to Chris Fowler the whole time.
Ignorance isn't bliss for the rest of us.
Both he and Herbie talk way too much during a game. Let the action speak for itself a little bit.
Fowler was understandably not at his best during the Rose Bowl due to the fact that his beloved Nittany Lions and Trace did not go out a winner earlier in the day.
Glad the team kept Urban's losses in the single digits over his 7 year career in Columbus.
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
That was a splenderiffic way to send out Urban.

We had a perfect sight line for the Dixon TD/flex. My son is still telling anyone who will listen about it.
Editors need to check that video. Looks like 4th quarter was missing.
AKA the Horseshoe, the Shoe, and the House That Harley Built
I just watched the game on BTN in 60. I skipped the fourth quarter also.
Was at the game; amazing experience!
Not quite as good as the Natty, but none too shabby =)
Ive got a really good feeling about the Ryan Day era. Glad I got to see Haskins light up the record books even if it was only for one season. Also, I think both Okudah and Wade are potential all-americans and if the LB situation can be corrected with both personnel and scheme change, I look for the defense to become one of the best in CFB. Day's offense will be lit and he has two QB's that have the skillset to maximize production (Fields and Baldwin)... Predicting that Ryan Day will be a superstar HC by this time next year.

Love the header pic, perfect.
I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...
It was 50 years ago that I first saw the Buckeyes play in the Rose Bowl—the victory over #2 USC that brought another national title to Columbus. But I witnessed that on a b & w TV on a cold day in Connecticut.
Now being out here in southern Cal and having just seen my first Rose Bowl in person, I have to say it more than lived up to my expectations; the setting is second to none.
Thanks for the video.
I meant to add a PS: did Urban always get that animated before every game?
That was way too little! It is still the Granddaddy of them all!
As a young man, early to mid sixties, I thought that nick name was a bourbon reference! And I didn't drink in those days!!
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Like all Senior classes, gonna miss these guys.
Watching the four captains (T. McLaurin, J. Dixon, P. Campbell, & I. Prince) walk to the middle of the field it's hard not to notice that Isiah Prince is a VERY large man which is amplified because he's next to some slim & speedy WRs.
Onward to 31 August & FAU!
BEAT TTUN FOREVER!
62 - 39 = 7 consecutive
One of my favorite Buckeye memories was watching them beat OJ SImpson and USC with my 9-year-old son. Then in 201o, seeing Tressel’s “fast defense” roll the Ducks with my 9-year-old grandson. (There NEVER was a more confident, arrogant fan base than those supporting the DUcks that year!) They made this year’s scUM fans look very normal.
Your comment about the "confident, arrogant fan base" of oregon is well said. I sat in a gaggle of ducks in 2010. There were appalled that I told them the Pac 10 or 12 or whatever it is, does not play defense. They kept honking their pitiful duck call until the 4th Q when the game was mostly over. By the last 4th Q most of them had left.
2019 Rose Bowl was another awesome day for us in Buckeye Nation. Thanks for the quick highlights.
I've lived in Seattle for 19 years. The UW fans hate Oregon first, especially their fanbase, and Michigan second.
What I liked about the Rose Bowl was that OSU / UW played a clean, competitive game. UW fans are generally not delusional like Oregon fans.
I'm in the minority that wants to get rid of the playoffs altogether. The Rose Bowl and the other New Years 5 are special occasions. Practically no-one tuned in for Alabama vs. Clemson. It will be Alabama and Clemson automatically in the playoff for years to come. F*** that.
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"

but also the dawn of a new one.
A new Day is dawning?
Bet you can't say "Bert Bielma is a bumbling buffoon" five times fast.
Seeing the people in short sleeves in January every New Years and seeing the sun setting in the mountains made me feel so deprived as a kid. Haha.
Pasadena is a charming place too.
My Husky friends are still no where to be found - I'm just trying to talk to them about the game LOL
this game was anti-climactic it would have been better if OSU played a complete game and whooped they're as in the second half too....
Agree, another case of Meyer not wanting to embarrass a friend. It could have been 49 - 23 if OSU had played a full out 4th Q.
Still, another Rose Bowl trophy for the Woody Hayes center.
Totally enjoyed being at the game with wife. Much better than our last experience in AZ vs Tiger Rag. Not quite as exciting as our First Rose Bowl vs the Quack. But so historical as Urban's last? Salute, and a fond farewell to the first Buckeye to become a franchise QB in the NFL. Also our last year living on the 'left coast' as we plan to retire to the Carolina Coast later in 2019. Meanwhile, we await Spring Football...
