That was unacceptable. They need to get their act together quick or things can start going even more downhill.
This is definitely where I parked my car.
Chill bruh, we a football school
Football team also gets stomped by Purdue and Iowa
But wins the BIG.
And misses the playoff for the second year in a row
The basketball team would never get there if it were 4 team.
As did 125 other teams... and considering that Alabama and Clemson are playing at a level that is higher than the other schools right now, that only leaves 2 spots for 127 teams. That means each team has a probability of 1.5% of getting in. The fact that Ohio State was on the door step BOTH years speaks highly of the program.
Perhaps you like to cheer for Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State, or Wisconsin instead?
Maybe Rutgers, Illinois or Maryland are more your speed.
Odd, I looked at the schedule. I can't even FIND where we played Iowa this year! I did see where we went 13 -1, won the Eastern Division, the Big 10 Conference Championship, AND the Rose Bowl. Not too shabby. I can only assume you like to wallow in your misery and live in the past. I guarantee you that Michigan fans aren't still harping about their losses to Toledo and Application State, are they?
Perhaps you want to wander over the the Alabama site and complain about how they lost to Clemson? That tied them with the number of losses Ohio State had this year. Wow! Roll Tide must really suck, huh?
11 Final Fours. 22 Big Ten Championships (behind only Purdue with 23). Conference-leading 13 Outright Big Ten Championships.
That's a top 12 basketball program all-time resume my man.
Just goes to show how dominant those 5 (or so) blue blood schools have been in basketball - it's them, and then everyone else all lumped together.
Well, I've watched a lot of basketball games in my life... and that was one of them.
Nothing like playing a team who is playing their balls off while you go through the motions.
Makes for fun viewing if your anyone else but us. But since I'm part of us, it sucked.
Young team lets one slip away on road.
Keep getting better Bucks: limit turnovers and opponent offensive rebounds, hit free throws, don't get rattled.
Our honor defend, so we'll fight to the end !
Funny how the little official let 'em play, except for Kaleb. His third foul was off his stomach and into Baker's head. Surprised he didn't call a flagrant one.
Never place a bet on anything that can talk.
Yeah, giving up 13 offensive rebounds is something the coaches can fix; and it needs to be fixed if this team expects to compete in this conference. The bad free throw and field goal percentage is something that the players themselves need to work on; but the coaches have to make them understand that if they don't improve their minutes on the court will have to be curtailed to allow more time for players from the bench to see what they can manage.
~ The Buck Guy
Young yes, but rutgers is younger, playing four frosh most of the year. Young teams need to learn how to play on the road. Still a 20 win team and a borderline ncaa team. Two losses I had 'em down for. Iowa is big coming up, they better man up, cause they are relentless, not a great team but they keep coming at you.
NIT here we come! The 2019 class cannot get here soon enough. This team has been brutal to watch since the finals week break.
NIT isn't happening... they could finish the season .500 and go 8-8 and still make the dance... and ugly embarrassing loss but in no way March madness ending..
Your giving up already?
Depends on how they react going forward. Rutgers lost by 11 to MSU but it was close until the end. Lost by 5 @Wisconsin. This is a team when they play well can give anyone a game with their size and physicality.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
You are a good reason why there isn't much of a home court advantage anymore. High expectations are one thing, turning your back on what you call your team is another. Even when the team wins, too many fans are too quick to complain. You don't make a team better by spitting in their face.
Can't win them all but that was embarrassing... Don't think Wesson touched it in the paint the last stretch, too many turnovers, bad shots, bad defense...,, that Mathis kid could ONLY go to his right and they let him go to his right every freaking time.. battled all the way back have the ball to put things away and bad shot and a turnover.... ugggggg.
and I will NEVER understand with different coaches, players, opponents etc how we continue to be one of the WORST fast break teams for like a decade.. We had a 4-2 where we jacked up a 3....
Having a 3 point lead with 2 and a half minutes to go and then not scoring a single point to let Rutgers take it away... that looked like bad high school level ball. ACME league teams never look that bad in the final 2 and a half minutes, at least not that I've seen
Hear me out, but something tells me the AP Top 25 voters aren’t gonna love this.
"Medicine is not a science" - Leo Spaceman
Nor should they. Bucks need to play better than this to be ranked.
Rough. Hopefully the wheels don't fall off. How is Duane Washington not taking that final shot? Get he's a freshman but he's the best 3 pt shooter on the floor.
"The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish" - Charlie Chaplin
Would've taken almost anyone over Jackson tonight. That's who shot that, right?
They got a great look... only thing I had an issue with was taking 10+ seconds to get the shot off. Not enough time to get a rebound and kick it back out off a miss... got to quicker than that..
I've said the last few games that it baffles me why Washington isn't a primary shooter to finish out games
Except he's shooting less than 25% over his last 8 games or so. I think the coach had the right guy shoot it-42% anyhow.
What a complete shit show. Man, I can't wait until Holtman gets more talent. Having two men comprise 100% of your front court simply isn't a tenable position.
Any team with length should just pack it into a zone and Ohio State has about a 10% chance to beat you.

Micah Potters transfer, the week before the first game put a cramp in Ohio States height and depth situation
No doubt about it. But I'm still shocked there isn't another serviceable 6'7" F or 6'4" SG who can play SF on the roster. I hoped Keyshawn Woods would fill that role, even if a little undersized, but he isn't.
Losing a whole recruiting class to transfer, is showing its ugly head. Buckeyes are well coached, just an incomplete roster. Might take 2more years to rinse the past roster snafus out of our system.
OSU basically got a 1 year death penalty when they signed the 2015 recruiting class, and lost half the 2016 recruiting class.....no depth....no room for off nights or error.
Absolutely. I intend to go to the B1G tourney in Indy in 2020, so I hope next year gets it rightish!
^This. UV +1.
I like potter a lot, but he isn't the answer-or the problem to this year's team. How many balls were deflected or stolen in the paint in the first half? That's not a size or depth problem. The guards are not only weak with the ball, but poor ballhandlers and even with numbers they won't go finish a fast break, which are the easiest points in bb.
Ohio State basketball isn't at a point where they can lose their top 3 players from last year and replace them without growing pains, tonight was one of those nights. All we can ask of this team is to be competitive and get better which to this point, they've overachieved. The Big Ten season will be rough but hopefully the Bucks grind their way into the NCAA tournament which is all that matters. That will set us up for a special 2019-20 season which we all know was the main goal coming into the season.
Thank you! I understand the frustration, this was an ugly game, no way around it. However, we had to understand there was going to be some growing pains, the team played spectacular to open the season but the B1G is a whole different animal. Bucks will get theirs and will continue to get better, just going to have to take the body blows for now.
All we can ask of this team is to be competitive and get better which to this point, they've overachieved.
If you mean up until 7pm Wed when you say, "to this point", you may be right. However, they have persuaded kenpom.com, the AP voters and the NCAA's new Net Basketball Ratings that they are pretty good. Due to their inconsistencies shooting, defending, rebounding and ball handling, they have fallen—as they should. They know how to do these things fairly well, but they have lost their focus—or poise—the last 2 games. And Holtmann and staff have told them so. Even the upperclassmen in tonight's game played like Freshmen on the road, against a team ranked 107th/132nd—and without their leading scorer.
Gotta hope they get it together—and keep it together—at Iowa.
Andre Wesson continues to be a liability.
Hard to believe he's at Ohio State if not for his last name. That pass out of bounds was one of the worst passes I've ever seen .
I think he learned basketball from watching volleyball
I wish C.J Jackson would’ve cramped up and missed half of the game tonight. He was terrible like he’s been all year. Duane Washington needs to play over him. We have too many guys on this team that don’t show up half of the time. C.J Jackson, Keyshawn Woods, Andre Wesson. Unacceptable!
I would love to know those 3 players’ shooting percentage in the last 5 games. Got to be somewhere in the 10-15% range, right?
Rutgers were throwing up circus shots and they were falling. We had open looks all night and couldn't hit em. Still a lot of season left but we have our work cut out for us
Rough game. They battled back well but just couldn’t close the deal
Tough loss - it will be road games like this where this year's team will have to learn how to play with expectations. A game like this last year, KBD would bail them out. They'll learn that they have to play the game like they did the last 7 minutes.
Helluva call by Holtmann for the last shot. Just didn't execute.
Make preparations in advance. You never have trouble if you are prepared for it.
Respectfully disagree. Washington should have been the primary shooter for the last few minutes. He's the best shooter, especially from outside of the arc. And his defense sure couldn't be worse than what we saw to end the game
He’s not been hitting, either. The whole team has been shooting poorly.
Very, very disappointing.
That was the most pathetic fucking display of basketball I have seen in YEARS. We never made any kind of adjustment against the zone. Then took a 3 point lead, with the ball with 3 minutes to go and then don't score at all? I mean holy fucking shit we had all the momentum finally at crunch time and could not finish the job against Rutgers?! 10-10 is going to be a struggle for this team.
You might be upset, but your first sentence is quite the hot take.
Losing to Rutgers isn't the worst thing you've seen in years? Wow. I'm glad I haven't watched what you were watching.
This isn’t the first time we’ve lost to Rutgers the last few years. At least this time it wasn’t a tourney game.
I'm not going to get bent out of shape about a game. Buckeyes tried the best they could, just wasn't good enough.
“Pathetic basketball in years” ? Evidently a few people on here have already forgotten that just a couple years ago how bad OSU basketball actually was with mostly juniors and seniors on the team. This is a streaky team and a team that has any length gives them trouble. This year is going to be what it is, but I still think they will finish better than expected because the expectations weren’t that high to begin with. This is the Big Ten and the league is going to be very tough this year, the one announcer in BTN said he thought they would get 10 teams in this year. I guess patience is a virtue and not many on here seem to want or have it .
Tough to win on the road in the B1G but ...
0 FTAs from the guards says it all. We can only attack the basket through K Wesson.
How many wide-open shots did CJ brick tonight? When you can't hit a jumper you have to bring something else to the table.
Props to LM. He pretty much shut down Baker (2 points) in the 2nd half and helped hold us in the game in the 1st.
Not Bardo, but the other Announcer on BTN was pulling for Rutgers all game, and it was annoying. He had his inner Chris Fowler dialed up to 100.
They might get into the NIT, but that isnt a sure thing. When does the football season start?
1. Woods and Jackson really don't provide any leadership nor scoring.
2. OSU has 3 players really...Wesson, Mohammed and Young
3. Losing at Rutgers really is sad.
4. No size or rebounding on this team.
Going to be a long rest of the season
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
#4 is the worrisome thing for any kind of NCAA hope... those were average bigs tonight and they destroyed us in the paint. We get matched up with a team that has above average bigs... and good night..
Guard play is just as important, if not more so, imo. Good slashing guards with a decent jumper can get bigs out of position and into foul trouble. The Bucks don't have that kind of guard.
This guy was praising the team up until the msu game. As soon as something that bad happens players are terrible and all of the coaches need fired.
Love couch potato coaches
1. Second straight game with zero leadership down the stretch.
2. Peaking in November is usually not a positive thing for a college basketball team.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Woods shouldn't be on the floor anymore and give Jackson's minutes to Washington.
I want Duane to get more mins, but that's a little extreme. I don't think Holtmann is only going to play 5 guys.
I play, coach stays. He goes, I go.
Agree about Washington. And Woods and Jackson both need to work on their shooting to earn minutes from the bench. It's not like they're lock-down defenders or can drive it inside on offense; so, with a 15% FG percentage, what exactly do they provide to the team? Serious question here, not being snarky whatsoever
With what Jackson, Woods, and AWesson have done the last few weeks, unless Kaleb is absolutely dominating, there are going to be some rough games the rest of the season. The team desperately needs some consistent, reliable scoring from the veterans on the perimeter.
This team has overachieved and hit a wall now and I'm not sure they can bounce back from it.. The backcourt of Jackson and Woods have been trash 2 games in a row it may be time to have one of them come off the bench for a game or 2.
A. Wesson 4 points
Jackson 10 points
That is just sad
The 10 pts for Jackson is even deceiving. That’s on 4-13 shooting. A lot of nights like this for him, a veteran.
And 4 TOs for Andre Wesson. He’s a turnover machine for a 3 player. And he adds nothing offensively.
4 turnovers for Wesson. Last turnover in the game committed by A. Wesson pissed me off.
Simply embarrassing. We need to start games much better than we have been, A. Wesson and Woods have to sharpen their game significantly and CJ has to sharpen his shooting touch or it could be a long B10 season.
Yep. I blame Holtmann for this one. He had to know that zone was coming, and yet again we fell on our faces against it. Finally in the second half we had a couple possessions where we penetrated and beat it, but you can't wait until 35 minutes have gone by to do that. And the last few possessions were atrocious. First of all up by 3 they are on their heels, go fast and score. We don't do that, then all of a sudden down 1 and Kaleb doesn't touch the ball? Then end with Jackson heaving a 3? What a clusterfuck.
why didn't you have Washington in for Wesson to shoot the three as well
The problem is most of these kids try to pretend they are Steph Curry and none of these kids are very proficient outside shooters.
At the point of playing the young guys. Start Washington at the point. Seen enough of Jackson and Woods can go back to Wake.
While everyone is going to have an off game once and awhile at least up until now Woods has disappointed too often. He is not bringing to the team, i.e. senior leadership, what Holtmann brought him in for.
Seen enough of ASJ's posts. He can go back and root for a new team. The minute woods has a good game and someone else has a bad game the comment will flip. This guy is a joke
You're right. UV for you. As for you haters out there, down voting isn't an acceptable substitute for intelligent discourse. If you have an opposing view, state it openly. I swear, this site has become over run by sophomoric nose pickers. Man up ffs
That image of andre turning and throwing the ball directly out of bounds late in the game is going to be burned into my mind for a while. I'm fine losing if we're playing the right way, but poor shot selection and terrible decision making has been killing us lately.
Also, what's the deal with Keyshawn lately? He has looked out of it the last few games.
That play by Andre lost the game against Rutgers. Never understand the why the OSU guards cannot attack the rim and just make a mid range jump shot. Quit settling for threes you aren't J.J. Riddick, Steph Curry or Jon Diebler!
Amazing how scared we are against the zone. If I'm scouting against us I'm playing it all game long. We don't have the shooters to get them out of it
Holtman needs to go, Thad never lost to a shitty Rutgers team. #bringbackthad
There’s the hot take of the night.
Yes he did...his last damn game.
What's Randy Ayers up to these days?
I kid I kid. Holtman will be fine. Very young team, besides I'm hearing Urban is coach in waiting to replace Holtman after season.
Thad lost to a shitty Rutgers team in the Big Ten Tournament remember Jaquan Lyle and Marc Loving!
Ok I’m emotional at that shitfest too. But this ain’t it chief.
Dude. Football is drinking season. Time to sober up.
I live in Florida where it's always drinking season. Today was 82 and sunny and cracked a cold one after work!
Did you forget the /s?
Missed the game (song song's basketball practice), but in reading game preview I thought Rutgers could give Ohio State a tough game.
Not to the point where coaches need fired, of course.
I'm not around that much, running exhausted and lost...
For the love of God I was kidding stop the madness!
Sure made RU look like world beaters.
Empathy for the RU player who dislocated his ankle. Speaking from experience...until I had my Brostrome repair, I dislocated my ankle about one a month for 20 years. i can assure you, it hurts.
Why didn’t Holtmann play zone the entire second half? They did it in the first and it worked pretty well.
Because the Buckeyes don't have the length or the rebounding prowess to pull it off. They played zone at times against Syracuse and it looked like a 10 year old rec team out there.
I am ready for Duane to get more mins, at the expense of CJ and Keyshawn. Duane's shot selection and defense can be iffy, but Jackson and Woods have combined to play one good half (CJ in 1st half against Sparty) in the last two games.
I just think Duane and Luther have such higher ceilings than our senior guards. I would rather live with their mistakes now in the hope they will be more dependable in February and March.
This team needs a lot of work. They looked pretty sloppy out there. The ball-handling was not good.
Fields of Dreams
The rest of the team needs to show the heart and passion that Kyle Young plays with each time he is on the floor. Go Bucks
I cannot believe Wesson threw it to the scorers table out of a timeout. SMH. Just no basketball IQ at all.
Gets no easier at Iowa Saturday. They have more bigs and better shooters.
We are going to get destroyed on Saturday. That game will be something like 100-70.
Iowa will destroy this Buckeye team. It will be a blood bath!
Worst player on the team and he will still play this kid
Like I said, he’s been a turnover machine from the 3 spot. And adds nothing offensively. I’ve quielty not liked him and am going to get more vocal on it. I don’t understand the love affair with him. He’s a role player, 7th man at best.
He really is. Needs to be coming off the bench.
And we wonder why Micah Potter transferred?
I think the early portion of this season may have given me a lot of fool’s gold/false hope. I had assumed all along that this was a tournament team, buy this loss coupled with the tough stretch they have coming the remainder of the month is cause for some concern.
All in all, Holtmann has overachieved thus far, and next year’s class has the makings of a program changer.
"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed, is more important than any other one thing." - Abraham Lincoln
Why in the f..k does this coach play Andre Wesson? Kid cannot pass, shoot, score and rebound. His errant pass cost them the whole game.
Keyshawn Woods was a huge mistake as a grad transfer. 5 f..king points against Rutgers. He played in the ACC against the likes of UNC, Louisville, Syracuse, Duke and averaged 11.5 points for Wake and the lays an egg versus Big Ten opponents.
Washington is clearly such a better shooter and he doesn’t dribble into trouble. He should be playing way more and eating Jackson/woods minutes.
Wesson, Woods and Jackson all need to be on the bench. Can't wait to get some highly skilled guys in here next season
Jackson looks timid and Woods just looks like he is over his head. Woods has scored 7 points the last TWO games.
Woods scored 13 points against UNC at UNC, 15 points against Duke at Duke, 13 points against Clemson, 21 points against Tennessee from last year and you can do s..t versus Big Ten opponents like Rutgers!
Lotta truth in here. Jackson, Woods and Andre are just momentum killers with zero ability to get to the rim. They want to shoot threes but aren't very good at it.
And it's not like they're elite defenders either, they're all unspectacular athletes with awkward body types
OSU cannot score against a zone nor handle a team with size and strength. This roster is still very flawed. Will get better next year but right now they lack any legit outside scoring.
39% from the floor and only 11 trips to the line tells you right there we are settling for shots, bad shots.
Is it me or does the OSU offense play at such a slow pace? Just doesn't attack...does run or push tempo. Doesn't look for early offense. Just stands around and then take low percentage shots late in the shot clock
They need alot of work running set plays and learning how to beat a 2-3 zone, 1-3-1 zone or any zone defense. It will be a long year. He just needs to play the freshman and take his lumps this season. CJ and Woods are no world beaters so just develop your young team. Can we use Kyle Young to hit mid range jump shots and keep him around the rim to bang in the garbage shots
Young. Mainly. Inexperienced.
Light'n up sum of you, they're gaining. They were behind, battled back even took a small lead. Against a MUCH taller team.
They (didn't get blow out) (on their court). Besides, Holt can't shoot the ball for them. He's being as patient as any 2yr. coach could be. He's what's holding these young bucks together.
Check Kaleb W. 18 pt's. Very consistent game after game.
I'm confident it will be fine. That still sucked tho.
Wow, they need an adjustment of their mindset. Sad ... Bring in a sports phycologist...
Well, I accidentally looked at a lock screen update thinking it was a message -
I’m just going to delete my recording & pretend this didn’t happen. Prop’s to Rutgers, though.
Tough loss. I am not giving up hope. Our lack of height is really telling. I normally like Andre Wesson, but he had an awful game tonight. Played slow and not very smart. That happens, but this team has no margin of error. We need more bigs who can be an offensive threat and rebound. Got outscored 6-0 in last minute.
Also keeping hope, as well as patience.
Holtmann will get them turned around. It may not be to our liking, or as quickly, the program is still coming together.
What really confused me was why Duane Washington wasn't on the court when we needed a three at the end of the game? Sure he wasn't on fire today, but he's still the best shooter on the team imo. Def one of the 3 best shooters. One good takeaway I got from this game (and there weren't many) was that I really like Kyle Young's hustle and determination. Lone bright spot today.
I totally agree I would much rather him take the shot than Jackson. Jmo
I'm really surprised this isn't an upset breaking news alert on eSECpn yet. They love trashing anything that's OSU when they can.
Holtmann will use this as a learning experience. He is a great coach and I believe he will right the proverbial ship.
What a horrible loss... this is the same Rutgers team that lost to Fordham.
I don't understand why Washington doesn't get more minutes I guess it must be because of his defense but I have no idea.
Andre Wesson was simply horrible tonight.Four Points, four turnovers, and one of five from the field but yet he continues to play at crunch time.
And you can't blame youth as a factor for Ohio state .Rutgers played three freshmen guards practically the whole game. Ohio State has two senior guards starting.
I was just thinking that at least when we lost we lost to quality teams that should beat us. And then this happened.
If you couldn't see this coming you might not have seen the Bucknell game, or the YSU game, or the Cuse game, or the last few minutes of MSU.
I've been preaching all season that our non-con turned out to be a very lucky one for us (not to mention Minny coming to town on rotten legs) and you could see the limitations of this team from a mile away.
Unfortunately we had several players--who have been inconsistent--have ugly games on the same night and we lost to Rutgers. The question is will that be the new norm now that we're going to be playing better competition every game and a LOT of really tough road games? Because if so we might be lucky to hit .500 in this particular B1G.
The positive is that a lot of this loss falls on the shoulders of our very limited upperclassmen and that are frosh have the best upside on the team but are frosh. And that we bring in 3 T50 guys next season. But make no mistake, the vibes on this season can turn sour in a hurry if this team doesn't find a way to maximize themselves and give it their all every game.
the empire never ended
Fascinating. I wasn't able to watch the game tonight and honestly kind of cringed when pulling up 11W tonight, afraid this is what I would find. I say fascinating because clearly this team WAY over-achieved in the early season and got expectations way out of whack.
Bottom line is, to quote UFM, the B1G is "rugged" this year. This OSU team has a lot of flaws, and to even make it to 10-10 in the conference is going to be a big time task for them. Holtmann and company have continued to surprise me, so just when I think things are going south they turn it around, but this isn't the 2017-2018 version of the B1G for them to find their way in. It's going to be very unforgiving.
“It offended me that’s how bad it was”
Our Honor Defend
Lackluster effort on defense. Not sure what is going on with CJ, has seemed out of rhythm for a while now. Woods surprisingly has disappeared too, but he's a journeyman and not used to being relied on as the main scoring option. Was also hoping Musa Jallow would take a step as an athletic do-it-all defender but he's barely on the floor.
Oh well. Let's hang in there. This is a rebuilding year, so have to be content with guys getting experience. Just hoping Holt can challenge guys to step up their games and go all out when they take the floor.
Took a couple of loses for the Holtmann honeymoon to wear off. Love all of the second guessing. Sounds like lots of coaches who probably dominate their kids league games.
I haven't seen that much second guessing of Holtmann other than some people whining about Andre. Andre WAS awful last night but I'd say most of this season he has earned his minutes, at least relative to what else we have on the roster. And last night Holtmann probably didn't want to give up more size than he was already giving up against a very tall, long, physical Rutgers team. I am sure if Holtmann knew how Andre was going to finish the game he'd probably have went with someone else, ha.
The team just simply doesn't have enough or any reliable scorers. CJ Jackson is a liability on both ends of the court. Let's face it this roster just isn't all that good overall. Holtmann has done a great job to even get this roster to the top 15 at any point this year. I'm seeing an 8 seed in March and just getting one win would be the ceiling.
Next year should be an improvement with another very good class coming in.
Agreed. While I am disappointed in the loss, this isn't like the losses we were experiencing 2-3 years ago where it looked like some players just didn't care. We just simply aren't that talented a squad yet. I am not going to single any particular player out, but if I was putting my best 5 on the floor right now, I think it would be CJ, Muhammad, Washington, Young and Kaleb. Thats not to say these guys aren't making mistakes, but I feel they provide the best balance of skill, athleticism and effort. Our biggest problem right now is size in the front court and no shot creators on the perimeter. We are going to have a lot of 50-50 type games in conference. Last year we won a lot of them because we had Tate and KBD to go to when we needed a bucket. We don't have that luxury this year.
I suppose I single out Jackson because he is suppose to be a senior leader that can be relied on but he just disappears and plays really bad defense most of the time. He doesn't provide enough on the offensive end to make up for the defensive play like some guys. You are right though we just don't have anyone that can take his spot and do anything different. We are stuck this year. Give Holtmann a year or two to get the entire roster the way he wants it and it should be a completely different story.
Poor shooting. I hope the Big10 reviews the tape there were some very bad calls.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box but I'm one of the most colorful.
Man oh man, if I didn’t know better I would think I was visiting mgoblo wolverwhine board!
I think I knew the Bucks were screwed when Andre threw that pass to the scorer's table. What in the fuck was that? And that's far from the first time I asked that exact question last night.
Class of 2010.
That wasn’t completely unexpected, the loss that is, the way it happened, a little.
Rutgers is a long team, that had been playong well in tough losses. That game was close to a must win for them. Go back and read other basketball posts, many people were pointing out our deficiencies well before now... it really is a testament to the effort of coaches and players getting to this point, now refocus and keep pushing. We are who we are, and have what we have. We have been maximizing a lot of that up to the Illinois game, then we started struggling a little, Last night we struggled a lot.
i want to address our fans, a certain subset. When you try to make constructive or even subjective criticisms of the team or players when things are going well they act like you are a hater. They react like you think the sky is falling, irrationally opposing your viewpoint with colorful change of subject responses... are these the same people who then jump off the ledge and act like the world is ending when the team performs poorly? I hope not.
its contradictory to FANatiscm, I know.. but i like to be critical of flaws during a win, and look for the positives in a loss.
Yet, at the same time. I’m happy as hell so many people are pissed off about a bad basketball performance instead of being indifferent!
Someone thinks their shit don't stink... You're amazing bra
This team is missing the go to player when they need one. Washington is about the only player on this team I feel can shoot outside of 10 feet.
"Once again, Ohio State clawed its way back, eventually going on a 7-0 run to garner a 61-58 lead with 2:37 remaining in the game. "
And then, wait for it, OSU throws the ball out of bounds into the scorer's table under no pressure.....game over. Thus going SCORELESS in the final 2:37 as Rutgers gets the last 6 points to ice it. **** embarrassing......
They are going to get crushed at Iowa Saturday.........
