This news day rules so much! KJ Hill, you're next!
Time to go to the next level.
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Great minds, Stanley.

Works for me. Time to take a final leap in development.
Boom! Lets get after it Bin Vic!

Lol. I am also not going to the NFL.
Brutus is back for 1 more!!!!!
^ best post ever ^
Glad to see Victor's coming back, but KJ Hill is the real question here--having him return would be absolutely massive, and give some much needed experience to what's going to be a very talented, but not very experienced receiver corps
"porque las estirpes condenadas a cien años de soledad no tenían una segunda oportunidad sobre la tierra."
If KJ Hill returns, this WR group will be insane (awesome mix of veterans and young stars in the making)---
that is if our offensive line can uphold its end...
All the pieces are certainly there...
If Hill returns Garrett Wilson's coming out party may need to be delayed for another season. That would put Hill, Mack, Victor, Olave, and Saunders as the likely top 5 in the rotation with guys like Wilson, Kamryn Babb, Blue Smith, Elijah Gardiner, and Jaylen Harris all competing for time in the rotation as well. That's a crowded receiving room with an abundance of riches. Can't wait to see what Hartline does with these guys.
I like how just casually threw a guy with 73 total receiving yards into our top 5 rotation. If Wilson can’t beat him out he’s one hell of a bust.
Hill and Olave would be a pretty good starting pair but after that all the jobs are up for grabs. Mack has shown flashes but has also been inconsistent.
Like it or not Saunders has experience. Wilson does not yet. The staff has typically valued experience at the WR position. By the end of the year Wilson very well may be playing extended snaps but I don't think he will be right off the bat.
Also Mack will be one of the top WRs on the team next year. That shouldn't even be a question. He was one of the most sure-handed receivers on the team this year when healthy (aside from the TCU game where he clearly had the yips). I think you're getting him confused with Victor on the inconsistent part.
Then it must be a typo in the 2018 Media Guide that has CJ as a senior.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

Yep. Not sure why everyone is so convinced that Saunders is the real deal. Not every short guy is the next Edelman, Welker, Renfrow, etc.
He could be a solid WR. But, at this point, he hasn't really shown much of anything one way or another. Weird that people assume -- again -- that he'll be a vital cog in the rotation.

One man's trash, is another man's treasure
I agree. But.....Wilson might be so talented that he plays.
Think you gotta play the special guys to get the most years of production from them. Shame get such little playing time from guys like Dwayne and Lil Bear.
If Wilson is as good as indicated, he will play.
Hill is an H-back, so that frees up a WR spot.
Don’t be fooled by past incinsistencies. Victor needed to be developed, and for the first time in his college career, he gets a full offseason of technique and training from a seven year pro. Very excited to see what that will bring in route running and hands.
victor, Mack, Olave slew of TEs, AND Garett Wilson. Not too shabby
Hail to The Victor!
OSU is 11 and 2 at best...without the Victory lap at Happy Valley.
"Give your dream an aspiration date."
I know it's a play on words but c'mon man. Don't bring that crappy fight song here lol.
At best or at worst?
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
Ummmm yeah I didn’t know he was even thinking about that. Good deal.
One more year of drops and fumbles sorry gang not a fan of Victor. With Wilson in tow and Babb returning maybe he will drop in the rotation.
I’m not quite as disappointed with BV as you but if we’re being honest, he’s a very mehhh receiver.
I think Victor’s announcement is more of a surprise than what he announced. Ben, great catch and run at PSU!! Use that drop vs TTUN to fuel your efforts this off-season. Have a great senior year.
"When you help someone up a hill, you get that much closer to the top yourself..."
Good news. Another year under Hartline will benefit Victor.
So are we supposed to hold our breath until every draft-eligible player announces his return? Come on, Gavin Cupp...
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I would like to announce that "water is wet". Press conference later this evening.
Miss Lippy's car.... is green.
Ignorance isn't bliss for the rest of us.
And Horton hears a Who.
What's round on the ends and high in the middle? Tell me if you know!
Glad he came back - PSU catch was a glimpse of what he can do - let's hope 2019 is a banner year for BV.
So This. Can’t teach 6’5”
Was Victor considering going to the same professional league which Shea Patterson had considered going to?
I love that he’s staying, but if players with these resumes are truly considering doing something other than sticking around, then I might as well consider going pro as the Pope or Cookie Monster.
I hope that by this time next year Victor looks like a sure bet for the league. The moments were limited this year but when he was big, he was HUGE.
Cookie Monster is the choice hands down
If there was a player that needed another year, it was Victor
He has the tools and the talent. Just haven’t found the right person to get it out of him I guess. I think he will be ok.
where else would he go ??
CFL with Duron
I'll be forever grateful for this one. Saved the season in the early going. Come get some more, BV!
That was my moment of penance for having ever talked sh__ about him, which I had done a lot of. I will not go back. With that said, welcome back, Bin! Can’t wait for you to take it to the next level!
I hope he has a Parris Campbell, Devin Smith senior season.
I agree totally. The only difference, IMO, Devin Smith did in his 4th year and Paris did it in his fifth year. They blossomed just in time. Good luck mr Victor.

BIN A GREAT DAY.
He almost dropped that ball. I think his problem is scared to be hit and his eyes look around to see who is near him. Look how large his hands are around that ball how can you drop and fumble so many. SCARED
Well, in his defense, it was thrown high, behind, and he had a DB hanging off his arm. That may have honestly been the play of the year when it looked like another loss to PSU was coming for us.
Need a lot more of this in 2019
This was one of the best plays in Ohio St football history imo. He did some good things this season. Hopefully Bin Victor has a big time senior season! Whoever the new QB is can use a big weapon.
No surprise here. And Mack should be back as well. I'm guessing Hill will go (which is a wise choice for him), Although I expect the receiver corps without him sill has a lot of promise (just with Victor, Mack, Olave and Wilson, and probably Saunders, but also McCall at H-back), we'll miss Hill's consistency.
Scholarship grid shows saunders as a senior. Is it a typo and he is coming back?
I thought he was a senior but then I heard something else that he would be back next year. I’m confused too.
I heard the same. I believe he's an actual senior academically, but since I'm reasonably certain he never made game appearances before 2016, he probably does have a year of eligibility left. If he has his degree plus a year of eligibility left, then (with or without a scholarship next year) does he stick around, or go the grad transfer route to someplace where he might play a lot more. The Buckeye WR room could be stacked again, especially if Hill returns, and Hill is the guy most likely to take snaps away from him in the slot. Without Hill on the roster, Saunders has his best opportunity to see snaps in the slot when they go to 4 or 5 wide.
Love the announcements of Buckeyes coming back for one more year - to help get back to the CFP! Perhaps Brian Hartline is providing some coaching that will help Ben and is worth his time and effort to stay one more year! I am thinking big things are in store for this young man!
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
Of course, he's saying he's not transferring, not that he's not going to the NFL. But it looks good on tweet paper.
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
"We get paid to score touchdowns, not kick field goals"
-- Urban Meyer
I had no idea he was a junior. Thought he was a sophomore.
He had our longest catch of the game as a freshman in that debacle against Clemson.
Makes sense that I don't remember. I scrubbed that game from my memory.
What game is that?
I hope he can really turn the corner next year. The PSU game was nice, Michigan not so much.
Glad he's coming back. Improvement in your game to get 1st round consideration would be great. Wealth of young talent to anticipate also. Can't wait.
That's good news and a good decision but the talented though very inconsistent Mr. Victor. The extra year of development will hopefully help BV become a more mature receiver and leader in Zone 6. Go Bucks!
This Victor might break some records.
Varys: I've always hated the bells. They ring for horror, a dead king, a city under siege.
Tyrion: A wedding.
He’s good but not any kind of record breaking good.
Victor needs another spring and summer with Mickey too add muscle to his 6'4" frame. He's not physically ready (yet) for the NFL. Good decision to come back.
"We're going to give the ball to dumb-ass and grind meat"--Woody Hayes
Anybody watching this true freshman receiver for Clemson just killing Bama? I don't care how long you've been here or how well you can block. If you can make the catches he made, you are a starter. These top talent players need to see the field day one cuz they'll be gone in three.
That’s what I’m hoping changes with Day at the helm is opportunity for young guys to overtake those with tenure. Tressel and Urban were both huge on playing the uppers and I think it was to the detriment of our team at times.
Boom???? Dude wasn’t ready to go
Those receivers that Clemson had tonight showed how important they are. They can bail a team out at any time.
Victor is a guy who can make himself some dough by coming back. He could go now and make an NFL team. He has more tools than many in the NFL but adding a few more pieces of tape is gonna pay off for him. Its tough to shine on a team with JT as Qb and with another squad with Zone 6 depth and a Qb who can share the rock like DH. IMHO if Victor played at Northwestern or Iowa this year he would have the tape he is lacking.
If Victor even remotely believes he is NFL caliber he is clearly not getting the education he needs. Worse hands among the receivers.
