I'm surprised he was even considering to declare to be honest. While he is a decent QB, he doesn't strike me as a guy that would be projected in the top 4 rounds.
He’s not an NFL QB. he’s not even a great college QB. He’s an upgrade from what UM had but that’s not saying much.
"Come on, you sons of b!tches! Do you want to live forever?" -- Dan Daly, WWI
I honestly think that Harbaugh sanbagged himself by bringing Shea in. He did help this season but they have QBs with more or equal potential on the roster that have had their development stunted. I hope Shea stays 2 more years.
*Patterson is a slightly above average QB - he's no Justin Fields.
Urban Meyer >Jim Harbaugh for ever and ever, Amen. 0
And Peters transferring in 3..2..1
Justice delayed is justice denied....#FTP
0-2 then. Have it your way, Shea.
Lifetime vs. UM: L 8-1, C 7-0, T 4-0
Makes it funnier that "Jake from State Farm" said he was wearing khakis
That's a Buckeye touchdown!
This is good news for them. He's definitely a good QB and knows their system.
I disagree about this being good news for them. They may think it's good news but in reality Shea is an average D1 QB and Michigan had guys waiting to play who could have developed into above average QBs by next season had Harbooger not bought Shea Patterson last year. Joe Milton, under a good QB coach and with an efficient scheme, could have potentially developed into a stud QB. Luckily for us Harbaugh is a shitty QB coach and insists on running Bo's offense from the 70's.
I think he would be good, if he wasn’t running the aforementioned shitty offense. But that’s not gonna change, so therefore...he sucks
If Ann Arbor is a whore, what's Harbaugh for going back to her?
He knows their system... So, you're saying he knows how to LOSE to Ohio State?
Must have bought into the "mirage" conspiracy. Must be a glutton for punishment - or he really wants a degree from that prestigious institute of higher learning. Yea, right.
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
Good for us.
LOL. What were his other options?
I bet McCaffrey transfers now.
Fields of Dreams
At the least Peters is gone
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
The Yahoo update I got on my phone said he was a potential 1st round pick but chose to stay Hahahaha hahahah
Are you fucking kidding me? sorry for the language but that is just not even remotely where he would land. all the Mgo dweebs are jerking each other off over there about him coming back. I laughed and said THANK GOD. He has below average arm strength, doesn't stay "on script" like he should, he's inconsistent, He tends to go thru progressions slow...I can go on...oh and by the way those assessments were from top NFL scouts. Shea's ego just wrote a check he can't cash. NO chance Peters stays and I'm guessing McCaffery is gone as well. the top NFL scouts ranked ALL of the QB's playing in the bowl games this year and Shea was at 16...SIX f'ing TEEN. Every scout has said he is NOT NFL ready but all the TTUN fans have chaffed shafts from dry jerking themselves endlessly to him coming back. idiots

Not kidding at all
Maybe they typoed “Would’nt’ve”?
I would have bet that was a news article from The Onion and lost
To be fair, is does say POTENTIAL 1st-round pick. He could have POTENTIALLY gone un-drafted too! In Meatchicken fan's minds, he should have gotten the Heisman trophy too.
Where else is going to go? I really can't imagine him playing quarterback in the NFL. He's a decent college QB... no more, no less... but he isn't a Sunday caliber signal caller based on what I saw last season.
When I die, sprinkle my ashes over the 70's
He’s a good quarterback.
That being said, where the hell was he going to go?
This is definitely where I parked my car.
I believe he's deciding between MLB ( drafted by Rangers) and playing at Michigan. NFL ain't happening, ever..
Let's hope Joe Milton transfers... have NO INTEREST in seeing that dude on the field...
I agree. It was garbage time when he came in the game but what an arm! And he looked like he could be tough to bring down. I’ll take Shea and McCaffery Lite all day. Keep Milton on the bench.
Joey Bosa eats $2 steaks for breakfast.
He is quoted in saying: "He couldn't leave after losing to THAT team."
Mike Hart called, he wants his line back.
“Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”
If he really said that he’s stupid. And I hope Chase Young plants his 5’10”, 170 pound candy ass into the turf.
Here comes 0-2 Shea.
So is he saying that he's NEVER gonna leave? Let's face it. If that goal in on his bucket list... well, he should just kick the bucket now!
Michigan players seem to excel at running their mouths and not following through. Hart, Jake Long, Winobitch, Higgdon, Lewan, O'Korn, and now Patterson. The amount of arrogance they display is just comical.

Michigan fan has to be pissed .. He’s average

He has a peanut arm
More good news...scUM just beat out UNLV for a 2020 QB who committed today out of Arizona meanwhile OSU has a Top 5 QB for 2020 out of the same state already in and, quite possibly the #1 duel threat QB from 2018 on the way.
Tee hee...scUM sucks!
"Give your dream an aspiration date."
At this point why would any qb commit there? Has Harbaugh played a single QB that committed to him there yet? It’s all been transfers and/or kids he inherited right?
You're too stupid to have a good time. -Dalton
Where would he be going?
I honestly thought it was a joke put up by some Buckeye fans until I read his quote. This guy is a college QB and better-than-average at that. But, NFL? Come on man!
You've got barbecue back there?
With the weak QB class this year and a good showing at the combine, he may have been a Day 2 pick, but not likely. This is a good thing for us. It will keep them out of the transfer QB sweepstakes this offseason.
Those who stay.........WILL lose again!
Enjoying daily the 62-39 ttun beatdown.
“Megadeth >>> Metallica” - Alum 2019. I couldn’t agree more.
He was good in the weaker SEC.
Looks at calendar. Confirms that today is Friday.

I could see if they had a championship caliber type team. But scare away Peters and McCaffrey and possibly Milton by selling your soul for a 9 or 10 win season? And whichever QB does stick around gets screwed out a year of experience during a rebuilding/ down year. Harbaugh is an idiot.
This is definitely a “Boom” worthy announcement. Every time a Michigan player comes back to beat Ohio State, it seems to work out pretty well for Ohio State. It’s like they put waaay too much pressure on themselves now for this game.
Patience is a virtue. The Arena League can wait. Atta guy, Shay. Thanks!
any chance you could send that pic to me? hahaha
You should be able to right click, open image in new tab, download and save if you're on a PC. On phone or tablet, just long touch the image and go thru those same steps. Pretty easy. It is a great image.
Quick, someone sign him up for a bunch of Michigan fan sites! /s
Duh, I have a Mac so it wasn't letting me do it the normal way. I figured it out. I'm a little slow sometimes...kind of like TTUN...
The one thing I will say for him is he finally seems to get the rivalry. Finally. On his postgame sideline interview after stumbling away with a win over Indiana, he said they would prepare for Ohio State jlike it was "any other game" because that was what was working. The team followed his "all business" lead and consistently lumped us in with the other "revenge tour" stops like Sparty and Wisconsin. Their unmitigated hubris (which has been their undoing for years) was again their undoing in a rivalry where our head coach was literally basing his retirement from the sport on whether he could get one more win against those filthy animals up north.
Now Patterson gets the hate. Now, I don't hear a guy comparing himself to Ohio State, or soothing himself with Harbaugh's "we just weren't the better team on that particular day" or Winovich's "We weren't that much worse than Ohio State" and all the other bullshit losers say. No guarantees either. Finally a leader saying basically "I hate them so much I have to stay and try to beat them." Who knows, the rivalry might even be back on?
Who am I kidding, THOSE WHO STAY will be losers to Ohio State. Again.
I remember when this Tate thought he would be the savior of their program until he transferred
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.
Shea is coming back? Hum... I suppose Dwayne Haskins should come back. We could have the return grudge match of future 1st round draft picks! Well, ONE first round draft pick, anyway.
I am still cracking up that someone...somewhere...thinks Shea Patterson is a 1st round pick. What is funny is on the four letter word site they listed his stats and they are literally just about HALF of what Haskins has. Hilarious. He is yet ANOTHER 5 star that is plateauing or even declining after being around Harbaugh and TTUN. So excited for Shea to come back...I guess there is a small part of his ass that wasn't handed to him a few weeks ago and he needs it given to him again. Game on bitch
