Thanks for the link. Really enjoyed that piece on the Day family.
Bill did a very good job putting this article together and gives a good look into the life of Ryan Day.
Among the themes that jump out: Day is competitive as hell, he cares about people, he has the intelligence to lead, and he is a high-character human being. He is certainly qualified to lead OSU football.
Wow! Thanks for the share FitzBuck. I didn't know that Coach Day came from such humble beginnings. I am convinced we've got ourselves another rock star on our hands.

Great story. Gives insight to the family growing up, competition and the grind clawing up to be a head coach.
Thanks for the share. I wouldn’t of minded if Coach Meyer would of coached Ohio State until his last breath, but it is exciting having someone new at the head again. It’s fun reading all of the articles and learning things we didn’t already know about Coach Day. Go Bucks! Beat Washington!

Seems as if, with respect to developing as a coach, Ryan Day was at the right place at the right time, and took full advantage of it, first playing QB under then-OC Chip Kelly at New Hampshire, initiating a link that benefited him greatly in his future development as a coach, and then serving as a graduate assistant under Coach Meyer at Florida. Two pretty impressive coaches to learn from.

After reading the article, I am positive we have the right man coaching the Buckeyes
My favorite team? Whoever is playing TTUN.
Seems so nice. Maybe he can be the next Jim Tressel. That would be all right.
Cool article, I think this was the insight into his past that many of us were curious to see. Thanks for sharing, FitzBuck.
Pick up your feet, turn your corners square! And DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!
This is the first time in my life I'll be older than the OSU football coach. One of my biggest worries about the program was the possibility of losing Urban but I feel better about Ryan Day every day.

It kinda sounds like he's a blend of the best parts of Tressel and Urban. I loved listening to people talk about how personable Tressel was and how he took a genuine interest in every one he met. I also loved hearing about how intense Urban was and how he received respect through success.
I think it's possibly the best situation for Day to start in and I hope it turns out that he's better than both.
