Love this guy's tape. He plays nasty up front. This news makes me like him even more.
That's great news, welcome aboard young man!
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
Good news this

Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Future Rimington winner, hopefully.
Maybe Ohio State has a 3 year center for a change.
Is that even allowed?
Shandy is not beer
Jordan was better than we give him credit. I too looked down on him when everybody moved and he didn’t snap it. And following Elflein and Price can make you look average too.
Now, 3 years of Nick Mangold is a good thing too.
Or, even weirder, a center playing center.
Boom confirmed. Good boom.
"The only good thing about it is winning the d*** thing" - Urban Meyer on The Game The War
Absolutely. This is a big (re)get.
You Bet! Big ole Georgia Boom for OSU.
I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I'm trying to win football games-- Woody Hayes
Hopefully this is a "mirage" of things to come! BOOM!!!
That's an excellent point Bum!
Beat everyone, in every sport, all the time!!!
Michigan only dreams of getting a kid like this.
Will be interesting to see how this shakes out. We took the #1 center last year in Matthew Jones and Miller has played left tackle all year yet we recruited him at center... Can't wait for the early guys to sign..
Get the best 5 guys on the line... that's how it shakes out! This will continue to be an offensive line driven program!
1000000% agreed.... will be interesting to see if Day gives the coaches a little more freedom. Urban has always leaned pecking order vs best group. Like if the second best LT is the second best lineman get the dude on the field instead of having him on the sideline. See the same thing with the linebackers. If you second best MLB is your second best LB get the dude on the field somewhere...
After this year I have to disagree. Putting the best 5 out there led to low and sometimes errant snaps and tons of false starts, which were at times costly. The best blocker isn’t always the best center.
AMEN! Games are won and lost from the line (both sides) out. If we can bring in top-shelf O and D line talent every year, we will be a great program with a promising future.
What's round on the ends and high in the middle? Tell me if you know!
And Josh Myers, too!
I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.
And Wyatt Davis, and dont forget the true frosh tackle Feire sp.
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
Re-BOOM!!!!! Love it.
Fields of Dreams
Another wise decision
Go get'em Cal Poppy - we are behind you !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

There will always be a place on 11W for LacrosseGirl.
I survived Cooper, and I hate Tai Streets.
We need more of her in this world.
I love her enthusiasm.
Why can't they show her on TV instead of those goofy superfans?

Will Sign With Early
Didn't know 'ol Jubal was still signing Georgia boys. Is he still causing a ruckus in the Shenandoah Valley?
(I'm reading Ralph Peters' book, Valley of the Shadow.)
Ex-squeeze me! Should be, "ol' Jubal." I stand corrected.
I have to relook at his books. I enjoyed Red Army.

Day is saving the day, sorry had to do it. Only lost 2 up to this point and those 2 could come back so well done coach. Go Bucks!!!
This has to play well with Nester and the Wray kid (I know he's 2020, but still)
Awesome. Also, someone needs to teach a dude how to use apostrophes.
Oh hi Mark.

Right? I try to keep my grammar Nazi helmet out of reach, but damn bro -- you're a journalist.

Thanks for that. It was driving me nuts. I'm glad to read that the MILLERS were satisfied with Coach DAY'S selection.
I feel like whenever I read Kurelic's stuff, he types like he speaks, which is painful to listen to, as if whatever notes he's working off of are loaded with typos we can't see but are painfully forced to hear.

If the Big Fish come, others will follow--and this guy's a keeper!!!
To me, the most important line in the article is:
The Miller’s knew the news was coming as Meyer called them on Monday, Dec. 3 to let them know where things were likely headed.
I assume the same held true for other commitments and possibly targets so they weren't blindsided. That shows how much Meyer cares about the program as well as the recruits; and goes a long way to build trust in the coaches that they will be straight with them even if the news isn't what they may want to hear.
I wonder if this has anything to do with UGA receiving a commitment from 5-center Clay Webb earlier today. This kid is going to be a special talent.
"We talkin' about practice?!" -Allen Iverson 2002
Mega BOOOOOOOOM for Day!!! Keep the good times rolling :D
That’s creepy AF

Welp, that's enough 11W for me today. See y'all tomorrow!

Good heavens, that is great news and hopefully a sign to others that this program remains very strong.

I for one am ecstatic.
These ballrs obviously aren't the fair-weather/ball-hog/glory-seekr kind.
Their stand up, make the commitment, and stay put...regardless who's HC !
Only those that WANT to be here...are wanted.
All other's either end up passing on *ichigan headed to bama or wherever.
I agree. but to be honest OSU is still a top destination with Day as opposed to Meyer. It's not as if he's being asked to stay committed to Iowa, Baylor or Michigan.
Urban Meyer >Jim Harbaugh for ever and ever, Amen. 0
Hell yeah! We're gonna need that boy soon
Whew!! Glad to hear it.
Zach Harrison? Is he really going to Michigan?

Zach Harrison? Is he really going to Michigan?
Nothing is certain regarding Harrison. If he were a lock to UM he'd have committed a long time ago. Same can be said for Ohio State.
The in-home visit with RD & LJ is for all the marbles.
Said the same thing to a buddy today. To enroll/sign early, he has a limited number of days left. If he wasn't really thinking hard about this, he'd have just announced it by now.
When is the visit?
Some updated info...I think
do you have the condensed version?
"The future is bright at Ohio State." - Urban Meyer 1/1/15
LOL...I’m not computer savvy like most. I just know how to copy and paste
He should start.
AWESOME!!!!! Glad to see this guy stay committed. I think this kid can be a monster
Seems like another example of a young man who isn't just a great football player, but a great (better?) person as well who is coming to Columbus. I hope Ryan Day continues to get players like this to come to the S&G, continuing where Urban left off.
"Football is, after all, a wonderful way to get rid of your aggressions without going to jail for it." Woody Hayes
That's huge. You could argue that center is the most important position after QB.
I think Harry will be a special player.

Somewhere in Youngstown, Jim Tressel disagrees with your statement.
Absolutely fabulous news. We thank you young man. Buckeye nation considers your word to be very valuable. You will make a big difference here. I can't wait witness it.
Congratulations and welcome aboard young man,we are happy to have you as a Buckeye.
Mark May is a mental midget
Big Boom! Keep the Booms coming.
No knock on the Buckeye's offensive line the past two or three years, but I think they're going to be better, deeper, nastier and more well-rounded over the next three years, and Miller's signing only adds to that.
The timing couldn't be better, too, assuming Haskins leaves for the pros, because Martell will need a line that can block equally well on runs and passes. It'll be fun to watch Day handling a multiple offense and adjusting to a new corps of talent, most especially his use of Martell, whether using him in RPOs or being creative in finding him throwing lanes. To that end, Martell will be an interesting hybrid of styles, with a bit of JT Barrett, Kyler Murray, Johnny Manzell in him more than Dwayne Haskins, yet he'll be his own guy.
Whatever approach he takes, the running game should be much better, given Martell's skills and less platooning at RB, which will allow Dobbins to get into a groove and return to his old form and related stats. Not that Teague, Sneed or other won't get their share of playing time. Plus, I suspect Teague will be an upgrade in short yardage/goal line situations, since he hits the holes hard and fast with a low center of gravity, not to mention tree trunks for legs.
The Buckeyes got enough receiving talent and speed to maintain their passing threat, even if nobody should expect the offense to match this year's production thanks to Haskins and company. Still, it helps that the offense will be really deep at the ends of the offensive line, since I can imagine a lot of sets deploying two tight ends, who can either block down or else send Ruckert in motion as a receiver.
That's a big boom
Varys: I've always hated the bells. They ring for horror, a dead king, a city under siege.
Tyrion: A wedding.
This is indeed great news. It's not often that an outstanding athlete is also such an accomplished young man. Harry Miller and his family will be tremendous additions to the Buckeye family. Go Bucks!
Buckeye football is not just about the head coach. It is an institution with a foundation. Harry Miller understands that.
Good luck TTUN, PSU, MSU, etc. We've always been here and we're not going away anytime soon.

"Captain, over here, I've found someth... AHHHH!!!!!!"
Can someone please tell Bill Kurelic how apostrophes work
'k...the ks' have it....
For me this has been a disconcerting 10 days, after a great game against Good Northwestern Team, I find out it is all over for coach Meyer, which added a new level of stress "Recruiting" but after this past 3 days, and 2 quitters, I do not feel so bad, the brand is intact, the team is intact, but alas my heart is not, thus I am going to bow out of sports for good (don't want to die of a coronary) with my great, and grandchildren around me, so I do feel good that after Buckeye sports for 65 years, I can turn this into something else.....
SO KEEP THE FAITH, AND KEEP THE LOVE ALL YOU 11 WARRIORS...…….. I WILL
when is the last time someone recruited as a center was a starting center for OSU??
So, recruiting rumor is that Alabama has moved on from getting. TTUN recruit to trying to get one of ours named Battle. ...any truth to that?
