I hate the offseason.
I'll do it
I will be your Champion
Go Buckeyes Beat Michigan
It adds so much flare... like adding a beautiful string of lights to an otherwise nekid xmas tree.
MODS always make everything better.
Behold the chunky whoop ass.
Who misspelled MOAR?
I was very surprised as well. We had quite a bit of depth at DT, which is rare, and the young pups got more reps as the year went on. We'll need him to add some depth next year, with Dremont likely gone, but Jackson didn't even make the third team on the depth chart. I only recall seeing him in one game.
If I recall correctly he still has his black stripe.
Didn't stop Haubeil lol
He played until the TCU game where he started missing tackles. after that I haven't really heard anything about him
Successful people do what they have to, whether they feel like it or not
he started missing tackles.
Ah. He was the one.
Reps are hard to come by when you're 4th on the depth chart.
He's definitely behind Jones, Landers, Hamilton, Garrett, Vincent and Togiai. Might be behind Cage, too.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
What about the running back Snead(?) from Florida? Anyone know what happened to him, is he still on the team?
Him and Master Teague both disappeared as the season went
Snead has the off field issues. Heard rumblings he may not be back. Teague was best to redshirt with Dobbins, Weber and McCall getting reps
That would be pretty bad. I like Teague and can't wait to see him run over some fools but Snead is supposed to be the complete all-around RB package.
Him and Alford had some tweets recently. Snead told him happy bday and Alford replied with thx and keep grinding n such.
Hope he sticks around. I think he’s a dude n a few yrs
Thanks all, hope that guy sticks around as he appears to run very hard.
I don't think they've talked about it but I just kind of thought he was heading towards a medical year. He had a fractured foot back in March and then didn't even make the 3 deep on opening day. I wonder if he didn't even get into 4 games so med redshirt is coming? Don't believe he's even seen the field in a month plus..
The depth at DT is the best it has been in years. The fact he can't get on the field is that there are Dudes better in front of him which is a good problem to have.
The kids too explosive off the ball... I get the depth thing but we've cleared the bench a few games and he hasn't gotten in... as I guessed above I think maybe he never got back from that fracture he had back in the spring. He played 5-12 snaps per game those first few games and then hasn't seen the field.. Quick look seems like he logged 4 games and hasn't played in months... 4 games = redshirt..
Read the above as well and didn't realize he was injured. Hope he heals up and creates havoc in 2019.
Yeah, it got lost in the shuffle some how. Haven't seen it talked about much but when he signed in Feb he was on crutches... fractured foot..
If he’s healthy and he’s simply stuck behind Togiai, Vincent, and Garrett then we’ve got a fantastic problem on our hands.
Fields of Dreams
I remember seeing him early in the season... Went in late in a home game I believe... Went in, on the first or second play or so it looked like he maybe freelanced and gave up a chunk play, and one of the coaches was IRATE. I think it was even LJ. They were furious with him and immediately pulled him and went over to him with a "WTF are you doing?!?!" demeanor. Don't know if I saw him after that, but that interaction stuck out to me like no other.
I noticed that interaction too. Watched it a few times. LJ was beside himself. Almost looked as if Jackson freelanced and got smoked then refused to come out. Young was standing there watching almost in disbelief.
We train to fight and we fight to win.
Yep that was it! I don't remember seeing him after that though I could have just missed him. And yes, it looked like they were trying to pull him but he would not come out
Think he had an injury to his foot early on right? Also he might need to work on conditioning.
He whiffed on a tackle on one of the long TD runs in the Oregon State game, that was the last I remember of him.
If they benched people that missed tackles they would be running out biology majors for the back seven...
They actually are. That’s why are defense has improved somewhat recently. Those biology majors are the real deal.
Vincent and Tommy are the future at DT. Think they are going to be big in the Rose
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
With Dre'mont being the only player in the entire front 7 leaving he may not see the field next year either. Hope Auburn paid him well
Just lost $20 betting that no one would mention AJ in the forums until 2019.
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
Fell 4 weeks short. How old was the bet?
Eight weeks tomorrow.
A lot of talent in that positional group and a lot of depth ahead of him.
Tough to crack the two deep in that environment.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
