Beat Washington.

I used to think such commentary was spewed by the tin foil hat wearing lunatic fringe.

Not anymore.

Well to be fair, Georgia did play an OOC schedule of Austin Peay, Mid Tennessee, UMASS and Georgia Tech. I mean then they had to play 8 games in the SEC. Obviously, Ohio State would have lost four or five games against that rigorous schedule.

I hope to god our conference continues to strengthen, schedules, get better coaches, players, and make winning the division titles mean something. Make winning the Big Ten title a pinnacle. We’re already the strongest conference from top to bottom, let’s get even better. Screw the things we can’t control and screw skewing things to try to get invited to a rigged tournament. Make them come through us. We can be elite above all others.

So much for conference championships matter.

Depends on the conference I guess. Apparently the B1G conference has receded into the AAC zone. Maybe OSU is now UCF north. I can't believe they stated that a 2 loss SEC team wins out against a 1 loss B1G champ. A 2 loss non-champ SEC team.

Unbelievable.

If all the off the field dramatics hadn't happened would we have been voted 6th? I don't think so. The media set the story for the outcome they want and money drives it.

I still recall when we got in during the Championship run, every single person on the panel was all about 'Bama.  As they wen't to commercial someone says something in reference to Ohio State and as they are going to commercial you can clearly hear Tom Lugenbil (sp) say "yeah, good luck...". I get that the job of the "experts" is to be objective, but with all of the SEC love, it sure would be nice to see Kirk and Joey have our backs more.

I mean I wish someone would say the media is punishing Ohio State because Urban's punishment wasn't "enough"...UCF being ahead of us and Georgia being ahead of us is beyond objective, playing the game doesn't matter. Ohio State the only 1 loss P5 conference champions not to make the playoffs, awesome! 3 straight without B1G Champ too, SMH

Southern bias alive and well in 2018

The " we would have put Georgia 4th if Oklahoma had lost" makes me not like college football as a whole less.  Think about the season after the B1G lost only 1 of its bowl games, they would have said no to its 1 loss champ in favor of a 2 loss non conference champ.  There isn't any coming back from that.  It's over.

I hope the Rose has the highest rating of any game and the two semi-finals are complete blow-outs and ratings completely tank. If this insanity is going to continue, then at least we can draw some satisfaction that there is no financial reward.

The Rose Bowl should have the highest non playoff ratings for sure. Me personally, no way in hell am I missing Tua vs Murray in Miami

HS

The ratings will be high.  The only salvation is actually for Oklahoma and Notre Dame to win, and win bigly
