No. 1 seed Ohio State dusted No. 2 seed Loyola 25-20, 25-23 and 25-19 to capture another MIVA Tournament and along with it, one of seven spots in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

The win was the 700th of coach Pete Hanson's storied career at Ohio State.

The final point tells the story:

Jake Hanes led the Buckeyes with 13 kills while Nicolas Szerszen added a dozen of his own.

Ohio State boasted a 9-1 edge in service aces and a 47-29 advantage in kills.

Szerszen, Hanes and Sanil Thomas made the All-Tournament team while Szerszen was also named Most Outstanding Player.

Hanson's squad enters the NCAA Tournament as two-time defending champions and winners of three of the last seven national titles.

Update: Ohio State will host King University in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament this Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in St John Arena.
