2013 RB commit Ezekiel Elliott took in his first Ohio State game this past Saturday when the Buckeyes took on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Elliott committed to the Buckeyes April 1st and has remained solid in his commitment ever since. I caught up with Elliott to find out how he liked his first game experience at the Shoe'. Keep reading to find out more info on RB commit, Ezekiel Elliott.

  • Season: "Going very well so far. We're 6-0 as a team and I'm having a good season individually. I have over 1,000 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns this year. Our team is doing very well, but we need to fight thru some injuries. We have a small team of only about 33 people."
  • Game experience: "It was crazy, the atmosphere was breathtaking. It was nice just to chill out. I couldn't imagine being the opposing team playing at Ohio State, it's so loud when the Buckeyes are on defense, then it gets very quiet when the Buckeyes go on offense."
  • Fellow recruits/commits: "I didn't get to hang out with too many recruits, I mostly hung out with commits. It was really nice getting to know some of the commits I didn't know too well like Darron Lee, Joey Bosa, and Tim Gardner. All the commits really stuck together as a group. I also went to Jalin Marshall's game against Colerain Friday night."
  • Players recruiting to OSU: "James Quick is a big time player we're trying to get. Also Dorian Johnson, the big offensive linemen."
  • Coach Meyer: "I got the chance to talk to him early Saturday and a little bit after the game. I also talked to him and Coach Drayton Sunday morning. We talked about my future role in the Ohio State backfield."
  • Track in college: "I haven't made up my mind, but it's something I'm looking at. I'll probably run indoor track, but I'm not sure about outdoor."
  • Future visits: "I'll probably be at the Michigan game and will take my official after the season. I'll also be up 3 or 4 times in the spring because I'm not enrolling early."
  • Goals for senior season: "I want to win states (football, basketball, track) I think we have a chance to win in all 3 sports."
  • All-American game: Army All-American
  • Favorite part of visit: Atmosphere
