Wondering what happened on the play where Mike Adams almost let Terrelle Pryor's knee get blown out against EMU? Well apparently Big Mike separated his shoulder against EMU and was defenseless on the play, according to Terrelle Pryor's Wednesday press conference. That certainly explains a lot and it seems Adams is fine now and ready to go for Illinois, but why didn't the staff put in Andy Miller immediately following the play? Adams, when healthy, might be the most important person in making sure Terrelle Pryor can operate like he is capable of, so it's really important we take care of big #75.

Other notes from the press conference, which also included Darrell Hazell and Luke Fickell were that Jake Stoneburner didn't practice today, but Dorian Bell and Travis Howard did. Howard is important as we saw Corey Brown and Dominic Clarke aren't capable of being a #3 corner, while Bell is extremely talented, and for now helps big time on special teams. Reid Fragel will play a lot Saturday regardless, but if Stoneburner can't go expect him to get the start.
