Yikes, what a rollercoaster ride.

Ohio State spotted Purdue a 10 point lead and then spent the whole day trying to play catch up, finally doing it with less than a minute to go as Braxton Miller found Jordan Hall for a miraculous 4th and three touchdown.  A blocked extra point left the game tied at 20 and headed into overtime.

In OT, the Buckeyes offense sputtered, but Drew Basil was able to convert on a 33 yard FG attempt, giving Ohio State their only lead of the game 23-20. Purdue and Robert Marve fought back, converting on a key third down scramble, then picking up 14 yards on a huge 3rd and 12 from the 16 on their way to a game-winning QB keeper by Marve, capping the upset, 26-23.

The loss drops virtually eliminates any hopes of a Big Ten Championship berth and potential Rose Bowl appearance for Ohio State.

So, vent away, Buckeye fans, but remember that Jim Bollman should get your scorn, not your fellow posters.
