As the season winds down, we are getting closer to the BCS getting totally blown up, with 6 undefeated teams still in the rankings. Florida or Alabama will lose in a couple of weeks, but Boise, TCU and Texas should be able to win out. While Cincinnati will still has to get past Illinois and Pittsburgh. Can you imagine if there are 5 unbeaten teams at season's end?
There were only a couple of upsets from last week's ballot, so a few strangers reenter the poll after some big wins that have capped impressive win streaks. We drop Utah and Houston a bit after wins, simply because we don't think they can beat those teams from the ACC and USC, but at that spot in the polls, does it really matter? If you don't make it to a BCS game, it doesn't matter where you are ranked after the top 10, unless of course you're Michigan and ranked near the bottom.
