If not for Wilson, Hall would have gotten those touches probably. They wanted to get Wilson the experience this year though.
Doran Grant came from the '11 class. He seems to be pretty solid.
It's definitely time for that 2012 class to start stepping into star/leadership roles. 2010 and 2011 don't help us much with those positions of need, outside Grant at MLB. Marcus, Perry, and Williams at LB. Bogard, Murray, Powell, and Reeves at DB. Thomas at WR plus the '13 guys.
Well, I think what he meant is that it makes no sense for OSU to pull Braxton for a less dynamic talent in Cardale. Tebow came in like that for Chris Leak, who was a lot of things, but a runner he certainly was not. OSU also has bigger more physical backs than any of those Florida teams. So in summary, keep Miller in there as a home run threat every play and feed it to our big physical backs. Cardale will get his opportunity next year.
Wasn't Franklin getting NFL looks this year? Aren't they worried that they have another BOB situation on their hands?
All too many fans in the south have no national perspective. Why would you leave Vandy for the PSU? Uhhhh....facilities, recruiting, tradition, money. Would be an extremely easy decision if not for the JoePa/Sandusky fiasco.
Yikes, even if what you said is the most amazing thing ever, it would get lost in the presentation. I can't even read it.
Lloyd: Orlando, will you reach into that bag over there and grab me a diaper.
Lavante David is the exact analogy I was about to make.
This was a record setting offense. Would Beanie's numbers have been as good or, gasp, better than Hydes if he were plugged into the same offense? Hyde is awesome and I loved his relentless beast mode this year, but I think Beanie or Clarett would have put up similar numbers in this offense.
Braxton would definitely be leaving if he didn't miss 2 games and if he hit the same averages the last 4 games as he did through the first 6 games. But the fact remains that he did miss 2 games and his production really fell off during those last 4 games, proving a lack of consistency. What might have been though...he could have had a 3000 yard, 32 TD, 72% passing year if you extrapolate out his 6 best games. I have 100% confidence that he'll hit those numbers next year if he stays healthy.
If Braxton comes back he'll need 2500 yards and only 8 TDs to be The OSU all time leader in both categories. And if his progression holds, he could be a 67%+ passer next year. Teddy Bridgewater completed a shade over 70% this year, so that would be a good goal. Those type of numbers would definitely boost his draft grade. Come on back Braxton!
Ah, why'd ya have to go and bring up the '97 World Series? I'm pretty sure that day marked the end of my childhood. That being said, GO BUCKS!
How in the hell are these coaches allowed to influence the BCS with their votes? He just said the only news he consumes is 10 minutes of the weather channel.
Psych degrees in and of themselves can be overrated. But getting that degree can represent a passion for understanding human psychology that is most certainly NOT overrated. I'm sure Urban Meyer has increased his understanding of human psychology 10 fold since graduating, but he had a solid base with the degree.
The strength + technique in that block is fantastic.
ELITE athleticism!! Kid can ball.
Love me some slaw, I find the meal is unbalanced w/out it.
Getting a 4 year starter is awesome.
You quit drinking alcohol? How did you do it? Seems impossible for me, unless I get all new friends. I wish I could though.
1.75 gallons is correct, which is not that much for a 300 pounder. For a more average sized person, say around 180 lbs, it's more like a gallon a day.
I'm actually eating more fat than ever now. Trying out this whole ketosis thing.
And one of those BCS losses was to an excellent Texas squad which beat us in the last minute and who nearly played in the NC game if not for an unbelievable last minute catch by TTU's Michael Crabtree. (I'm pretty sure that's the correct scenario anyways.)
