I don't know that we give Ash (and other defensive coaches) enough credit for the 2014 run. Started slow but IMO his defensive system absolutely turned the Buckeyes into a national contender and allowed the young studs to showcase their talent. I am not certain the young Bucks would have gotten it done with the 2013 defensive scheme. The 2013 secondary was painful to watch at times.

My daughters and one of my dogs loved to ride in the car too so it worked out great. I volunteered to drive them wherever they wanted.

I went through the same thing with my x-wife when my two daughters were getting hauled all over the planet to dance recitals and softball tournaments. She was on me hard to get the mini-van. I finally snapped and went too far. I went out and bought myself a sweet Mustang GT that was as loaded as a Mustang could get with a standard transmission that she couldn't drive. Gaver her my Jimmy for hauling the kids and dogs around. Probably why she is my X but I sure loved that car.

Shazier definitely. I don't think we need much help on offense. I would love to see Shazier and Lee running wild together. Together they would cause some serious pain to opposing offenses.

I really think Mitchell has a shot at the starting point guard position. He is a good ball handler and a great passer. Lyle at the 2, Tate the 3, KBD 4 and Giddens at center. Its going to be a deep bench this year. I would also like to see a twin tower set with Giddens and Thompson or Bell if he is ready on the floor together at times. Giddens runs well and could be match up problems at the 4 spot. Crazy maybe but Matta has a clean pallet to work with this year.

Russell also had to play without any inside help. Defenses pushed us out on the perimeter. The pick and roll isn't dangerous if the roll isn't a threat and when the ball did go inside it rarely came back out. I actually think he would be better without the ball all the time. Harris and Mitchell are excellent passers and hopefully the bigs will demand attention leaving a lot more open looks on the outside or to a cutting wing man.

I had severe back/neck pain that made my hands go numb and hurt in odd places like my lower arms, biceps and shoulder. A couple of shots and therapy for 2 years did nothing to help. Finally forced my insurance company to cover an MRI and that revealed the problem. My C9 disc in my lower neck was out of place by 5mm putting pressure on the nerves. I had the surgery to repair and woke up in such relief it was unbelievable. I had forgotten what it was like to not be in pain. It is now 5 years later I haven't had one once of pain since the surgery. I do have problems with my lower back/sciatic nerve that are unrelated to my neck issues. I have an inversion table that actually helps. Stretching also helps me quite a bit. I have to stretch a few times a week to keep the pain at a tolerable level. Best advice is get an MRI. Only way to really know what is going on.

I watched the game as well. I think VCU is a good draw for this team. They don't have a lot of size. We should be able to go to our small lineup and run wild all day. I sure like our chances when we don't have to play our bigs.

Agreed. The lake is way too valuable to the community and the ecosystem. I can see them extending North and West bank inward 20' or so as previously planned years ago and patching up the dam. From what I understand the earth wall is the biggest danger.

This lake thing really sucks. I have mixed emotions. Lived around the lake most my adult life fishing, boating and enjoying the entertainment. After reading the report it doesn't sound like there is a short term solution. On the sour side, I live in Hebron and if North Bank or the dam breaks my house would most likely be destroyed. I could see a lot of lost lives and major property damage if it ever happens.

There has to be a big kid in Alaska that is an expert on how to skin a wolverine, a badger, a gopher and a lion. Extra credit if the kid can pluck a duck.

#20 and #4 must of been at less than full capacity as well. Marshall was the only guy gaining any ground on Zeke during that run.

Wow, those are unbelievable line ups. Throw Craft and Johnson at the end of the bench for defense and they would be difficult to beat.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. - Albert Einstein The game against Indiana was fun to watch. I find myself getting locked in watching Amir stand around doing nothing that I don't pay attention to the games as I normally would. I like the small line up and the tempo.
