GREAT read! Thanks for the effort! I agree that they game will shape up much the same way the the Mississippi State game, with Alabama being more conservative than usual, because Satan knows that if they turn it over against the Buckeyes that our offense could possibly roll the Tide. Prescott was able to move the chains by making timely runs when nothing was available downfield, but his interceptions cost the Bulldogs way too many times. If Cardale takes what the defense is willing to give, I think that ultimately our speed guys will make enough plays to have the Tide defense on the field way too long to be able to have them compete with us in the fourth quarter. Barring turnovers, this might be an astoundingly easier game than even us Buckeyes fans could hope for. I love our chances.
Oh, I think that Lorenzo Charles, Michael Jordan and Keith Smart might have an argument with you on the greatest shot in the history of college basketball...
Jimbo Fisher is simply the leader of CRIMINOLES PART DEUX
I coached for the West Carrollton Wee Pirates, against the Springfield Broncos, so I got to watch Braxton run 65 yard TDs, untouched, back to back, against our team, and I have it on video, so I will check through my garage this weekend and see if I can find the video!!!
I say that it's a helluva lot harder to go undefeated in your FIRST season with a new coaching staff...with another off-season, spring practice, and fall practice under their belts, the 2013 Buckeyes should be hell on earth for the Big Ten to handle, and with the Wisconsin, PSU, and Indiana games all in Columbus, I believe that the Buckeyes will be undefeated going into the scUM game. Just like old times...GO BUCKS!!!
While Solich has done a masterful job in Athens, Solich hardly took over "a program in shambles", as Grobe did a good job of having Ohio be competetive almost every year in the MAC East. (A winning record in the conference for his last 5 consecutive years)
