At the end of the day this season descended into failure the minute urban decided to start Cardale over JT against Virginia Tech. The offense never had a chance to click and rolled into a game against a good defense with nothing to hang onto.
First Terrell Hall, then Walker, now Hill....
Plain and simple this is an issue of the offensive coaches, I'm looking at you Warinner and Beck, not playing to their players strengths. Curtis Samuel needs more touches at RB, Cardale should under no circumstances be running the read option, Braxton miller is a liability at WR, and the vannett/ferris/decker are not good at combo'ing on outside runs. Offense is supremely talented but completely predictable with WR running routes right next to each other and a QB who can't go past his 1st read
Listen these last 3 weeks I've been screaming at my TV but I've come to realize that it's tha same thing I was doing last year. Except this team has more expectations but realize how much better we got over the season last year and understand that we can do that again this season. I remember how bad we looked early against Indiana at home last year. This team now has more talent and experience across the board. Just gotta trust the process and take it week by week. I'll panic if we still look lackluster on offense by the time we get to Michigan state
No one seems comfortable out there on offense. Play calling also seems very vanilla with no creativity for either QB. I'm not sure Warinner is really understanding what coverages the defense is playing since he is on the field instead of up in the booth like Herman
Braxton throws a reverse pass to Parris Campbell for TD
Heard Noah Brown season ending injury.....
When did you receive that email?
Personally, I'm so glad to finally have a buckeye season where it is national championship or bust; where I don't walk away from a game happy unless we win by like 30. This season is all about watching a young and hungry team mature and progress. Even though we are 5 games in it is still way too early to speculate about the end of the season. Like urban said on espn today, we are no where close to our potential. I'm just excited to find out what that potential is
This team is a great analogous for the buckeye football team. So much potential with so many young stars; it's gonna be great to see them develop and get better and better as the season goes on. By march madness time I think this team could be very very good
1Q: 14-10 bucks
2Q: 24-13 bucks
3Q: 31-20 bucks
Final 42-20 bucks
Barrett 280yds 2 TDs
Von Bell pick 6, Raekwon forced fumble
If Braxton returns, as he said he would, I wouldnt be surprised to see Burrows or Collier transfer maybe even both. That leaves Barrett, Jones, and whomever else comes in the 2015 class.
Dontre motion, Read option give to Eze, goes for 9yds
I like how you broke this down but I cant believe that Gibson wouldnt leap frog JT in 2016. Too much talent/athleticism and will have the offense down to a T after redshirting
2015: Braxton(if he stays), JT, Cardale, Collier, Gibson/Burrow (redshirt)
2016: Gibson(beats out JT), JT, Cardale, Collier, Burrow
2017: Gibson, JT, Collier, Burrow, Clark(redshirt)
14/18 220yds 2 TD 1int
10 carries for 50 yds 0 TDs
Good guys win 34-20
RaeKwon all over this video. Love seeing him. Make plays and cover receivers. I think he plays sparingly against Navy, gets about 1/4 of the Virginia tech snaps, half of the Kent State snaps, then starts after the bye week against Cincinnati. He is too talented to keep off the field
