Ash was referring to press coverage. Which is the exact opposite of what we did last year when we didn't have guys that could win that one on one battle.
11w needs to do the caption contest on Bo Pelini picture. There has to be a thousand different ways to go with this. My creativity is too limited by vulgarity to make something up.
ahhh, the good ole days. simplistic offenses, smash mouth running. I loved it. great piece.
I also loved the horse and buggy. I wish they would get rid of these new fangled horseless carriages and return to simpler times.
I think he forgot the sarcasm font in the first three paragraphs.
I can't claim to have listened to all announcers for all baseball teams or all announcers for all college football teams, but I feel like we Northern Ohioans are spoiled to hear the greatest football play-by-play man every fall and one of the greatest baseball announcers every spring. I get so spoiled that during the innings where Tom gets a break, its almost impossible to listen. And to hear Paul Keels' voice race with excitement, accentuated by 106,000 fans collective cheers gives me chills everytime.
Even Jim Donavan is a blast to listen to, even if the games are miserable.
Site looks great guys! Much easier to read, much cleaner look. At 5:30 in the morning, I can now review it with without having to fumble for my glasses.
Sucks about the forum, there were a bunch of great posts. I look forward to watching those get rebuilt, and your continued excellence! Go Bucks!
Ditto. I have despised him for so long, to the point of rooting against the Seahawks. I now feel horrible for hating on a Buckeye, but feel dirty for thinking I should like him.
i am soooo conflicted.
Skullies like this are why 11W had a 71% jump in page views. The 11w team goes above and beyond everyday. Thanks.
As as for what Northwestern football is doing, major kudos to the young men who are leading that fight. That unnamed player's argument is the most solid and well articulated rationale. It speaks volumes about Northwestern and guys like Pat Fitzgerald. Class acts up on Chicago.
Across the lake to the east, however, is the exact opposite story...
It's great to have him as a Buckeye. He has proven himself with far lower talent - from his boss.
Fickell is in a no win situation. If the defense responds well next year, it will because of Ash. If it fails, it will because Fickell is still on staff.
I do remember a young Beanie putting the team on his shoulders against Washington. Didn't celebrate a touchdown because there was still work to do. I think I take Beanie over Hyde.
Archie - may have benefited from the great line, but you can't argue against the hardware
Eddie - running behind Orlando Pace will do wonders for your career, but he proved his worth in the pros. His style of running was purely awesome and brutal.
MoC - time and change will truly show how firm thy friendship
Byars - he was beast throughout his career
Beanie - had Boekman as his quarterback
Hyde - had Braxton.
Agreed. Let's go, Peyton. It's the only way I will ever root for the broncos.
So there are more athletes that come from heavily populated areas than rural areas? Shocker.
“The mistake you can make for a bowl is overpreparing for an opponent. It becomes boring, it becomes stale.” –Swinney
I could not agree more. It is probably a good time to stop preparing, Dabo, and let those Clemson boys go out and party tonight. You probably are boring them already. Let's not let them get stale.
How are Georgia and Texas A&M still ranked?
