I grew up a Buckeye, in that state up north, which was always a challenge (especially during the 90s - thanks Coop!).

I went to school at Michigan State, so they're my second and forever second.

First thing I did when I moved in freshmen year (into Case Hall) was put up my Block 'O' flag.

The Nittany Lions looked abysmal against *ichigan last week and the Buckeye defense is definitely better than that of the TTUN.

I'm not worried at all.

I've been real high on this kid for some time now and I'm glad to see him have this type of performance and earn that Golden Ticket. I got to see him play quite a bit last season and still REALLY hope he gets that Buckeye offer.

I'd love to land this kid ... the visit really puts in a nice place in terms of our chances but I just don't see him coming to Columbus.

Call me crazy but with Braxton likely here another season, Jones behind him, and Barrett already on campus I am not opposed to the idea of getting Kizer from Toledo CCHS (if the ship hasn't already sailed and an offer actually happens). I know some think he's a project but the kid can ball and doesn't HAVE to see the field right away.

Obviously Allen is the top choice ... just my two cents on the QB situation.

It's simple, Dikembe Mutumbo blocked the completion of your post Johnny.

Well to do or not it's still not wise for any student-athlete to be waving around cash; nevernind the fact that said waving of cash is happening inside a casino. Bag man comment was more of a jab at the NCAAs propensity to turn the blind eye when it's either convenient or easily excused.

This kid isn't using his smarts at all. While this may be on the up and up ... the reality is it raises serious questions. Wonder if the NCAA will find this bag man?

Nice to be done worrying about LBs ... now let's find one more playmaker!

Miller has had a real QB coach now for maybe 10 months of his college career. Fixing his mechanical issues overnight is simply an unrealistic expectation. He does have a strong arm and uncorks some passes sometimes but he also suffers from countless drops each and every game. The young man is just a sophomore in the first year of learning an entirely new system from last year. Patience needs to be exerted here people.

That's on me, I'm only edited after I publish (electronic edition, I don't submit to an editor prior to publishing live). Hey, what are we without mistakes, we wouldn't have The Houndie without it!  I've corrected the error in spelling, thanks for the correction.

Thanks also to the guys for taking the time! Go Bucks!

And here I was expecting something from Sarah Hughes.

I've seen Jayme play probably a half a dozen times or so ... the kid has that it factor and he's a lot of fun to watch. Glad to see him become a Buckeye!

1) Not aware of their work ...

2) Brandon has discussed or mentioned his displeasure with this waiver on multiple instances. Obsessed may be a strong adjudication of Brandon's thoughts on the waiver, I don't know if its far off. The fact that Michigan received the waiver when Rich Rod was hired makes it more laughable. Even more laughable is he tries to make it sound like Rodriguez was only allowed to make phone calls by the rule of the waiver. Rodriguez would have been afforded the same opportunities had he been hired prior to the dead period - perhaps Brandon's rage should be directed towards Bill Martin? If Brandon wants to believe there is an issue with these waivers then he needs to propose new legislation, not again talk about this to the media.

3) I don't think any Buckeye has whined about Brandon's response ... I believe we find it humorous and a bit hypocritical - regardless if he was  AD at the time of RR being hired or not.
