I've been going to games for 30+ years and I truly believe that our game day experience has only improved since Meyer's arrival.

I was there for the Penn State game in 2013 - electric. There for UM in 2014, electric and loud. Was there last year for MSU, stood the entire game.

It's not going to rock n roll for every, single, game (hello Noon kick offs against just about anybody) but when it matters the Shoe can carry its own against any stadium out there with rare exception.

I said it on Twitter last night and I'll say it again here today. If I'm a mid-range kid who is getting recruiting attention from Michigan and I think I want to commit, I am demanding my financial aid paperwork right then and there. If they won't offer it, I won't commit.

As Birm said, yes, there is an ugly side to the business, and yes, there are a lot of schools and coaches recruiting in similar fashions BUT it we've never seen it to this degree, this late in the process from any other coach. I don't want to think it's slimy because I know its more prevalent than we want to think but it really is gross.

I recently watched the first six before going to see 7 ... I went 1-6. For those that need caught up, or haven't seen, I like the 4,5,2,3,6 order and skipping 1. I like 1 for what it is but in reality it does not offer a lot of value to the story in its entirety.

Barrett will finally have a full off season to develop as the starter, he'll be the starter and receive the first team reps through spring (something he hasn't had the opportunity to do yet) and will lead this team through summer drills and workouts. We can't ignore JT's leadership qualities either - how many sophomores are elected captains around this country?

Does he have his limitations, absolutely, but every QB does.

I'm more than comfortable with JT running our offense. In fact, I want to clone him, because I don't know if I'll ever be this comfortable with a QB going forward again.

Not sure what they're going to do yet but plan ahead accordingly, everybody, with last weekend's snow up here and the call for rain all day Friday it is possible that they will close the golf course which will make parking a nightmare. Not sure thats going to happen yet but I would have a backup plan in place.

There are some great bars up and down Main St. one of my faves is Connor O'Neills, just north of William St. The Arena, which is more of a sports bar, is pretty good too ... think it's off of Washington ...

The guy tweets at around 1:00 AM ... entirely plausible this is about anything other than football and until I hear otherwise, that's what I'm choosing to believe. Trying to read between the lines of an ambiguous tweet from a #teen just doesn't serve anyone well.

I'm okay with him.

More than anything it is middle relief and set up options - seem to give away so many games after the starters come out.

I may be in the minority but I still like Jay Bruce.

He's under contract through next season and they can take him to arbitration for the 2017 season ... that said, need to strike while the iron is hot and his value may never be higher than it is right now.

I'd say Frazier has been pretty damn good. Votto hasn't been the Joey Votto of old but he's still no slouch.

In my opinion the Reds need to improve their entire pitching staff - outside of Cueto, Leake, and Chappy, I just haven't been impressed.
