If I was Urban I would sit down with Weber, if he can’t get past Drayton leaving and feels he got played then let Weber go (out of his commitment) if he wants. I know you build relationships with position coaches but commitments are to a university not a coach. If Weber doesn’t want to be here because Drayton is leaving, I’d rather him leave than stay and end up being disgruntled. Team chemistry was a key component of our title run and we have or will get plenty of top flight RBs who want to be committed to OSU
He made his selection, I truly hope it's one he plans to honor it as Urban will move on and likely complete this class without him. Don't be surprised if we grab another LB in his place and have no remaining scholarships for his position. If this is where he wants to be, I understand, it's a once in a lifetime choice.
