Read the post. That was a joke. Who in their right mind would actually wish harm on a college athlete because of different color jersey they're wearing? Lighten up, dude.
I would go as far to say that I hope their bus crashes on the way to the arena, but that would be inappropriate and going too far. Instead I will just say that I want scUM to lose every game in every sport. I don't care if it's basketball, football or field hockey. Sucks to TTUN.
Is that a swoosh on your pants or are you just happy to see me? Those are awful and the giant Nike swooshes thrown all over them make them even worse. I agree with Albinomosquito though, I do like the idea of the Block O with buckeye leaves becoming the official logo over the arched Ohio State lettering though.
I'd really like to look up in the rafters one of these days and see a scarlet #4 up there. Gonna miss watching him torment people.
Also, there's a big difference between trying to break up the fight (which Spence was doing) and throwing a punch.
Hah! How many posts or years logged as a 11W user do we need until we're "cool enough?"
I understand emotions run high in this game more than any other. I also understand these are college kids. I'm saying show some restraint. There were 10 other Buckeyes on the field still. Hall missed the rest of the game and will probably miss next week too. That was a scrum that wasn't going to last. Hall's participation did nothing except earn him an early shower.
Agree, even though I say screw ESPN. Hall never should have left the sideline to begin with. The whole defending a teammate excuse holds no water IMO. It's not like this was a real gang fight in downtown Detroit or something. These guys are wearing pads for God's sake. Keep your composure if for nothing else, so you can be on the field against Sparty next week.
Bravo, OSU students. Bravo.
Not to be picky, (ok, maybe a little) but that's no pancake. You can see Adams surge forward when Bell makes contact with the guy (Nigel Bradham) who Adams is blocking. No points for double team pancakes. Sorry.
It was on the Today Show this morning too. TBDBITL is utterly ridiculous.
That is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Bravo, Sir. Bravo.
Obviously 97.1 has to pay the bills, but Torg's firing (I highly doubt) is the result of pressure from corporate sponsors. How many Columbus-based companies (who make up the majority of the sponsors on the Fan) do you think would have pulled out if Torg were suspended and reinstated later? Not saying that some corporate pressure wasn't inevitable if he wasn't fired, but this move was political. Torg should be reprimanded, I wasn't saying that he shouldn't be, but losing his job seems like the station kowtowing to Herbstreit. Unfortunately, I agree with the others on here that Torg doesn't have much of a case and will be lucky to get any kind of settlement. I hope he lands on his feet.
Poor choice of words, but people need to lighten up. Why can't the media and a sick sense of humor co-exist? I would estimate that thousands of Buckeye fans have said terrible things (myself included) and I can guarantee a lot of them came out of our mouths when Desmond struck the pose. Does any rational person really wish harm upon a college athlete or analyst? NO!!!! Unless it's Mark May.
38-34 tOSU. I think it will be a low scoring game but all of the low scoring combos that I like have been chosen. I'm thinking in the neighborhood of 21-17 tOSU, just for the record!
70-0 Buckeyes come out and make a statement.
41-17 OHIO ST. Round on the Ends and HI in the Middle!
Great stuff. Tough day for many.
