I live down in Atlanta- I asked people at work if they were ready for the Super Bowl tomorrow.  They just don't understand.

I would be happy if they wore burlap sacks and won 9 + games.  I would buy the Browns burlap jersey if they made the playoffs.

Go Tribe!!!  Hate the late start for opening day, but a win will make it worth staying up.  Let's see how the new bullpen handles the pressure of the ninth with the lead.

Waiting for NSD is worse than waiting for Christmas.  I have my doubts about that Santa Claus guy being real....but I know Urban is going to be adding to the presents under the Buckeye tree!

Great to see Alex Boone find his way.   Would love to see him get a ring- winning it vs Baltimore and Ray Lewis would be icing on the cake.  Maybe he can pancake Lewis on the final play of the game leading Gore into the End Zone.

Although the academic stats you listed aren't bad, FSU doesn't bring the academic stature of a Virginia or Georgia Tech.  Miami and UF have much better academic reputations than FSU in Florida.

Jacksonville is about 75 percent Florida fans and about equal Miami and FSU from there.  Also Jacksonville is 2.5 hours from Tally.

Kid is from my hometown- transfered in from Mansfield.  Heck of an athelete and a very nice kid. Great parents too.  His Dad has built an excellent youth football program in Galion and really supports the community. Once he grows a bit and fills in if he isn't a QB then as a safety or WR he could really excel at the next level.  He plays both Offense and Defense- along with special teams because small towns like Galion don't come across and athelete like this kid very often-  hard to keep him off the field.
