  • SPORTS MOMENT: It was November 21st the single greatest day of the year, My entire family had flown in to watch OSU play michidumb. We sat in the south stands the old south stands the ones the shook the entire game and you were always thinking what if these things collapsed, but the game was too important so you only thought about that for a second. Ohio State went on to beat michidumb for the second and final time with John Cooper as head coach. It was also the last game I went to with my dad, who passed away 3 months after Ohio State won the BCS National Title in '03.

I do have to say something about EZ-E and Samuels. Samuels might be faster and more shifty but this is Ohio State and nothing is more buckeye than a power running back, and between the two EZ-E is the more rounded back. I would also like to see more Rob Smith than Samuels. It might just be me but I like a RB that can make people miss as well as punish a defender making him think twice or hesitate the next time he comes up to make the tackle. Thats what made Hyde so good after about a quarter and a half the defense didn't want to tackle him anymore because they knew it was going to be painful. That what EZ-E and Smith bring that Samuels doesn't. I would like to see Samuels in the H-back position with wilson and move Marshell out to WR where he was recruited. to get more speed on the outside with Devon Smith. But EZ-E is the best all around back we have elusive, shifty, power, and speed. I can just say I would like to see him run lower like Hyde did, he tends to be running tall. If you watch Hyde he was listed at 6'0 but when he ran it was like he was 5'3 he had a way of getting under the defender which gave him an advantage against defenders.

All I want to say is we have waited 9 month for Ohio State football and the season Opener is on a channel that most people don't have because it's on a larger package. This is BS how in the Hell is it not on a normal channel in Columbus G*d Dam* it. They did this with the BTN years ago now this I am sick of the TV schedule.

Although I would of Loved to have Marcus coming in off the bench I don't think we have anything to worry about with depth on the D-line the starters will wear an O-line down so quick in a game the backups will have no problem cleaning up when they get their chance.

I can't wait for the tweets of Michigan players to start rolling in especially the ones of the recruits that choose them of TOSU.

I don't see how as a Ohio kid you could visit a school in michidumb, when I was visiting school I was asked to come up to mSt I declined, because I would never cross the boarder unless it was to go hurt someone. If your from Ohio and you visit one of those schools. I don't even want you to come to OHIO STATE, just because you entertained the idea you are a trader.

So why is he in hot water all he did was stop the kid from swinging holding him till he gave up. I think he handled that situation very well. Was he supposed to let the dude punch him in the face. My guess is no, He stopped the fight with out anyone really being harmed. He held the guy till he gave up instead of actually fighting. I have been in a ton of fights in my life and that looked like trying to break a fight up more than fighting. Good Job Mr. Glover

Great Article I Love to see Katz and Spiel's with both in their prime's. Spielman had heart out of this world & technique, I think he might take Katz. With Orlando Pace I wonder if when recruiting OL the coaches refer to him and tell the recruit OSU is the only school to have a Offensive Lineman finish in the top 5 of the Heisman Race to draw the recruits attention. Be like Pace and you could win the Heisman Race

I am with you when it comes to the schedule. Plus you have to remember everyday in practice they are going to be going up against the best D-Line in all of college football. The D-line will give them all the experience they need leading into the tougher part of the schedule.

I could see it being $20 if it were a real scrimmage like they brought in Capital or Youngstown state to scrimmage and Braxton and everyone was playing in it. but $20 to see a practice I wasn't do it they get plenty of my money through out the season. I was glad they marked it down to $5 after the fact, but does anyone know what happen to the $20 the initail 12,000 people paid before they dropped the price did they get a free hotdog coupon or something.

People need not worry about the Offensive Line, Once the starters are put in place they will have to work and practice against the best D-Line in the county day in and day out. Spence, Bosa, Washington & Bennett will have that O-line ready to go come September. Mark My words they will not face a better D-Line in the country
