true, but reaching for paxton there would have been brutal, and the OL class this year is pretty deep, so they're probably gonna try and nab a few later on. ill might be proven wrong but i think this browns front office has atleast an idea of what theyre doing, unlike holmgren, farmer etc.

ive seen quite a few colossal browns blunders in my time and this is not one of them. I wanted treadwell as well but he really hasnt had the same explosiveness since he broke his leg against auburn last year. Coleman is someone that can hit a homerun everytime u throw him the ball

Agree on all points except the losses to Wichita and Dayton. That 2013 team was the last truly special buckeye team we've had and definitely should have held serve there, also we should never have lost to a far smaller in state school such as Dayton that was superbly embarassing. Nevertheless, I agree with the entirety of your post besides those two.

does ur definition of ultra conservative include throwing 40 yards to the endzone late in the 4th against alabama instead of running out the clock?

noah brown, 15 yard curl in the back of the endzone

sorry, did not mean to ride of ur idea just wanted to use this specific play as a talking point

i considered this, but after watching the play a couple of times im not sure if even braxton would have had enough time to put his agility to use as the hit comes so soon after cardale leaves the pocket

you would think so, but u could also provide urself a key strategic advantage. say we face a third and one and send cardale in. situationally, itd make sense for them to stack the box as cardale is the best suited of our quarterbacks for short yardage situations, in which case Cardale uses another one of his strengths, his impressive arm strength, to throw down the field to a hopefully open receiver.
