With Bell coming off of major knee surgery and owning the 25th pick, he makes great sense for the Steelers. Plus, the Steelers are in love with former Buckeye players i.e. Heyward, Allen, Grant, Adams, and Shazier.
Tough to watch Loving get the minutes he is getting...body language is horrible and his effort is worse. I don't see his leadership value over playing Cam and Micky more.
Being the conference champ of a BAD conference shouldn't be the deciding factor of who is in or out! Stanford lost twice to decent but not great teams. No way in hell if Alabama were the defending National Champions and did not win the conference but only had one loss would they be on the outside looking in. SEC, SEC, SEC...bah humbug!
We urban say this guy needs more touches and that guy does as well. We can only run so many plays. I think our players need to do more with fewer opportunities....Zeke is the only one that needs to fed!
Moving to second and third receivers was/is a struggle. Jones never looked comfortable at any point. He is running scared and playing cautiously. He needs to go back to being a gun slinger and running the ball like a bowling ball in a China shop. If not, time to make a change so that we have a chance to run the table.
Jones is clearly struggling when he has to move to the second and third recievers. It could not be more evident when the bucks were in the red zone. Are we sure he is the man without Herman?
If we are not careful, we may just end up with one of the three along with the incoming freshmen and Collier. In Urban and co. we must trust!
Love Braxton, the Buckeyes more! If history serves us well, we will need a second QB at some point during the season whether it is for a series, half, or a few games. Let's enjoy the ride and only hope that we are lucky enough to have a quarterback controversy to start the year. It would not be a bad thing to have two really good quarterbacks. Just sayin....
The league is strong but the top teams are most certainly not elite.
