I guess maybe Twitter is the best way? Just a thought
The big issue with it is more the racketeering and money laundering that occurred on United States soil. It isn't so much that Qatar and Russia got the World Cup, but rather how they got it.

Haven't really seen it either, but my initial thoughts are how his returning to school and complete his education, even with the call of the NFL, was an potentially powerful decision.
My wife is a Family and Consumer Science teacher in NC, and has a number of students, of all races, that think that education doesn't mean anything, and all they want to focus on is basketball, football, what have you so that they can be in the pros. She tries to pull positive role models to show that education is important and lasts longer than sports, and I think I may need to turn her on to his story for future reference. One thing she tries to focus on is the probability of making it professionally (very low), and here you have a young man who has decided that completing his education is more important to him than entering the draft, with no assurances that he will even be the starter next year.
These are the inferences that I make, but like I said, I haven't seen/heard anything about the interview so I can't speak to whether it is or isn't historical.
Have not been myself, but there is supposed to be a pretty big alumni group gathering in uptown Charlotte. Can't remember exactly where though. My dad lives in Charlotte and has told me about it. I think it is somewhere on Tryon...should be something about it online.
Was thinking the exact same thing (re: last year's highlights).
To me, every single one was from last year, and some featured players not even on the team anymore.
What gives? Were there no highlights from the team this year?
One thing that really upset me was after the Michigan State game, it seemed that ABC immediately cut to these two clowns (I don't remember Buckeye Man being in the frame) and showed them cheering, as if following the team and all of the good things about that was not enough.
I spent 5 years of my illustrious life in the mountains of Boone, NC.
Let me know what questions you may have, and I will do my best to accommodate.
If the move happens, we will welcome another Buckeye in the Old North State.
I don't know...I heard a loud screeching right around the same time I read about this. Thought the gears may be coming to a halt.
From what I have read and further looked into, it appears that this is something that their AD is proposing to combat what is going on, and from what I have seen seems to be inline with what else I have heard re: the Power 5 programs.
This could be just window dressing, very possible, I just thought that it was an interesting discussion topic, and wanted to get everyone's opinions on it if it was or will become true.
Like I said, I hadn't seen anything else other than a few other articles from the Dallas Morning News. My thought is that, even if this is just speculation at this time, since there are no policy changes as of now, it is enough to potentially begin to shift college athletics.
Yeah, maybe my shock and awe was not stated enough. I do like that they are considering all students.
Check the COTA website. There are some inexpensive park and ride options available that take you to campus and drive you home for like...$5 or something like that.
Depends where you live, how close to the action you want to park I guess.
Used this option for the Wisconsin game in 2011, worked out great!
Always try to make this a habit, but always seem to be late, and then ditch out early to see the band enter the stadium. Gives me chills.
There are some good SRO options if there are no seats, but like Turd said above, there really isn't a bad seat in the house for this.
South side faces the band, correct me if I'm wrong, but the north side faces the team as they enter, talk, etc.
In re: to Myers...
When did Michigan become a top school?
I received a Chromecast from my brother for Christmas this year. I have had an Apple TV for almost 3 years now and love it, but I only have one and have a TV in my bedroom that has broadcast cable, so I was excited to have a Chromecast for that room. Boy was I wrong. You have to stream stuff either from your phone of from your computer ONLY in order to watch anything on it. Other than a few things that I can stream from my Chrome browser, I have not been impressed.
I have been cable-less for the last 3 years, have Hulu and Netflix, and can catch up on most things that I need to watch. Apple TV is very good if you are already in the Apple family, and is good even if you are not.
Fantastic picture brother. I spent my whole life in North Carolina, save two years that I lived in Cleveland. North Carolina will always be my home, but there is a lure back to Ohio that I just can't shake for some reason.
Western NC is great. Was fortunate enough to graduate from Appalachian State (App State, and never Appy State), was there when they beat TTUN, and celebrated by depositing a goal post on the dean's lawn (the weekend after I got engaged). One thing is for sure, if there ever was an opportunity to move to Ohio, I would have to consider it.
Of course, that opportunity would come after the opportunity to move to New England, where my wife's family is from, and I think she calls dibs first over me.
