No love for the O-line?
Awesome. If you have a few minutes, I'd recommend checking out a breakdown and (fictional but hilarious) backstory of the characters in this .gif from the 2010 ALCS.
For what it's worth, I saw Manti Te'o's girlfriend at every Miami home game.— sir broosk (@celebrityhottub) January 16, 2013
Definitely a longshot... less than 5K at this point. Probably need a national writer to pick this story up and run with it.
I'm with you. I've been going back and forth as to who was more overrated: Notre Dame or AJ McCarron's girlfriend.
From the blog post:
"...besides, I’m sure she was just out shopping for AJ a new bowtie, or suit, or velvet fedora…you know, something classy."
From AJ McCarron's twitter account:
He saw a decent match last night. I caught CM Punk vs. Rhyback in the Tables Ladders and Chairs Match for the WWE Heavyweight belt during halftime of the MNC. Punk retained his title (with help from The Shield, of course) and will continue his historic 400+ day long reign as the Champ.
Not to mention his role model is in NYC for the Heisman presentation.
Other. I think I'd go with Zach Smith. He and I are built about the same and WR's generally don't welcome a lot of contact, so he probably wouldn't hit quite as hard.
A few days ago Conley told the 11w staff that outside of his 3 day OSU trip later this week, he did not have any other official visits lined up.
It was also 3 days ago that Northwestern lost to Illinois-Chicago at home.
So thinking transitively, you could say Kentucky < Baylor < Northwestern < Illinois-Chicago. HAHAHA.
Ahh, now I understand how Bret landed his wife: he looks great without a shirt.

New twist in the story. The Purdue Rivals blog, Goldandblack.com tweeted that Hazell told his Kent St. players he was not leaving for the Purdue job. The tweet has since been deleted, but here is a screen cap from our friends at Land Grant Holy Land.
If Chryst doesn't take the job, my money is on Darrell Bevell, Offensive Coordinator of the Seahawks.
The Defense really wasn't much worse in the 2nd half than it was in the 1st half. The only difference is Duke made their opens shots in the 2nd, but missed them in the 1st.
Duke up by 4 with .2 seconds on the clock. Mason Plumlee goes to the line and makes the first to put them up 5, then airballs the second. A little fishy, considering the line was Duke -5.5. Regardless, those with the over have to be fuming right about now. That's why you shouldn't bet on basketball games.
I really like our matchups on the perimeter with defenders like Craft, Smith, and Thompson. Probably the best perimeter defending trio in the country. They're going to have to stay out of foul trouble.
The key is going to be containing Kelly and Plumlee on the inside. It'll be the determining factor in this game.
Wow, did not see this one coming. Knew nothing about Wake's team this year, but Nebraska is never very good and got beat handedly by Kent St. in Lincoln!
No doubt. I'm disappointed he didn't make the list of finalists for the award.
Entertaining to read an outsider's take on The Game. My favorite lines:
Ryan Shazier is a very mean person. Do not ever, ever deny him a single request.
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State/Savannah State.
On the surface this looks like a terrible loss, but when you think about it, it's not quite as bad. Chaminade University is in Hawaii, so it's pretty much a home game for them. Texas traveled across time zones and may have been looking at the trip as more of a vacation than a basketball tournament. Chaminade has played well in past Maui Invitationals, last year they beat Oklahoma and played Sparty tough (lost by 8), but then proceeded to lose to teams like Seattle Pacific, Grand Canyon(?) and Dixie State (twice!). I mean with the talent Texas is able to recruit, there is no excuse for them to lose a game like this, but it's not quite as bad as it appears.
On a sidenote, Chaminade's nickname (Silverswords) is awesome.
