There you go talking facts about ttun and their winning history. You do know that nothing in that sentence will make a bit of difference to the average Mich Man.
Any writer/broadcaster that gives a single vote to this idiot for the heisman is part of the problem of the sport today. It does not matter what he does on the field, he is an absolute joke off of it.
Playing Ohio State is possibly a once in a lifetime event for many opposing football teams. That always seems to get lost in reporting about OSU's trials. VT had worked all summer with them in mind and after Braxton went down their belief in themselves could not be higher. They, like others playing the Buckeyes, are looking at beating a legend, and many times play well over their heads. It makes it so easy to see why they played completely deflated playing E. Carolina. They had already defeated Goliath in their minds. Most teams do not face opponents with that extra motivational mindset as the history just isn't there. With that said, we are very lucky to be Buckeyes.
Very disappointed in Herman. Knew exactly what the Hokies were going to do and saw nothing as far as plays that would help JT and a young Oline. Screen passes and using the tight ends to name a couple. Hate to call out coaches but when the QB has little time, sending all WR's on go routes will not help very often. This really leaves questions about him. Iowa State was happy to see him go and maybe this is an example of why. Have to be creative without Braxton or Hyde.
Looks like the weather will be fine for the game. Any rain should be through by very early afternoon if not before noon. Should be a hoot.
Herman is certainly installing plays to make an aggressive VT defense pay. Doesn't take much with the speed at his disposal. Get it in their hands and let them run, Tom!
The Horseshoe will be a great place to bring the recruits Saturday night. All fans sitting down and behaving and all. Maybe they can hand out knitting supplies to everyone coming through the gates.
That far away, the forecast means nothing. The temperature may not even be correct. By Thursday the picture will be clearer, but Friday is the day to get the forecast. Hope no one has a meteorologist in the family but they are wrong often.
Gotta feel for the poor high school kid lining up across from Feder. Talk about a long night.
It's Christmas Eve 2.0. Feel like a little kid again. Yeah Buckeye football!!
Good luck Braxton. Good gracious it pains me to see him in that situation. Been there, done that three times and when the initial meds where off it sucks ass from a pain perspective. Pray it isn't bad for him as some do much better than others. Much depends on the surgeon and Braxton has the best. Peace brother!
Think his parents, especially dad, influenced his selection. Looks like Georgia. Hope I am wrong.
Always liked Greg. Not a superstar but a very fine QB. Hard nosed player and a great Buckeye. Good memories.
I remember Winfield coming on corner blitzes when least expected. Would love to see a Pagac type defense again, very fun to watch. And you are right, they could really tackle.
Too bad that Mitchell decommitted. Must have been a tough decision for him since he took a while to do so. Best of luck to him and his family.
Happy Birthday 11W! Nice work.
Urban very steadfast and driven to continue their march. Said the teams response has been excellent. He told the coaches they need to find 100 yards of offense that Braxton created each game. He said Braxton's attitude is great. He is smiling, engaging with the team. Urban's got this.
For anyone that can stomach watching. They are running "Ohio State Nightmare" and "No Braxton, No Chance?" on the coming stories string.
All the negativity from around the sports world about OSU's ability to be very good makes me happy. J.T. Barrett is a very cerebral guy that will make excellent decisions and is known as a pretty good passer. He will improve greatly with each game. The surprise for all when the team responds and becomes aggravating for the naysayers to continue to talk down. Cannot wait for the season.
How the hell does ESPN get this info before our local guys do?
The year to return makes sense to me from my personal experience. I've had two shoulder surgeries leading up to an eventual total shoulder replacement. On the first one, the guy over top of me pushing the gurney into surgery looked at me and said "when you wake up be ready for pain like you have never felt before, this is the second most painful surgery there is next to spinal fusion. Don't want to scare you, it's just best to be prepared." And with that I went through seven years of shoulder hell. Oh, and the guy was right, the pain was incredible, and lasted for months.
To come back from shoulder surgery in six months being ready to perform as a QB is very ambitious to say the least. That is nasty surgery to recover from for anyone, let alone a QB. Braxton may not have been up front with trainers and staff about how it was really feeling because he wanted to play the season. All medical staff can do is go off of what they are told. Hope he takes whatever time necessary to heal up and does not repeat this again.
Braxton needs to take care of himself for his future and do whatever necessary to get healthy. The weapons are there. J.T. is a cerebral guy and can lead the team. Not in the same way that Braxton would, but successfully none the less.
