Great article Jeremy. I know he was interviewed by an OSU website, but it sounds like the Bucks are in a really good position to land this young man.
King and Bosa in 2016 would be a nice trio to go along with Cooper.
Great pickup by the staff. hopefully the staff can gain some ground with Bragg to make this an incredible class for 15. I hope Kentucky or Kansas lands Cheick Diallo to give the staff a better shot at Bragg.
It will be hard for any program to pull him from UW, but I think that OSU has at least a shot. I read elsewhere that he already has plans to visit again in the summer.
Not surprised by this at all, I never expected his commitment to last until signing day. We need to land a couple safeties to help build depth at the position
Nice article Birm. Very impressive film for this kid. He will be hard to get away from the U, but he seems to have built a solid relationship with coach Smith already early in the game.
Damn! Sucks the staff was never able to get him on campus for a visit.
One of the more impressive films I have seen of any 2015 DB. I would just describe this kid as playmaker.
I have read that Giddens has serious interest in OSU, but I have not heard of Jaylen Brown. Does Brown have serious interest in OSU, or could it be a repeat of Okafor and Jones where Jones had no interest in going to OSU? I think that lead to Okafor not really considering OSU since he was always going to play with Jones.
Hope Johnson works out. Seems like over the last 3-5 years all of OSU's high profile LB recruits have not panned out.
Great write up as always!!! Is Calvin Ridley being included in the class just you kind of going out on limb? I just haven't seen to much about Ridley and his interest in OSU. I know Coach Smith was able to steal Johnnie Dixon from the U last year?
Seems like the staff hit a home run with his visit. Sounds like coach Meyer and coach Smith have positioned themselves well to be one of Kirk's finalists for sure.
Great insight as always. Hopefully he is confident enough about his abilities to not be turned away by depth. I believe in your article that it said coach Smith stated he would be used like Philly Brown rather then the Wilson or Samuel. After this year OSU will not have very much proven depth at true WR position in my opinion.
I am intrigued by Dexter Williams. He seems to be very interested in OSU from the articles I have read about him and his highlight tape is very impressive.
If somehow coach Smith could steal Ridley from South Florida that would be amazing.
Great update! Seems the staff has a real shot here if they can have a great visit. Urban must have know what he was doing bringing coach Smith on board huh?
Wow. He will be super hard to pull, but he must have some serious interest to visit on his own dime. I find it interesting that OSU is the only midwest school he is visiting also.
I am really surprised by all of this recent talk about Malik McDowell. I have just assumed that he was going to be a lock for scum.
Soso is a beast. Can't hurt either having his good friend Mickey Mitchell committed to Thad already. I think Patrick will only leave the state of FL if he chooses OSU. Urban and staff have done a great job building a relationship with him early. Urban has film now of Hyde destroying people in his spread offense which should only help with these two kids.
Does anyone have any film of Ashton White? I have been looking and can't seem to find his film anywhere.
Ohio State 38
Great write up! I have read lately between Rivals and 24/7 that Florida is making a push to be a threat to Auburn for Johnson along with OSU and that USC has faded a little lately. I would love to land this kid but I tend to think he stays south.
Recently Dawson was on Twitter asking most of the high profile OSU recruits to follow back and was having conversations with them. I think this shows him starting to lean toward OSU. OSU is still close to home and it gives him the best place that he can develop as a player and to win at a high level. He retweeted a tweet that OSU will be playing for crystal balls and Rose Bowls compared to MSU playing for Gator Bowls.
