Any chance we reached out to Darnay Holmes last night? I'm a huge LeCounte and Lamont Wade fan and believe we are in great positions to land both of them for the secondary, but Holmes may be the best of them all. Those 3 to finish out the DBs class would be unreal.
I'm a Herbi fan. The guy loves Ohio State and I think he is the most knowledgable analyst on TV. I still remember before the 2010 season when everyone was picking Bama to repeat and he picked an unranked Auburn team to win the SEC. Thought it was a terrible pick but then Auburn went on to win the title. The guy knows what he's talking about and he clearly loves Ohio State so he's good in my book.
Harbaugh will certainly turn them around, but I just see their ceiling with him as a top 10 team. Even 3+ years from now I think the absolute best they do is flirt with a top 10 ranking. They'll never reach our level. Same goes for Penn State.
Btw that Rutgers quote is priceless. A surprising amount of Rutgers fans think that they're some sleeping giant that will soon rise to the top of college football. Gotta love them
1. Bucks (by far)
226. Los Angeles Sparks
You think we look to take 6 WRs in 2017? Not to mention Judson who will most likely be a receiver/h-back type player. I see Grimes, Greene, and one of the Ohio receivers. Would love to get Peoples-Jones, but I think with Grimes and Greene potentially committing early that he will wait and really look at all his options. Would still be the #1 receiver haul in the nation though.
No. I'm all for the conference doing well and winning their OOC games (outside of michigan) but I certainly don't want another big ten team winning a national title in football. I want us to be permanently on another level compared to the rest of the big ten.
I completely agree with this. MSU has already benefitted from us laying off of Justin Layne, and it looks like they are in good position with Robertson and Josh King because we're laying off them in order to pursue players higher on our board.
Haha I think you're right! I read it earlier and felt compelled to help the guy out so I commented on it. I'm glad others read it the same way. He's a UK writer though so what do you expect lol
You're the worst kind of person OP. Luckily I've seen the movie and enjoyed it, but spoiling movies and shows to any degree is infuriating. I know it's not a brand new movie, but it's new enough. Seriously though, the worst people list goes like Hitler, Michigan fans, people that spoil movies and shows because they have the ability to do so.
Thank you, I completely agree. Walker is currently committed and has shown no sign of wavering on his commitment. All the talk on him is pure speculation. (I mean Rutgers, come on). I keep seeing people say we would be fine without him because we have McCall and Hill, but they are playing h-back and slot, not RB. The true RB receives so many more touches than the h-backs, so yes Walker is very important, the best in his class, and is currently committed to be a buckeye.
Now yell at him for blocking your view.
The crystal ball is only a useful tool if you're looking at who is making the prediction. I really only take notice of a pick if it's Birm, Bill Kurelic, Alex Gleitman, or Steve Wiltfong. The people from Land Grant Holy Land and other sites put it a crazy amount of picks and just follow the trend. Point is, look who is making the CB prediction and when they make it. That holds the most weight, not the percentages.
I don't think there were enough typos in her text log.
White and gold.
McCall would be an h-back, dawg.
So it was a world record, but only the best by a player since '03? Come on NFL network, get your ish together.
EastOHBuckeye I couldn't agree with you more about M Man. He's very good at reciting facts and stats and most of the time citing his info. But his opinions are way off base sometimes and it's almost like he's arguing for the sake of arguing. These are minor stories where it's fun to jab at our rivals when some odd, negative thing happens to them but he takes it wildly personal. Just something that's been bugging me lol
Sure you're looking at the right numbers, M Man? This link makes it seem there are 19 available scholarships to add for 2015, so plus attrition you gotta think the staff would aim for 20-22 recruits.
you guys have more 2015 decommits than commits and the least amount of recruits of any power 5 team. Although I understand you want to look at the quality of the current commits, the number of commits is something you cannot overlook because 6 at this point is dreadful. With only a few weeks left for harbaugh, I honestly only see Michigan ending with 10ish commits. Not his fault though, he has literally zero relationships with any potential recruits.
All of our lower rated commits and guys we're recruiting are all having huge senior seasons. Urban has said how he kind of wishes he could wait longer to evaluate kids before offering, but that it's hard considering how early you have to start building relationships. So all of our guys are either highly rated, having huge senior years, or both. That said, I still hope we get Gallimore too
I'll direct it at Marshall, he struggles with like half of his punt returns. He's electric with the ball but I mean come on. Grant it he wasn't the only one with problems today. Lot of blown opportunities. Minnesota isn't a bad team, lucky that they have that 25 next to their name right now. Expect a big outing vs Indiana.
Herman was calling plays as if Braxton was at the helm. It's like we perfected the offense this past month but reverted to our Va Tech ways this game. Thank god we won though
Man now our players are going to be sleepy and unable to play well tonight.
